You are the only performer i lnow that would play a Procol Harum song. To me they were an enegmatic group of musicians that had an other wordly sound. To those who don't know them do a search on you tube to get their experience. Great job Dovy !!!

Sort of sounds like it. Procol Harem basically exists because of one song. It happens to a lot of groups. The first song they put out is so good nobody wants to hear anything else by the group. A hit record can be a curse rather than a blessing.
Not with Procol Harum. They have a lot of great tracks and full albums to listen to...=)
Nah, they may have on had 2 songs that got airplay (the other was Conquistador), but they, along with Yes, Emerson Lake and Palmer, King Crimson, Genesis, Pink Floyd (more Space Rock), and others were massively popular among Progressive Rock fans.
No no Procol Harum are wonderful I've more than 120 of their songs ,I understand the basis of your comments as they should have been appreciated much more

I don't know what he's playing, but it certainly isn't Procol Harum's signature song. It was more of a free-form noodling session, kicked off with a (sort of) reference to Pachelbel's Canon in D?
But, he's a friendly, easy-going guy. And that's cool...
