You can look into 1921 mopla massacres of hindus in Kerala. That incident played a huge part in savarakars hindutva ideology. Gandhi was blind towards islmaic extremism in India thinking they will one day come to senses. But that never ahppened amd lead to the strengthening of hindutva.

There is a little bit difference in hinduism and hindutva. If Hinduism is Shree Ram, touching Ma Sita's feets, then hindutva is Shree Ram fighting with Ravan fo Ma Sita. If Hinduism is dancing Krishna, then hindutva is the Krishna in the Kurukshetra. If hinduism is the meditating Shiva, then hindutva means Shiva doing Tandav. There is no absolute non violence in hinduism. Even after knowing the story of Ramayan and Mahabharat, if still hindus say that hinduism teaches us to be kind, then they are a problem not hindutva.

Hinduism to me is a state of admiration for philosophical teachers. It is seeing God as a moral guide as someone who brings about a certain mindset. But this fails, because even though the mind is extremely important, it does govern the whole spiritual journey. The Spirit does and staying away from sin and drawing closer to the identity of God. The perfect introduction to a faith, is its founders inspiration and demonstration. Jesus Christ did this, by becoming a man Himself, and living the gospel Himself, and supporting people for all time. Himself.
So where did u get the Hindutva ideology, i follow it, and our SC follows it, Vivekananda followed it.

We are worshipers of Lord Ram as a personification of Sun God, 12 kala avtar (as sun passes through 12 Rashi in a year and finally a solar calendar completes)and Devi Sita as a personification of Mother Earth & Lord Krishna as a personification of Moon God,16 kala avtar ( as Moon passes through 16 phases in a fortnight and finally a lunar calendar completes) .Similarily, we worship Lord shiva as personification of time God and Durga Mata as personification of supreme cosmic energy & Lord Hanuman as power of wind, etc,etc God and Goddess. We are worshipers of our rivers, trees ,mountains & flora and fauna, as we value them in our ancient Prakrit Puja Dharma. Our present day Hindu Dharma is actually ancient Prakrit Puja Dharma, which has much more Indepth and hidden meanings, but unfortunately, our culture, traditions, heritage and ancient books and literature etc,etc have been destroyed many times during the course of time, by many many invaders.

Hinduism is not a religion it's a way of life. It's just teach to show gratitude towards everything that's add value in life and make your life good. Have you ever listen in any other religion who teaches worship Sun, Water, Air like a God. In Hinduism there is Surya devta, Vayu devta, Dharti mata etc so it's basically teach to love nature and be kindful towards animals and nature.

I've been listening to Shashis' enigmatic speeches for years and the only Pakistani I've seen him with is the interview he did with Dr Moeed Pirzada, who also gave Mr Tharoor a befitting tribute. The tragedy about the whole south asian conflict is it's portrayal as a religious conflict, and the worse thing about Pakistan is seeing the establishment reinforcing this destructive idea, relative to how India has always tried to downplay the religious element; up until recently that is. In Pakistan we ought to realise that we're not the only muslims in the world, I mean, after us, will the hindus then suddenly start picking on the central asian republics, Iran, the middle east???? The Pakistani army establishment have really take the people as phuddus and no one is taking that bs anymore. I live in Britain and although the Hindus here have their strong opinions from back home, as we do, we more or less realise that we are the same brown people, with similar endeavours and tastes, and it is shocking seeing the emerging conflict in south asia that has the potential to annihilate both people is being fed purely on seedy propaganda and exaggerations trumped up by a minority of extremists on both sides. A wide awakening is needed, and I thank you for playing a massive part in this.

Personally, from what I've read, Muslim history in the subcontinent has been distorted and bent according to colonial and more recently hindutva prejudices. Saying that, I admit Muslim history hasn't been all that rosey; as it is with all conquering civilisations, violence and domination is part and parcel of it, just as it was with the Sassanian empire and other dynasties, indeed. Since being a Pakistani, I can only assume why non-hindus would feel safe with hindutva, mainly because of muslims and Pakistan being at the centre of attention in their campaigns etc. Sadly, the dynamics of Indian Muslims is based on the narrative of Pakistan, and I can only imagine the bias I would feel if the situation was the other way round, i.e, if a predominant muslim subcontinent saw a creation of an ideological state based on hinduism! So it's all relative. I would argue, the concepts of Pakistan and India was a meticulously planned conflagration hotspot left by the colonising British to keep the entire subcontinent region in check, and so far it has worked as intended. Both these two states in their current forms are untenable, and there will come a time when they will return to their primordial roots and rule according to their historic vernacular. And I can vouch for the beautifully elaborated case of Shashi Tharoors' Hinduism, as it was that faith and culture that accommodated the very early Muslims and allowed the first ever muslim communities outside of arabia to flourish, and this was well before the rabid and violence ridden ummayads decided to go on their rampaging crusades throughout the subcontinent. We will all have a lot in common when we realise our worst enemy is our ignorance. Peace, love and light.

I believe that the soul is eternal, as Hindus believe but what that looks like and what it means is not Hindu. We cannot be a bee and understand other insects, which we would be able to do if we reincarnated. Jesus says the soul is eternal and then displays on how it all works.
