Wish you guys and more tuning companies were located out west near the mountains and could do tow testing in those environments. Those egt's you are seeing in this video are nothing. Would love to get your opinion about the data/temps/performance pulling that load up a 2k elevation gain over 6 miles, mountain pass.
Great info guys! When I study your opinions on all of your technical modifications I can't help myself but to think of so many other ways this can be done for every application of driving in terms of size of load, racing, sled pulls ect. I would love to do what you guys are doing, I'm very thankful to see this being done because the factories basically build a single truck in each model. You guys seem to unlock the potential in all of the dynamic components in these trucks. 👍🙏💯. I do have a questions if you wouldn't mind expounding on this topic, my next step on my 2011 LML GMC is air in and air out. My truck is used as a daily driver and I pull a fifth wheel trailer and an extra load of around 4000 lbs so a total of around 14,000 lbs. The truck stock was a strong running truck however I have applied mods and I'm playing the power curve game such as yourselves, I have taken your advice several times and I've realized that I must read between the lines with you guys lol. 2700 bar fuel pressure sensor was recommended by Nick but he did say "don't jump in with 2 feet" and to understand the fuel side of the truck and the immense pressure that is being introduced to
So is this truck showing it’s numbers with the emissions intact? It doesn’t sound like it. I would like to know where this truck is with egt , drive pressure , and the trans working with factory tuning .
Ya if you can hear a diesel these days then it doesn’t have emissions. That being said you can drop egt numbers by probably a couple hundred without a dpf
The common rail system, I went with a 2400 bar fuel pressure sensor. My question is about a good combination for a turbo, I'm happy with the stock turbo on this truck however I know that it's time to upgrade and I have listened to you guys talk about the 64 mm stealth, is a 63 mm stealth available? Or would it be beneficial to put a bigger wheel on my stock Turbo? I'm not too impressed with the turbo lag and I seem to have a weak throttle response no matter what I've done. Also another question I have is on my airdog 165 after applying the fuel pressure sensor would it be beneficial for me to crank up the pressure on the air dog?
Scott, the 64 is the smallest upgrade we offer and would be our recommendation if the stock unit is getting hot pulling at the power level you're currently running. I would only start adding low side fuel pressure if the high side is unable to keep up adequately. In that case I would verify the low side is maintaining the set pressure while operating at high load. Hope this is helpful. - Nick
Keep seeing videos on the 64 need a video for the srt 60. Makes me think the 64 is were its at. I talked to the shop for the first time, trying to decide which one to buy.
@leanderpruett4924 We have one video out covering the Stealth STR for 2007.5-2023 Trucks. You can check it out here on our channel. Don't worry though there will definitely be more STR content to come.
@user-ru7lg5kq3x For this kind of power out of a 5.9L Cummins you will want to go with our HX35 Stealth 64. It can produce up to 650hp with some injectors and tuning. For injectors, you will want to go with at least 60 overs, or larger if you plan on going bigger in the future.

Trigger, we have my ‘22 at 500 HP right now and just completed buttoning up our 19+ Stealth 64 for testing on said truck. We’re very excited to get the 19+ turbos launched and of course to do in the 2022 trucks publicly as soon as we can.
Thanks Brent. I had my eye on too many other things and didn't pull up trans temp on the cluster or CTS so I don't have that info for you. Please accept my apology for that. I can say that I've not seen this trans get warm enough to concern me while towing (Revmax Build).
@@nickpriegnitz5895 No worries, Nick. The 68RFE gets some bad press when pulling heavier loads. I have one in my 2018 Ram 2500, but no issues so far. Thanks, again.
@Nick Priegnitz Yes Revmax or whatever is key to mention, as the Valvebody alone of the 68 is a terrible design and clear weak link to hauling. Be sure you let viewers know this key upgrade while talking about all the engine performance. The whole truck is as weak as it's weakest link.
Oil temp under load. I'm towing 15,000 to 19,000 with a stock ram 2015 with the aisin. Truck spends 95% of its life towing. At what point should I be concerned.
If you’re running conventional motor oil I would try to keep it below 250 or 260. The synthetics can take closer to 300° but for my own peace of mind I don’t think I would push it that far continuously if you’re consistently seeing over 260 I’d consider adding an aftermarket oil cooler
@coketrain4755 Different trucks or turbochargers may change things a bit. However, most of the information in this video will be applicable to almost any stock or modified diesel truck.
Out of the big 3, the Cummins sounds sooooo good. Great information in this video.
Absolutely, listening to this engine work is strangely soothing.
Nick is a wealth of knowledge. I’ve valued his thoughts, opinions and products since the LB7 days at Scheid.
We will let him know, thanks for the kind words!
Awesome video - nice in depth explanation of everything.
Much appreciated!
Such a great video an the sounds are music to my ears for sure!!! Another Stella video Nick an Chris awesome information as well.

Great information, and a great product! What trans is in that truck?
Thanks! The transmission on this Cummins is a 68RFE.

What are the actual differences between fleece cheetah ...BD Screamer...Stealth ..and ATS.. or all theoretically built the same
Do you have any data with drive pressure with a truck that is set up with compounds?
We do not.
I know I’m way late. But would a set of compounds help bridge the gap of having high end horsepower without sacrificing the low end torque

What the MPG with that set up when loaded and with out being loaded ? I m looking forward to buy one of these turbos
@hectormeza4233 You can expect to maintain the same MPG you are currently getting with type of setup.

The reliability of the turbo is top-notch. As for towing heavy, we do not recommend exceeding GVWR.
