    I bought this machine and I have to say i love it. I have 3 dogs and this worked really well to clean. What I noticed with the color change is if you are pulling the machine to fast it doesn't pick up and change to red for the heavier traffic areas. My water was pretty dirty and going over the area's it showed red got it all cleaned up. It would be nice if the water tank was bigger, but over all a good machine for me.

    If you roll the the cord in the opposit direction the plug will hang down it will hold with the little clamp.
    Saw it on another video...

    Who makes the s5 pro?
    I like that all the tineco have the same specs between the iCarpet, the carpet one and the pro model w/ The differences being technology versus no technology or LCD versus LED. The iCarpet isn’t fancy like the carpet one - but it’s $399. For a product where the smart technology doesn’t work all the time I’m wondering if the icarpet would be the better model to go with. I’m looking to remove pet urine stains and old stains, shampoo and dry - powerful suction.
    I’m curious about the other models you like more than this. my neighbor has a Bissell Proheat and loves it. I don’t know the type of suction it gets compared to this however I have seen her carpet after she’s cleaned it with that and it seems like it does a good job.
    I’ve owned Bissell spot cleaner products in the past for my pets and while I think they clean well they don’t have powerful suction. I ended up getting a rug doctor pet spot cleaner that does a good job and has the most powerful suction of any spot cleaner device on the market however I can’t do the whole rug with it :(. I am looking for a vacuum that will allow me to have the same cleaning strength as the rug doctor that I own if not better so I need superior suction and cleaning power.
    I forgot to ask but do you have to clean it after each use?

      It’s a Tineco product, I haven’t had any other brand but really like this one! It does need to be cleaned out after every use or it will smell. But the cleaning is very easy.

      Did you get anything new? I need something for my cats oh no spots. Bissell is what everyone says but the it doesn't have the best suction.

      @@jessicas4295 I ended up going with the rug doctor for my pet messes. It’s actually the best one suction wise because nothing is as strong as it on the market. I use it with woolite oxy spray that you can get from Lowe’s. it cleans stains in 30 seconds, but sometimes I think it cleans it instantly. I guess it depends on the severity of the stain.

      @@lostintheclouds8719 did you watch a video to make you pick that?
      I have an amazing cleaner that doesn't need to be washed out already, just needs to be vacuumed once dried. It's amazing on old and new stains/pet marks. Like it took years of pee marks out from my cars 😂 but I definitely need something to was newer marks those really bad marks.

      @@jessicas4295 I watched tons of videos on both the rug doctor and the bissell pet clean pro. I bought both of them from Amazon and I used both for 2 wks test period.
      I honestly like that the bissell handle is easier to grab and clean with but it soaks your carpet and leaves it wet. I went over slowly for 30mins and it was still wet to the touch. Pet stain didn’t fully lift either prob b/c of lack of suction. The formula that comes with the Bissell smells OK but as you clean, it kicks out kind of a stinky smell but it’s not as stinky as other units. I tried it with nature’s miracle spray and that one smelled better. But this unit does not suck up the liquid at all - not fully.
      Did the same test w/ rug doctor, it’s harder to get your hand around this handle b/c it seems like it’s made for big hand ppl. I still am able to clean and I’m not big handed. It didn’t take me 30 min to lift the stain though. It took me maybe 1-5min depending severity of stain. It also leaves your carpet feeling dry to the touch. I used the liquid that comes with this unit and it smells OK but I think the Bissell liquid smells better. This machine as you clean kicks out a wicked smell if you use the liquid that comes with it. However if you use nature’s miracle or the woolite oxy formula, it smells way better.
      On a sidenote I also did a trial w/ both machines where I cleaned one spot with the Bissell and another spot right next to it with the rug dr. I used the liquid that came with each unit. So that day I sprayed and used each unit on their spot and of course the rug doctor lifted the stain and the carpet was dry to the touch, but the Bissell one was still wet. So I let a week go by, after that week, I came back to check each spot. The rug doctor spot was still dry - I even checked with the rug doctor machine to see if it sucked up anything and it didn’t b/c it was dry (as it was dry the day I sprayed and sucked it up).
      HOWEVER, on the bissell spot after a wk, that spot was still very wet. I used the Bissell machine to go suck it up and it still had tons of liquid coming out! Tons, like I had never sucked up much to begin with on the first day. So seeing this result I took the rug doctor to the Bissell spot and I used the rug doctor to suck up the rest of the liquid. the rug doctor sucked it up in about two minutes to where it was dry to the touch.
      I ended up returning the Bissell unit and I kept the rug doctor unit. yes it’s uncomfortable to use if you have small hands however I have made it work because there is nothing as strong as this unit on the market whatsoever.

    For 500 it doesn’t seem worth it :/ Thank you for the honest review. And I think I’m going to buy the vax platinum power wash, which is a fraction of the price.

    Is it easy to clean? I have the S3 floor mop and it takes about 5 minutes to clean when finished.

    • @TheHappyHootie
      @TheHappyHootie  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Takes longer than My S5 Pro but cleaning was not horrible. About on par with other carpet cleaners.

    Have you ever used a solution besides Tineco in this machine?

    • @TheHappyHootie
      @TheHappyHootie  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes. Vinegar water works as a weak cheap solution or a light mix of other cleaners. Be aware that it may foam up more so it would require you to empty more often.

    Did you ever find a carpet cleaner you liked yet

    • @TheHappyHootie
      @TheHappyHootie  ปีที่แล้ว

      For the whole house… no. But we don’t have “that much” carpet as most of our floors are hard floors. I DID…. Find a good solution for us and that is the bissell spot clean pro. It lets us clean small areas. Amazing on stairs and furniture as it is not bulky. We were waiting for a bit to put together a long term review to make sure it holds up but seems to be well built

      We do not have much carpet either. Was also thinking about the bissell .it seems to get good reviews. Got a tineco pro on order for all my hard floors

    No self cleaning mode on this??

    • @TheHappyHootie
      @TheHappyHootie  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      There is a self cleaning mode but you will still have to clean/empty the tank, then rinse the brush and cover when its done. It doesn't take long and is a simple process.

    So you did a demonstration on an already clean carpet, then your gonna say you’re disappointed.

      our carpet is in no way clean... lol... with 3 kids and 2 dogs we typically have it cleaned professionally once per year. We had not done it in a while so tried this machine. Granted... we could have been the ones that got a "defective unit" but even so I can not give it a good review due to that. I will mention that the customer service is less than helpful. Yes... we did finally get a refund for the unit but it took several emails, calls, complaints, and about a month to get it done. It was like pulling teeth. I LOVE our S5 from the same company... but this unit (and their customer service) need some work.

      I cleaned my area rugs because the dogs had made a mess in a couple areas on one of them and I had black water in both a couple washes I wasn’t expecting that much as we only had our area rugs a couple months for one and about a month maybe Two for the other one that they’d messed on. We do have 6 dogs and two cats and recently had artificial turf put in our yard that previously had dirt so I’m assuming they tracked that in on our carpets.…
