Bull terriers are such beautiful dogs. Izzy is so sweet, she makes me want to give her a big hug. I wish her and Lisa many happy and healthy years together.
I used to see bull terriers everywhere when I was a kid, now they are pretty rare to be seen. I’d loved to have a bull terrier as the family dog.. they are so cute
@@jcsydney4763 Bull Terriers are very cute I never had one before but I had other types of dogs like Rottweilers but I love all dogs even Bull Terriers
I’m glad she said about not trying this at home. My fear is that videos of veterinary procedures sometimes tempt people to try to save $ and DIY. Not when it’s a life and death thing, you guys!
You‘d think. But as an owner of a boxer with a sensitive stomach I know that dogs will eat things that are bad for them even after they recover because mine does that. 😅The only thing they’re good at in that regard is that they‘ll stop eating until their stomach isn’t upset anymore😅
This is why you never leave rat bait on the floor or even in a closet on the floor. You always put it on a high shelf because not only dogs and cats have eaten it but children as well thinking it was some type of sweet smelling candy.
The dog eats rat bait and everyone freaks out and rushes her to the vet, as one should. However, the same exact thing happens to the rats and no one sheds a tear. I understand if someone doesn’t want the rats around, perhaps there is a better way of getting rid of them besides poisoning them. But also, having dogs whom a lot will eat anything remotely edible like mine, I would never keep any of that stuff in my house or yard just don’t want to risk it. I’m so glad she got her dog to the vet so quickly, I’ve seen dogs that don’t make it so quick and it’s absolutely heartbreaking seeing what they go through if caught too late.
Dogs have a habit of putting their mouth into everything. My dog once tried to catch a toad and started to froth frantically. Had to rinse her mouth to get all the poison out🥺
Yeah frogs have poisonous skin. To deter predators. The worst are the cane toads in Australia. Not an indigenous species, they were introduced to try and combat a bug problem. Worked beautifully for awhile. Cane toads have no predators there. Skin so toxic that a gator will spit em out immediately if accidentally ingested. Now they’re taking over the place. Aussies be like, Oi!
@@cherylholub3100 yes you're absolutely right it's not the dogs fault it's the most likely is the owners and she needs to be more responsible as an owner not just an owner like a mother I've been a cat owner before and a dog owner in fact
On a different tack- why buy rat bait? Rats are very intelligent and the families are kept in check by the mum. I watched them many years ago in Calcutta. So why do you want to buy something that induces such a horrendous death. A karmic warning.
Curious...Wouldn't you also use activated charcoal to make sure it's all out of her system as well?? That was alot of rat poison. YIKES!!! Note to furbaby parents...NEVER even for a second leave rat poison or anything toxic out of your sight...much like small children..if it looks like candy/food...they are gonna put it in their mouths...in a split second....

Thank god the poor doggo is safe
Yea
I love it whenever I find comments saying the animal survived because then I don’t have to worry. :)
Poor izzy glad she is ok 🐶
Give that dog hugs and kisses and keep the rat bait out of reach.
You got that one right she should keep that Out Of Reach of dogs and cats for that matter
Omg I just saw this pop up and I’m gonna cry Save Izzy
Terrian hospital you saved so many poison dogs. I don’t know how I don’t know how you guys are amazing
They are beautiful little ,noble looking, compact animals.

Rats may scare people but they do nothing wrong😢
I hope she's learned her lesson.

Honestly just don’t use it at all. It’s dangerous to basically everyone, and cruel to boot.
Just don’t use it. It’s very inhumane and there are better methods to use that aren’t so cruel.
I'm so happy she is ok 🙂

Bless the rodents. There are humane control strategies and much of it involves changing human behavior.
Glad Izzy is ok. She is so precious.🦴🐾🦴🐾Thank you to the Vets and Nurses who saved her life. God Bless you all. 🤗🕊️

A dog named Cliff also ate rat bait in a bondi vet episode
Poor little thing I hope she learns her lesson geez
The owner has to learn her lesson. You prevent these things from happening. She needs to be a more responsible owner.

That happened to my little dog Nitro😢😢😢
It’s very important to keep harmful substances out of pets reach
And that is why you should not have any rat bat ever in your house 🏠 just to be on the safe side...
I feel so bad 😢😢
What is the name of this pill that you rubbed on his gums to induce vomiting?
I hope Izzy doesn't eat any more poison
Rat bait is horrible not just for rodents but for any animal that eats it - birds of prey, snakes, anything that eats rodent corpses dies

What does possion mean?
Poison is a dangerous substance ingested by something that can be very fatal.
Poison is eating something you shouldn't
@@danalnajes on thank u
a substance that harms you if it gets into your body. some poisons can be deadly.
It’s a horrid way for any animal to go, to bleed uncontrollably until death.
So they ONLY induced vomiting? No intralipid solution or vitamin K injection?
I'm guessing that's what the "antidote" they mentioned was
Hi
Train your Dog not to eat any food you don't give her, sausage skins with a small amounts of tabasco works for dogs
Thank you Romans 10:9-13
🤔 What is that thing
I’m sorry but who would but rat poison then when you have animals and have it anywhere that is not locked away where your animal
Can you post about a hamster the next time you get one in plz
Hamsters are not allowed in Australia but they did show one when Chris went to China.
You cant use poisons around animals or pets.

Vit K injections coming up.
Die arme Töle. Rattengift sollte man möglich nicht verwenden, da auch andere Tiere gefährdet werden können
Hmmm /: thats a weird dog if ive ever seen one!
his/her head is like a bow and its very weird for me
You really need to learn the difference between different and weird.
I have a pet so I think I'll put rat poison in my garden. This is a woman who should NOT be a pet owner.
Hello im strawberry crepe im just looking how bondi vet is doing and i just wanted to say is tht it was just a joke…
Why is that woman poisoning rats. How cruel. There are other means for rat control.
These videos are not real but she really vomitted.

Yes it is real. Imagine if your dog was featured in the video? Then you’ll see that they are real
