I will be honest I have never been a huge fan of that Dodge pickup style but in the same note on a 3ton 4x4 it could not fit it better! Looks great,mean and tough. I am waiting to see the rims painted white and 6x 42.5" 11r20 military tires on it. That is whats going to set it off! Watching you boys old truck videos makes me want a old 1/2ton to cruise. My fist pick would be a 48 Studebaker pickup I think they are the nicest looking pickup made but rare and big money. I also like 65-66 Ford/Merc and 1967 IHC pickup body style. I think I will find a 67 IHC 1/2ton. I have a 65 Buick 401 nailheadand a 4spd that would be a neat old setup. I have been playing with cars for the past 20 years because I found out there way easier to make fast but I have a soft spot for old trucks since I was a baby. We must be wired wrong to enjoy old plain farm trucks over $200k cars but thats fine by me. Out of all my cars nothing puts a smile on face like grabbing gears in my 72 f350 300 six by the farm with my bulldog on a nice day with the windows down. Its weird but its true. I just gave that truck to my buddy Mike to build a car hauler out of. Its going to look awesome fixed up hauling his Studebaker to the track. I never used it anymore and it needed the deck redone so instead of selling it I gave it to him because he will fix it up nice and I will still get to see it and thats worth more to me than a couple bucks. We are going to build the 300 six, refresh everything, Isky cam, 240 head, chevy 6cyl rockers, efi exhaust manifolds, and adapt/cut up a factory 1 barrel intake to allow a 2 barrel off a 400m or 390. Our goal is 200hp 400 ft lbs. Should pull like a stock 1st gen 12 valve its going to be a low rpm torque/ mileage type build. Since its a 65-72 300 six there factory rated at 170hp 300ft lbs so I think buy swaping on a 240 head it will be 9.5:1, 2x 3=1 manifolds, 2 barrel carb, Isky Mile-a-more cam, chevy rockers it should be a big improvement and meet our goal. Looking forward to your build man. Nolan.

No it’s a nv5600.. the clutch broke a couple springs 2 years ago, and I’ve been limping it around since … it’s been a matter of time.. it’s just getting weaker lol

Hell, a old Cat D5 would make short work of those trees amd brush. But that case tractor did the job spectacularly well.
Oh forsure, I had planned on using my td9 international , but Steve already had the tractor there🤷♂️ worked out good in the end

That motor needs to break free, and i really want it to. Heating the cylinders will be a way to go and maybe have someone else with you to break the motor free will make a difference ad well.

If they started logging heavy there would not be all this great lumber going up in smoke, It would make jobs, bring in cash, way less fires, and crooked junk boards at home depot would not cost you $3k to build a shed. You and me have to pay heavy tax for carbon tax to stay alive but I dont see tree huggers locking themself up to trees that are about to burn which is to bad. The smoke in one day must be worse than driving or heating a house for a year. But about the truck prime the oil pump real good and dont just drag it rock it forward and back so the motor spins both ways this is a must. She will snap something if you just go one way for sure. Those motors only have 3 mains. Is yours a 255 or 239? I would clean up and put vinegar down the holes it will eat the rust from rings and cylinder. Then clean up any vinegar and use atf and acetone 50/50 and keep it bathed in that then rock her Barb.

Great way to free em up, and ya forsure I would be rocking it forward and backward .. def wouldn’t wanna snap something.. and I couldn’t agree more about the nonsense hypocrisy of our government , trying to pressure everyone to change into ev cars , which we both know would be useless half the year in our province … but at the same time have been dozens of political arsonists caught lighting the fires to promote climate change , which it causing more smoke than anything else , not to mention ruining peoples lives and homes , and buisness’s … we’re living in wild times brother … it’s a clown world forsure ..
I soak cylinders like that in cleaning vinegar first then acetone and atf 50/50 mix. Filling the water jackets up with the hottest water you can also helps it expand and free up.

I have a ford tractor rusted up like this is took me most of last summer working on it a hour or 2 every couple of days literally went through every type of rust breaker possible over that time the best thing i found id just keep at it cycling back and forth between the different types of penetrants and one day it will pop free. i was lucky enough to find a way to use the loader chained down and a bottle jack to work like a press and that's finally how i got mine it has an automatic tranny so no way to pull it around and dump a clutch when i popped free it went from tdc to bdc instantly though :)
