As a brand new guy in this business, thank you for these videos and the comments. I'm learning so much and becoming more confident when getting jobs. Thank all of you
This is my second year in the business and I'm still learning. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and experience to help us stay safe, do a good job and GET PAID.
Thanks for touching on safety! Clearly you know what you are doing in this area. The only addition I would make (and its beyond the scope of this video) Harnesses and tie offs. None the less very good info!
Bruh........this video answered 90% of my roof wash questions.......You have no idea how many pieces just came together right now. Much respect for putting us on and setting us up for success!
Great vid! Funny story about ladder safety...I carried my big ladder alllllll the way down the hill and right before I put it in the shed I got tripped up by the rope that extends ladder and proceeded to fall ONTO the ladder!!!
Thanks for the video. I’m thinking the perfect setup would be a nice soft wash 12 volt with manifold, AR45 for those big roof jobs and an 8 gallon for downstream and rinsing.. I’m not sure about tank size. I’d get a flow valve so I could refill but there must be a sweet spot. I’m also torn on a skid or a trailer…. I’d like to get a skid because I already have a nice pickup with a 6 1/2’ bed and I know that would be convenient but I also realize a trailer or good size flatbed could hold it all. Tough decisions
I just did a Timelapse video of my second roof wash ever. I’m about to post it on this TH-cam channel but dang I wish I watched this video prior to this job. I learned a lot from this video. Thank you so much I appreciate the time and effort into your editing and different angles!
Very simple and helpful I just started a pressure washing biz but am learning all about soft wash which is definitely the direction I’m going - I want the big jobs !
helluva video my man, i'm a newbie in this game and this was some help Bro.. u seem pretty down to earth i would be grateful to learn as much as i can from you..

I'm looking at starting up my own business..this was very informative...im leaving a job pressure washing ag equipment for John deere...im clueless about the soft wash and residential side so very helpful
Hi loved thr video, quick question I have the same exact Proportioner what setting did you put the Surfactant on when doing that roof? You said you had it turned up did you have full strength number 5? Thanks Bart
I would have to guess it helps the plants to water them down first in case they get any of that chemical on them. Not to mention the gutters will catch the run off. You’ll want to clean them out first
Great video! I am newer to the industry and learning alot about proper roof washing...encountering alot of straight up moss....tune it up to 6% ? I was on about 4.5% and I'm wondering if it needed a bit more 🔥
in the case of run off going down the gutters what do you use to collect the product so it doesnt burn up plants grass etc when it comes out the downpipes? as of rn ive been using heavy duty trash bags and tieing them up around the down pipes to catch the product, its a pain was wondering if any one has another idea.. my company i work for we work solo routes just tryna find a easier way so im not getting on and off the roof as much.
9:06 ya thats one of those things you have to learn the hard way . And man when you do , you learn lol. Your lungs do not like SH. I need to wear mine more often. I almost always do on a roof wash . Especially when its hot .
My 12v systems seems so weak compared to your spray. I am running 5.5GPM pump with 200' of 1/2" softwash hose. All of the inner plumbings are 3/4 ID tubing. Should I upgrade my pump and increase softwash hose to 5/8"???
I need further instruction. We just have a small pressure washer. Tell me how much sodium hypochlorite (12 1/2%) and southern draw do I use to make a gallon or two of cleaner? And do you add anything else? Water? Or just a mixture of SC and SD?
I’m just starting out can someone please recommend to me the exact equipment I’d need please? From start to finish (I don’t plan on starting on massive buildings or anything like that… but there may be some nice size houses and properties…. Any help would be extremely appreciated!! 😅thank you so so much!!!
Hey bud, thanks for the knowledge on roof washing,! So I don’t need to be rinsing after it sits ? Hoping to get my rig setup like that one day, just Starting out so big motivation from you. Thanks again

Just started a pressure washing business and have been asked to quote my local shopping center to clean their PVC shade sails in the car park. They are pretty big. Excellent video, bro!!
Thank you.
Thank you man
Bad ass, makes perfect sense
How do you clean the gutters on very steep roof sections? Do you move the ladder? Or use a extending pole to scoop the leaves out?
How much of surfactant did you use? What was the size of that roof?
Why would you wash the house first and then the roof? You’ll have all that dirty water dripping back on the siding. Or am I thinking wrong?
Gutters...
I would have to guess it helps the plants to water them down first in case they get any of that chemical on them. Not to mention the gutters will catch the run off. You’ll want to clean them out first
Exactly to not damage the plants
That’s what gutters are for
I said the same thing. Work your way down

I’m pretty sure I have passed you in the Myrtle area! I’m working my way to a Southeast Soft Wash system.
What about painting that roof, how would it be done ? Can’t think of a safe and efficient way…
What are you using the spray the chemicals? What’s on the end of the hose to allow you to spray? God bless❤️
How do you know when to rinse the roof off vs leaving the chemical on there? Or do you always leave it. Thanks
