Put this on and left it running while I cleaned the pool to help with the TH-cam stats. Also hereby commented and clicked like....your welcome :) I did see the last 5 min where you tested everything. Looking good.
Brilliant video. Wiring is one job I've never tackled but your explanations and tips are excellent. I need to do this if I'm going to complete my XJR1300 rebuild. Thank you and keep up the great content 💯
When forced to join dissimilar wires (red/white joins black/blue) and there is some distance (headlight to tail lamp) between the join location and the equipment being served I cut 3mm lengths of heat shrink in black and blue and shrink it on every 75 to 100 mm so the identification is maintained
Saved this one invaluable since I have no idea on wiring so will be looking at any other tips in your past vids much appreciated Shoogly from a pile of bolts to a bike I hope or not with any luck 😂cheers👍
Not easy to to film re wiring and keeping the punters interested but you did it. I am interested as to how the replacement speedo and rev counter was installed into the electric system. My bike is standard as from new.👍
Honda super dream wiring harnesses used to be brilliant for custom builds. The ignition circuit was self exciting and totally separate from the main loom apart from the ignition kill wire. It was a complete pre-wired system with good quality connectors, switchgear etc and one of the strongest voltage regulators ever. Drop it on complete wire up the coil circuit and off you went.
about to do the same on the CB650, but i've made a drawing.... doing it on the fly would no doubt require your attendance in your professional capacity 🚒
Interesting. I liked the heatshrink connections. Your crimps are very impressive. And I wish I had those de-pinning tools 20 years ago 😂

That definitely sounds ideal!
Looking good mate 👌
Great channel, good work

Haha! That's what fuses are for! 😂
Never thought heat gun would be enough to melt solder.
Oh plenty!
Nice one Euan its so close now mate, what gauge of wiring are you using ?
19AWG for most of it. If there was an electric start function, some cables would be 8AWG 👍🏻
@@ShooglyShedMotors cheers for the reply mate
