I'm playing through the first nexomon right now and I love it. Pretty soon I'm going to get nexomon extinction and I know I'm going to love that one even more lol
Thanks for the update, development takes a while, especially for a team switching from 2D to 3D. I hope I like what they come up with this time and look forward to seeing it come together in the future.
The jump from a pretty basic 2D turnbased RPG to full 3D open world is quite a jump. This is very likely the most complex game the devs have ever made so that explains why this game is taking longer to make than previous entries. I skipped the previous Games in this series because they don't have the depth I'm looking for. Hopefully this game is more to my taste.
Also with that jump pretty sure it will take some time 2-3 year dev at bare minimum. Hope the story will stay alone and can be enjoy even for new comer.
@@keylo615200 hours in the latest game: it’s really not complex. No move variety, limited move pool, non attacking moves are even more limited and besides a couple actually useful ones absolute trash
i am currently going through both versions of Nexomon 1 for the Playstaton 4 & 5, doing a sort of Professor Oak's challenge where I get all the Nexomon I can before each boss, and it's a fun time earning the trophies. I certainly can't wait for Nexomon 3. :)
I have been so busy trying to keep up with college (thankfully at finals) and other spring things going on (Mothers day already?!) That I haven't had much game time. Looking forward to picking this series back up in a week - Nexomon 3 looks great just from the little bit we're being shown here, so can't wait to see more of it. ❤❤ Thanks for the update!
Feel like a kid on a drive to an amusement park. Are we there yet?Are we there yet?Are we there yet??!! Looking forward to this and hope they fixed the progression problem from Extinction. Where once you reach a certain point in the story, ALL nexomon are now at higher levels, which made it VERY hard to want to go back to play. I enjoy playing a game and grinding a bit, but not to the point where I have to find every type possible in one area and then spend time raising everyone to a specific level before progressing.
Its great that the developers are still working on Nexomon 3. I'd love to join their Discord server, but its likely private. Thank you for the update, Ed.
@@nookussy I mean the screenshots and trailer are early in design I am sure it will be updated once we get a gameplay trailer and it wouldn't look like a Beta.
For some reason i thought extinction was a prequel but nope direct sequel I just beat the game for the first time yesterday I'll play the first game next I played the demo of these games a few years back its nice to know a 3rd game is in development
nooo i realy hoped that nexomon 3 was gonna be 2d but my hopes is shattered when i saw that its gonna be 3d and im in mobile so theres a big chance that i cant play it or even if i did it will still lag because of the graphics😢
I feel like its gonna take a while because its 3d with way better graphics and it took them a lot of time to make nexomon extinction so yeah that's what i think
I still think that going for 3D and doing open world was a stupid idea. They should first focus on doing good level design and then thinking about expanding.
I think the main problem with changing to 3d is that a lot of the appeal of nexomon was aimed at fans of pokemon gens 1-5 and when it begins to look like modern pokemon it loses that 2d old school charm
@@finbob3868tbh...nexomon 1 and 2 looks generic af and has this generic mobile game charme (what it first even was). What made both games, but especially the second one so great is the story and the writing. For me the music was pretty awesome too. And that's things which could be brought to 3D easily.
Tbh partial agree. However you gotta keep in mind people get bored and annoyed of games that don't evolve enough. In this case look at Kirby or hell even Nexomon. Nexomon Extinction had a lot of people already getting a bit bored of the 2d formula. I think they should've either made a 2d open world (Extinction was kinda close but you were locked out of like 50% of the areas till you progressed the game far enough) or a 3d linear game. Jumping from 2d linear to 3d open world is a MASSIVE step and tends to be the downfall for some of these games.
@@wintereclipse3263 I agree, not evolving enough is most times the problem of a sequel. But changing the graphics to one that's harder to work on and going for a genre that they're not used too isn't evolution, it's shooting your feet.
I'm still disappointed the game will be in 3D. My laptop might not be able to run it depending on the RAM requirements. I certainly couldn't run Palworld, but i never cared about that one.
You can buy a new ram.... check your laptop what kind of upgrade ram it can get. Most likely your laptop have 1 or 2 slots. Ram is very cheap now you don't have excuses to not get a better one. Installing it yourself is very easy. I buy myself a new ram for my gaming laptop. I was surprised how cheap it is just 41.99$ for a 16ram now my laptop got 32 ram plenty of space You just need 8 ram for most games these days
When the new Pokemon game release in 2025. So this wouldn‘t a good release date for Nexomon 3. röthe best release date for N3 would be late 2024 or months bevor the new Pokemon comes.
I'll be honest when I started getting into new indie monster tamer games, I got the first Nexomon but bounced off it. I couldn't get over how ugly it was (well, it was a mobile game first, right?). Even if the second game is better and even if the third one will be better again, I doubt I'd come back to the series when I have limited time and other games that I enjoy
If the series isn't for you, then that's just fine. Play what you will enjoy! I'm just happy that there are now so many monster taming games out there that there are plenty to choose from so hopefully every fan of the genre will find something they will like.
Sad to say but that's normal for this franchise. It starts mobile+steam then a few years later launches on console. This case it probably won't be on mobile so it'd be steam then like 2-3 years later they'll do console.
I hope that things come along smoothly so we can see a great game. You’re the reason I got into Nexomon and can’t wait for more updates!!
I just beat Nexomon and Nexomon Extinction and they are so great I would 100% play a sequel. I hope the transition is smooth.
Well I beat it in 8 hrs with the psychic starter only 😎 miss those days 😔

Saying Nexomon has no depth shows you haven’t made it pass 2 hours of either game

The new monsters are looking really good. Glad they're taking their time making this thing!
Most of them look sh*t
Normally, these vids tend to happen for games I do worry about, but tbh, I wasn't expecting it to be out yet.
With the devs making the jump from 2D to 3D, I am perfectly fine w/ them taking all the time they need.

I'm also waiting for nexomon 3 to come in 2025 and I hope as soon as possible
Switch 2 launch title would be sick!
Yeah it would! I would buy it right away!
The use of the Pokemon Coliseum music absolutely slaps.
the title had me worried it wasnt coming anymore, you cant be doing that to me ed!.... my heart!
You definitely got me into nexomon and I do not regret it at all lol
Hopefully we'll get a trailer in the upcoming Nintendo direct
I was just going through some Nexomon Extinction designs. Snaijet might be my favorite along with being my MVP.
I’m hopeful JV will give us something when it’s the announcement anniversary
I cannot fking wai for this shit ❤
One thing I’ve noticed about this game company is that they like to surprise us
This is just something that is going to take some time.
As long as they take as much time on it I am good I just would like to see Gameplay and the Starters.

I hope it would not be the same as evocreo 2 :,-)
I wish they would bring back Micromon 🙃
So long away

This is too ambitious probably they encountered quite a lot of problem honestly I'm okay if they stick to 2d
