My friend's dad died when he was 10 and this song was played at his funeral. I remember the moment I cried and the whole memory came flooding back. I love this cover so much. This song means so much to me.

Gerald Chevin, a friend of mine was engineer on the original recording of this. He used to fondly recall the sessions when this was recorded. Sadly he died earlier this year.

One of my favorite songs. You definitely did it justice. The good surprise was to hear that the singer can actually sing, which is not always the case on TH-cam covers.

At high school dances this song was ALWAYS requested!!! I played every instrument for a standard rock band. Now fully retired, with a collection of 243 instruments. I have two leslies that I built myself from buying parts I also make violins, harps, and steel guitars. I jam EVERY DAY on it at least 10 to 15 different instruments! WSP is my absolute fav song!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You guys really mounted up on this one, and enjoyed every single note!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It brings back memories from the 60's and 70's.

As great as the instrumental track is, the lyrics are sheer poetry, some of the best of that era, and Len does a great job of bringing them out in this performance.

There was a time when I listen to Moody Blues’ Nights in White Satin, or Procol Harum’s A Whiter Shade of Pale, the songs invariably take me back to midst 60s when me and my wife as young couple arrived in New York as wide-eyed immigrants. Unlike Pilgrims who landed on Plymouth Rock, we landed at a triangle near Times Building on Broadway and 42nd Street, making New York home.
Now, me approaching 90 and after losing my wife in 2019, these songs bring tears to my eyes, and a feeling of inexorable rush of time.
So glad you liked.... This is a timeless song... and it brings back memories of loved ones and places we've been with them...
