The trick is to keep the gain on any amp as low and control the bass by the eadio

My radio is stock. About to install a single 12, ported box. The equalizer has three levels. Lows mids highs.
Can I run them at flats, or the lows at half? Will the sub woofer still have bass?
When I turn up the bass my door speakers sound muddy ( they’re good sound quality, just can’t handle bass )

One word of warning about subwoofers, crank it up too high, and then you’ll hear and feel powerful vibrations that distort the sound of your music

depends on how much airspace you have and how much power you push to it but if it’s a smaller airspace a single 15 will hit super good but for a big airspace two 12s will push enough air to make it hit really good
