I'm making 600 hp on a stock 68.... Of course it wont last forever but it does pull and hold surprisingly well
Nice looking rig!!
This dude is seriously below the standard of what you normally bring on the show.
I was thinking what fucking trans tuning does this dude have to hold 650? Ive got an 18 with 5k miles, the mm3 with drd tuning and 200horse tune, deleted, and when I do a highway pull I can feel when I'm to hard on the trans.. I'm well under 600hp, no fuckin way!
It's 3 tone tequila,black, and Chrome
What do you guys think about a 150hp tune and delete on a stock 68rfe?
I pushed a 150 Hp tune on my deleted 2020 Ram 2500. 68rfe did good for a week and 3 days...
I’ve been running a stock 68 for 2 years on a 100hp tune.
It's all in the driver's hands. Some can make em last, some can't. Avoid hard rolling pulls in the overdrive gears (5th & 6th) and install a good built valve body with trans tunning to give it the best chance of living.
My stock 68 rfe went to shit at around 600hp. He must be lucky.
use LubeGuard Plantinum fluid.. try again. then report back.
Mine took a 💩 at 550 hp. Muldoons in Delaware is building a stage 2 trans for me
Mine took a shit at 580hp 😂
No stock 68RFE will hold 650+ hp; this is totally absurd. You'd have to drive like a 90 year old blind woman for it to say together and then there'd be no point in having that much power. A full throttle pull or downshift in 5th or 6th *will* cause the trans to slip; this is an incredibly common problem for people that have tuned and don't understand the intricacies of the 68RFE. Furthermore, stock line pressure cannot exceed 186psi without replacing the valvebody with a modified one. Making that kind of power, with that low of line pressure will cause slippage, period. Realistically, a *tuned* stock 68RFE is good for around 450-500... which brings us to his dyno claim of 650 whp on stock fuel.
Take a look at Ray's video from Double R Diesel where he dynos a stock fuel truck with a S369SX-E which flows more than that Fleece S467 and he's maxed out tuning to get 550 whp on a mustang dyno. So how is it possible that this guy with a 2012, stock fuel and a S467 is making 100+ more whp than a 2017, stock fuel and S369SX-E? Are you telling me that his tuner is the only one to somehow squeeze out 100+ whp from stock fuel and no one else has? No, it's much more likely that he is reporting inflated numbers and more realistically he's around 500 whp which would also explain how his transmission is still together.
Cool truck though, like the color. 👍
Monster RAM that 4th gen has 150hp injectors, sportsman pump for fueling
I don't think you guys listened to the man. 10:23 He clearly says the truck dyno'd 650whp on stock fuel and *NOW* he has exergy 150hp injectors and sportsman pump after the stock ones went to shit. 9:45
Details gentlemen, details.
Btw, the the trans still isn't going to last unless he drives with an egg between his foot and the accelerator pedal. Or are you telling me that he has somehow gotten a one in a million 68RFE that just happens to hold more power than a RevMax 550? Guys, I have a '14 2500 Laramie with about $35k into it with me doing most the work. This guy's claims just don't resonate with reality.
Monster RAM I’m running a s369 sxe on my stock 68rfe, but yes it doomed to fail. As soon as this guy said his boost gauge doesn’t seem right only readying a high of 37, makes me think he’s not very informed as well pays others to work on his truck. Factory boost sensor only good for high 30,s
Ray. What tuning did you end up with for your trans?
That power IS NOT achievable with out fuel !! POINT BLANK !!! It probably has stock injector with nozzles and at minimum...a modified CP3 !!
650 on stock fuel..yeah right
150s and a sportsman pump makes no sense at all
Figure out an end goal first then buy the correct size parts.
Daily driving 24x14s lol
Cool color though
There’s a tuner in PA that made 650hp and 24mpg that has done it already
What tuner and what year truck?
13+ will do 600ish but a 2012 will max out around 490-510 according to multiple reliable sources
4th gens he’s done 3rd gen he’s done it..he solely operates on his own and doesn’t offer it publicly..
Lol
Yah rite stock 68 as if it won’t last long better have a friend in the tow truck business
