I don't understand it getting that light in the front. We used to pull loaded Chevy C60's with five yard gravel beds down the highway with C30 wreckers. They got a little light in the front but not so light they weren't safe to drive.
Ya I definitely wouldn’t take it down the road with that 5 ton on the back lol but I only plan on using it around my farm.. I do have a bigger wrecker for that .. thanks for watching
Look at the distance between the center of the rear axle, to the tailboard where the towbar mounts. Way too much. Somebody did a bad design. Tailboard should be be as close to the rear spring hangers as possible

@Brokeandtwistedgarage I see. Someone must have changed the front end at some point? The reason I asked about the engine is becouse that grill was only on the 76 & 77 pickups but the last yr for the FE enfine was 76. So usually if u see that grill & tge engine is a FE its a 76. But the 351m & the 400 were first started in the pickups in 77. So obviously that grill and a 335 series engine will pin point what year spacificly. But you also find ones that are of the multi variety of yrs becouse they are 50 yrs old now. Alot of time for someone to switch stuff around.
I love that ford
😉 thats a sweet '64......
That white tow truck is such a dog! i love it
