Believe me everyone, it doesn't matter what size the subs are. It's whats in the motor, coil, and how good the box is. Try a single Sundown ZV5 10" with the right amp and box vs a Kicker 18 with the right amp and box. The ZV5 will be way louder because it's more powerful and take more power.
I feel your pain with that PAC module. I just installed an aftermarket stereo yesterday and the part that took the longest was getting that module and all the extra wires tucked back to fit my stereo back in.
I have a question. I have 2 12 inch skars inside of a dual 12 skar ported subbox. Should I point the front of the subs to the front of the car, point them directly up, or point them towards the back like this guy did in his video. Thanks Edit: I have a 2014 cruze
Got 2x8 skars have box facing into the cabin on passenger side and have left back seat down . Creates a horn loaded effect once you crank it up and open windows. Also did sound deadening on doors and trunk.
Could you use that radio I know nothing about installing all I know is I have a 2011 Chevy Cruze and 12” subwoofers and I have no clue how to install anything but if you could help me that would be awesome

I had 2 12 inch terminators that dropped the rearview mirror in my Cruze and had to get a new latch assembly on the trunk because the subs destroyed it
not sure if this reply is still relevant, but drill a bolt in, sand it. Or in the Cruze you can use the bolt for the spare tire holder under the trunk liner.
That’s not loud... Your amp levels are all wrong. Turn your gain level back down. Matter of fact. All dials you turned to the right on the amp need to go back to the left. Bass should be at 0.
What year is the cruze? I'm car shopping rn was thinking about a cruze just need to know the year of that model so I can keep my eyes peeled for one like yours
I'm late but if you made a mistake get the 2012 1.8 non turbo they last longer and more reliable then the turbo versions from 2013+ just my 2cents I've only kept up with normal maintenance on mine and it's cheaper then my bmw lmao
Since he got a stock unit, pretty sure he used an rca line in converter. And depending on where he put it, it could be tapped in the back speakers or from the head unit. So if he did it from the front you should always run them on the opposite side from where you ran the power cable, so in this case the right side. If it’s in the back then it really don’t matter

Don't turn your bass up on your radio, that distorts the shit out of it. Its not powerful system so you may get away with it but that shit will blow subs quick.
I was thinking the comments were haters, but yeah. I have one 12 and it SHAKES the mirror, you have a dual setup and it doesn't even move, like at ALL. Something definitely isn't right.
I could care less as this is a old video of a car i don't even have, but just because it has 2 subs doesn't mean its using the full potential. Maybe your mirror is just clapped out lol
@@lmfscrew My mirror is quite fine actually. I've just never seen a dual 12 system not move a rearview mirror. If anything is "clapped" good sir, it's your inability to adequately tune an amp correctly.

Its cuz it has a pos pioneer amp thats probably only pushing 300rms....put a better amp and itll be alot better...i had one kicker comp d10 in my tacoma and with a 1200 watt old school crunch amp

Probably the pioneer amp nite put out 500rms max. Get a good kicker amp 750.1. Just trying to help
