I love small rig and I love the phone cages. The only thing they should do is protect the back of the phone a little bit better. I dropped my keys one day and had to buy a new 13 because the glass on the back broke otherwise great product.
Good point, some protection for the back of the phone would be great, a MagSafe plate or similar.
One thing I really dislike that you can't use SSD and Sound same time
I use an iphone 15 Pro Max and a Sandmarc case to attach a Sandmarc variable ND filter and a CPL filter. You mentioned an adaptor plate for this SmallRig cage to attach Sandmarc screw on filters.

Is there a way to use Anamorphic and ND filter at the same time?
Should we use ND filter on anamorphic if we use it on a bright sunny day?
There is no way to use an ND filter with any of the anamorphic lenses shown in this video.

oh yeah and can you stack smallrig ND on top of the mist filter that you showed? i heard these are all stackable but you just cant stack anything on top of the VND. cheers!
Yes, these are stackable but since the VND has a larger diameter it needs to be on top.
Does it work even if I connect an SSD to a SmallRig USB-C to C connector?
Unfortunately, no, the USB-C to C connector from SmallRig is just for audio pass through.
When you install the lens bracket can you lock it all the way? When I turn mine to where it says lock it does not align with the cameras. It is almost like you need to turn it about 2/3 of the way. Is that normal?
That is true for the filter mount.
how many accessories can you attach there? I need to attach SSD, battery, mic and a usb-c 4 port adapter
There are multiple attachment points around the cage and another cold shoe on the handles. SmallRig will likely have mounts that will help you attach all of those.
you might be able to stack them all on top of each other to the back of the camera using mag safe stickers too

@@jelleclaw Pretty sure since I’ve done it; the ND will always need to be the last (top) filter in the stack for obvious reasons. I do plan on making a video of my setup and I’ll keep your feedback in mind.
