Great video best I've ever seen on TH-cam. Original owner of a 91 XR250L and it's going to need some engine/clutch work soon. It's true regarding parts in that Honda and third party sources are rare. Can't really understand it as I read that the RFVC engine was one of the most produced by Honda ever. Great camera work 👍 and thanks for all the tips and tricks.
Good job, runs great again!, one thing though the cambearing on the right side (camgear) is mounted the wrong way, it has one closed side and this should face the outside! Lubrication of the bearing... ✌
awesome vid i finished up my 95 xr250 build. i’ve had some problems with the kick starter lever not returning very well since day one. also make sure that you put the dowel pin on that moves oil from the side cover to the crank. Like everyone says, parts are hard to find but I plan on keeping my bike for a long time.
one time, a lock nut for one of my valve tappers FELL OFF and dropped into the side cover in my engine. i rode it a few miles back home and it turned out the spark generator’s magnet COUGHT THE NUT.
Been watching your videos recently since I have a Honda XL 185 I’ll be fixing up soon… can you or any one where share with me a website where I can get most the parts I need? TY
@@RaymoreRepair will you do work for others? I have a 93xr250l that needs the same work minus the clutch disc? I’m in the KC area. Great video!! Loved the details! Thanks!
I was wondering if you are in raymore, Missouri. I am in peculiar and have a four-wheeler I would like for you to work on. I'm not for sure how to get a hold of you. Thanks. Great videos
Bravo !! Good job !
Every motorbike rider needs you at the end of their street. Great entertainment and very informative.

Can I ask why did you go with the metal cam cover gasket instead of the paper one? I am currently rebuilding my bike and I would like to know. Thanks!

The R designation was for off-road racing. They made a XR400R, XR600R and a few others. Thanks for watching.
