I disagree with you on the point of free trade and free border neighbors. Trade with pakistan will benefit pakistan more than India. India will gain peanuts with trade with pakistan. Then poverty. 😅So latest world bank report shows that india has uplifted 400+ million people from poverty in last 5 years which more than pakistan population. And also why only India, will trading with other neighbors than india not help pakistan to decrease poverty. In today's word land trade is not everything, majority countries have coast through which they do trade, so can pakistan. Why only trading with india can help pakistan. They can increase trade with west.Then military spending, so despite having good relations with pakistan, India will never decrease its military spending rather will increase it as our main threat is china not pakistan. So forget about india spending all those billions on people.But it will help pakistan as they allot huge amounts for military. So over all in all scenario the main gainer is pakistan while India will be same as before ( or can get even worse)

My understanding of AK is that it can be a good borderless state between countries like the EU where free movement can take place without interfering in the countries' political and religious issues. While your intentions seem good. Practically, no change in the near future is possible till Pakistan has civilian control. It is not that politicians from Pak did not try like Sharif/Vajpayee and Sharif/Modi . But the Army or ISI has ensured that they spoil it with events like Kargil/Pathankot which is why the appetite for talks seem to be reducing in India day by day and twisting the arm for talks by promoting cross border terror is considered as no change in Pakistani intent by Indian stakeholder. Also, i heard an analyst say that during Musharraf years, they even tried to incentivise some people in Pak Military with Business interests but that too failed. Before India and Pak relations become friendlier , Pak needs be on the "same page". I liked your impartial research and views on the matter. But I want to point out a small misinformation, The map of so called 'Akhand Bharath' installed in the parliament of India is really the map of Maurya empire, unlike some handful of politicians say. Because if you closely look towards the south of India on that map, the southern region of India is not highlighted and there is a clear boundary, just like the actual boundary of Maurya empire (its available in internet and you can compare both). see 0:49
