    This is exactly what I was looking for. Many thanks, as a beginner, I was completely lost in the written pattern 🎉

    Thank you so much! Your video was exactly what I needed. My pattern mentioned GSR and gave no information on adding a double stitch, but did include "knit the double st", leaving me to fend for myself. Specifically this was for the Lamb and Kid Fancy raglan sweater. My anxiety has been greatly decreased thanks to your instruction.

    Thank you sooooo very much. I’m working on a pattern and for the life of me made no sense. You helped me to understand what the designer was writing.

    Thank you. I've knit several patterns that don't include German short rows so I've had to adapted the pattern. The only thing I wasn't clear about was how to do the increase stitches from the purl side. 🌹

    the pattern im reading has the start of the round be the first raglan stitch and it's been so difficult to suss out. i feel like altering the pattern so that the start of the round is in the middle of the panel😭

    Great video!
    I have a question. Why aren’t you increasing every single time you pass the raglan stitch markers when you turn the work each time? Is it because you had just increased, worked the GSR, turn work and then just work the stitches without increasing? Is it too many increases? Will a pattern ever day to increase every time you come to a raglan marker?
    Please help!! Thank you

    Great video! One more thing…when checking the stitch count, do you count those double-legged stitches as one stitch or two?

    • @wanderlustknitter6027
      @wanderlustknitter6027  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It’s 1 stitch. Typically the pattern will call these the “double stitch”.

    can you do still do them after you've worked rounds of raglan increases? or does it stricly have to be right after the neckline

    • @wanderlustknitter6027
      @wanderlustknitter6027  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      IMO it looks best to do them right after the neckline, but in theory you could do them later. When knitting sweaters for my husband I've worked GSR right after the neckline and then again right before I split the yoke into the body and sleeves, because the extra length is needed.

    I find this rather confusing. When you say "purl across the sleeves" it sounds as if the sleeves next to each other.
