I just gotta say this because of Cyber Sleuth I'd was finally revived on being a Digimon fan, I'd abandon Digimon years ago because it's popularity was dying including I was having hard time trying to find where on earth the anime series was airing because it just keep on jumping and jumping to other channels like if it was a game of hot potato. Also I did promise myself that if I were to find out a Digimon game that is somewhat similar to a Pokemon game then it'll be the reason for me to get back into being a Digimon fan once again and now thanks to Cyber Sleuth I'm finally back on loving the series that I'd been waiting to get back onto my life, and finally I just want to thank both ShadowShak and you ZeroDex for making videos for anyone who really wants to know what Digimon is exactly all about and I'm among those who seen those videos to understand anything about Digimon it may sound weird but it's the truth so thank you both especially I thank Cyber Sleuth most of all for having me the courage to bring Digimon back into my life again.
I figured it out too and that’s why i didn’t enjoy the early chapters(i stuck with it since i like digimon and thank god i did stayed) but when the story shift to a new villain and the world starting to fuse to the cyberspace it became fun to progress on the story but granted i didn’t played the original cyber sleuth so the shift of setting was unexpected for me
The last Digimon game I played was Digimon World DS, and it's been YEARS ever since I revisited the franchise. I had been playing a lot of shooters and RPG shooters as of lately, so I decided to go back to my roots as a gamer and play something more charming and simple. So I bought Hackers Memories. And I loved it. So much has changed, and I definitely liked the new mechanics. Your farm is actually useful on HM, the Evolution lines are much more complex and entangled, the battle animation looks dope, and there's an actual story going on rather than just "Go to X and fix that". The option to remove animations makes it so much easier to grind, and the "Data, Vaccine, Virus" types are great because you actually have to stop and think on which Digimon you'll carry fo the next quest. I love Virus types, but when I use a full team of them I take the risk of getting my ass kicked, which is thrilling. Also when you "die" you don't immediately respawn, instead you have to load a save, which is ' at least for me, a real challenge since I don't save often.
I’ll say this about HM: I honestly prefer Ryuji, Erika, and yes even Chitose over the last game’s cast. Despite the scale of your adventures being more character based instead of world saving, it improves the story immensely to me. Also the game’s ending broke me: “So this is the birth of a new Hudie?”.
SPOILERS It was so sad, it made the adventure seem useless in the end. Your character wanted to be a hero, but in the end you still couldn't save Erika. The ending just makes you feel empty, and the main character couldn't be the hero that Hudie needed. The game was great, and so were all the new digimon, but the ending SUCKED. So in my own opinion, I prefer to be a cyber sleuth rather than a hacker.
ZeroDex while I do agree with you about the field guide being an advantage I’d say the free Tactical USB is much better. I would love a team creator it would make us much more invested in the story. I would also love a character creator to make it even more investable. Funny thing is that World: Next Order video was the video I found your channel from.
As someone who bought the full edition for 15$ I never knew that it came with a second game as long as base game. Nuts. Only on chapter 15 of game 1 lol
Hacker's Memory isn't a sequel. It doesn't exactly move the story along as a sequel would entail. It's a side story that directly ties into Cyber Sleuth. It's even referenced by the chapter names which are dubbed "Another side chapter" Or something of the like. I feel like Hacker's memory was an improvement on Cyber Sleuth cgaracter wise. The members of Hudie were much more compelling than the original cast and you even got more insight on pre-existing characters like Matayoshi and Date. I feel that with the relative success of Cyber Sleuth, Hacker's Memory was a great step in the right direction.
The worst thing about domination battle is that depenting on who is your pathner you have to carry The team ALL by yourself, by What you say fix It Very well but sound broken like to limit The Digimon you can use there shound be a hard limitation like in The online competive and thanks for The vídeo
Also not a sequel it's a side story your helping the protag from the main game setup for his stuff also I have a team of 3 mega levels and 2 ultra all at lv99 and I'm only on chapter 11
The game is awesome and the new roster has a good variety but in terms of the story, it's good but I can't help but think that the problem with it is they tried to do too any storylines at once and because of that, they didn't manage to warp any of them up in a satisfying conclusion
Hacker's memory is actually a prequel meant to fill plotholes from the previous game, make the gameplay better, make a new still very good story and to have one of the best final boss themes in all of gaming.
I really enjoyed playing the first Cyber Sleuth game, been a Digimon fan since the first season aired and Cyber Sleuth was the first Digimon game I've played in years, and one of the best I've played too so I was of cause going to pick up Hackers Memory. I enjoyed Hackers Memory a lot too, it did feel a much shorter game to go through but the refined gameplay and increased cutscenes over the first Cyber Sleuth gave this one a more fluid feel over the first one. Your team in Hackers Memory I found more enjoyable to be around as appose to Cyber Sleuth (though I still like them too). Hackers Memory is a great game and one of the best in terms of gameplay we've had for Digimon I feel in a long time, however the ending to me was a let down, if you've played the first Cyber Sleuth game then you have a good idea what is going to happen at the end of this one, I won't go into spoilers but Hackers Memory's ending felt far to cliche for me, like it was forced on us to have this rather somber ending when it could easily have been wrote differently, especially with all the other events that happened as well at the end. After playing this game for so many hours to have the pay off be that honestly disappointed me, I know bandai obviously went for this route to get emotion from the characters but as I said, was too forced and cliche for its own sake, for your main character it was a bad ending for him. This is how I felt anyway, still a very solid Digimon game I'd recommend if your a fan of Digimon. I'd have given the game an 8.5 to 9/10 but with its ending I'd knock it down to a 7/10. Also I've been enjoying you content on your channel, only just recently discovered it, consider yourself a new subscriber here! Keep up the good work.

I personally hate the ending. It kind of makes it feel like everything I did was pointless and/or for nothing. I also feel like I had to rely on intellect/defense penetrating attacks toward the end. Love the other mechanics and the wider selection of clothing.
@@user-oe6nw4kd7p It was more like using intellect/defense penetrating attacks were the only way to not have fights drag on, sometimes almost indefinitely if they kept healing, and have to use all my items in the process. I get wanting bosses to feel powerful but it was more they were super defensive and you had to fight your way around that then them being an actual challenge
I have not played cyber sleuth yet, but i am really happy to see my lunamon with her full evolution line in the game, and i hope to see all the olympus twelve in the future, even gracenovamon
I just want Omnimon alter B/S or the new Omnimon forms and by extension the Greymom and Garurumon forms like BlitzGreymon and CresGarurumon. I also want to include the other Legendary Warriors and more X-Antibody forms... Appolomon line and GraceNovamon, UlForceVeedramon X, Baalmon, Astamon, Raidramon, Ophanimon Fall down mode maybe some could ve added as DLC it would be awsome, but i really doubt it.
Hilariously enough. K's identity was so obvious to me, that I was just laughing everytime a certain character was on screen. Because K had that same simp energy, just hidden behind mysterious energy as well-
Considering emperorgreymon and magnagarurumon are in this game how would aldamon and beowolfmon work when those are pretty much between ultimate and mega in terms of power while ancientgreymon actually has a model and animations in links already.

Not gonna lie. Playing through DSCSHM has made me wanna go back and replay through the original again! I love these digimon games. My only issue is the fans.. I feel like people feel too intitled just because they got, not really a sequal but a side story to Cyber Sleuth. Or it didn't have the digimon people wanted. It's a fucking digimon game people.. This isn't pokemon! xD
Ok, I’ll spoil one of the main extra missions, I had that Digimarket trashed. Yep that’s right you can be completely rid of the digimarket with just one mission. I never really found anything useful about it after the first purchase plus it just makes leveling them up slightly easier which doesn’t make too much sense to me when I could just do it all myself.
So zero dex, what 3 digimon did you use most for the final battle? I pretty much cheesed it compared to the multiple hour struggle of the first games final boss. I had a bunch if rag tags in the first game. But here, I mostly used omnimon zwart, examon, and chaosdramon. It was fairly easy comparatively.
A bit too easy is the understatement of the century A few words: chapter 9 A dinobeemon,a lady devimon and a mega seadramon I had to sit afk in that farm for like 2 weeks
I feel you left out something important the Ability in the first cyber sleugh goes to 100 in this game it goes to 200! i had knights half way through the game
just a little tired of seeing nothing but the same citys and blue stuff i want to be more in other citys or digital worlds ya know other then that i love it

I lost my saves of original cybersleuth on my ps4 so I restarted it and play til intro and save and then import the save to hacker memory and got a tactician usb, what else get imported incase I miss everything else? I am very confused I just bought this version on eBay because the way it looks in the way it's advertised it I thought it was just a bigger finished version of cyber sleuth.. please explain to me is cyber sleuth a separate game with a separate story? Please stop saying sequel. It's not a sequel. It's a side story for another hackers perspective. A sequel is a continuation of where a previous story is left. Hacker's memory takes place at the same time as the original cyber sleuth

there are some easy way to get xp later in the game, so you can just evolve it randomly back and forth for ab and train his SP and INT(lively and/or brainy i think) in the farm. maybe the rest of his line is hard though, haven't gotten that far yet. devolving angemon or devilmon into lucemon on my other play through must be hilarious, first lucemon special skill seems great

It was awesome but I do want see Aldamon, Beowolfmon, Ancient Greymon and Ancient Garurumon in the game.

Which Digimon did you fight the final boss with? Mine were Grandracmon, Dianamon, Omnimon Zwarts, Ouryumon, Justimon, Gaiomon... and a few others.
I’m enjoying it a lot so far the only problem is that digimons with type advantage can beat you with normal attacks

They need to web the attributes in the next game and ill be a happy boy basicly i just want every attribute to have 2 weaknesses and res they chose good elements to combine the triangles

I lost my saves of original cybersleuth on my ps4 so I restarted it and play til intro and save and then import the save to hacker memory and got a tactician usb, what else get imported incase I miss everything else?

It's kinda hard to replay cybersleuth when this one is pretty much the same but improved, so I still have to complete the game once to get royal knights?
I am very confused I just bought this version on eBay because the way it looks in the way it's advertised it I thought it was just a bigger finished version of cyber sleuth.. please explain to me is cyber sleuth a separate game with a separate story? I hate the way Japan advertisers entitles some of their games they make it's so confusing for a person like me.

I don't know about you but the game reminds me of Digimon dusk and Digimon Dawn in my opinion both hackers memory and the first one are improved versions of Dusk and Dawn I don't know Maybe because of Lunamon she came out in Digimon dusk as your partner Digimon

Please stop saying sequel. It's not a sequel. It's a side story for another hackers perspective. A sequel is a continuation of where a previous story is left. Hacker's memory takes place at the same time as the original cyber sleuth

Isn’t Hacker’s Memory actually more of a parallel to Cyber Sleuth? Also I’ve completed the game a few times but I’m so having trouble with the Lucemon line
there are some easy way to get xp later in the game, so you can just evolve it randomly back and forth for ab and train his SP and INT(lively and/or brainy i think) in the farm.
maybe the rest of his line is hard though, haven't gotten that far yet.
devolving angemon or devilmon into lucemon on my other play through must be hilarious, first lucemon special skill seems great
Love the game and the prequel but I fucking DESPISE the way they handle dlc with these games
