only thing i do not like is the bosses are lack luster, and the subjugators during the waves are not as much of a threat as the tormentors in OG Onslaught. Also I have not found much cover in this boss room as compared the the original as tones of ads spawn everywhere, making the boss room significantly more dangerous than the original if you cannot melt the boss. If the wave 50 boss subjugator lands a suspend, I think you are just dead.
The new defense options in my experience aren’t even being used. I farmed expert on eventide, as it’s bugged at 2010, at least it was prob got patched today, but I digress, no one was buying manned turrets, or air strikes. I saw air strike once out of like 10-15 runs. I don’t get it…
This build is nice, but I have 2 recommendations that make it far, far better. Instead of the fragments "Whisper of Fissures" and "Whisper of Rime", replace them with "Whisper of Bonds" and "Whisper of Torment". Here's my long and drawn out reasoning: "Whisper of Fissures" isn't as good as the in-game description makes it sound. It's a weird mod that works in a weird way. For example, it doesn't flat out increase shatter damage. Instead, it adds a second instance of shatter damage that's around 12% of the shatter damage you just dealt. While it does increase the range of the explosion, it's only something like 2m further. It's kind of worthless. So, instead of using "Fissures", replace it with "Torment", which gives you grenade energy every time you take damage, while giving you even more grenade energy if you have Frost Armor while receiving that damage. The reason "Whisper of Torment" is better should be obvious. It's a safety net which helps you to get your grenade back faster. Nobody is perfect and, even with 2 grenade charges, in a mode like Onslaught or even anywhere else, it can be extremely easy to waste both charges, because your teammates killed the enemies first, and then have no grenades left to show for it. When there are a lot of enemies nearby, you're definitely going to take damage. Especially if you're trying to shoot at them because your skills are on cooldown. Even when this isn't the case, "Torment" helps while your rotation is active and working as intended and it allows you to use your grenades more frequently. If you ask me, that's a far better option than slightly further AoE and a miniscule buff for shatter damage. As for "Whisper of Rime", it's not useless by any means. But, for this build, it's not nearly as useful as "Bonds", which allows you to create orbs of power whenever you kill frozen enemies. There's a short cooldown and it only generates 1 orb by itself, but when combined with other mods and weapons, you can generate lots of orbs at one time by including this fragment into the build. This plays into more healing, skill cooldowns, armor charge, etc. for the entire team. This single fragment makes the build far more versatile and durable and just overall more useful. Not to mention, even without "Rime", you're still able to build up Frost Armor and get damage reduction. Which plays into the "Whisper of Torment" fragment that I mentioned above, giving your grenade back faster, allowing you to create more orbs, faster. Which allows you to do things like healing on orb pickup, or just building up armor charge, and using your super. There's a LOT more you can do with the orbs of power and armor charge than you can with a little bit more damage reduction. In your video, we see you taking advantage of your knowledge of Onslaught to get the jump on enemies and where they're going to spawn or come from. When you're playing with randoms, or even friends, it can often be hard to consistently get your build's rotation going if they're killing enemies before you can do what you need to do. Sure, Osmiomancy gives you grenade energy back on hit, but if your teammates are killing the other enemies before you can throw your grenade, freeze an enemy and then kill that enemy, the whole build falls apart and you're forced to rely on your weapons until your grenade recharges. So, instead of "Whisper of Rime", which gives you a little more damage reduction, you go for orbs of power. It can lead to more damage reduction, healing, more frequent ability/super usage, more uptime for damage surge mods and all of the other versatility that orbs of power and armor charge provides. And, instead of "Whisper of Fissures", which does so little it's practically useless, you're giving yourself a really nice safety net by using "Whisper of Torment". Which helps you get the core ability of your build (your grenade) back up and running when the build inevitably fails for whatever reason.
Is there a better stasis build without the use of the new stasis DLC armor I'm currently trying to make a stasis build and I don't have the final shape DLC
@@metroman2287Plunder posted one a while ago like last year for stasis warlocks that just used osmiomancy. Here's the thing though. Since then, the distance the seekers travel has been nerfed. So its probably a bit inconsistant compared to what it used to be. If for some reason you have an issue with this build there's not really much going for stasis warlocks besides using bleakwatchers. For that you could look up a build that uses Osmiomancy and bleakwatcher turrets. Bleakwatchers is far more consistant in endgame content like GM's and harder raid encounters. The problem with using Osmiomancy is that if you want to use bleakwatcher turrets, honestly prismatic is the way to go with getaway artist, or using the new warlock chestpiece. You can get like 3-4 bleakwatcher turrets out on prismatic. Compared to 2- maybe 3 on onsiomancy. If you like just deleting red bar enemies with stasis crystals then this one works very well and I don't believe requires any of the new DLC to use. I reworked this build to use the new exotic Stasis GL in the kinetic slot. I found honestly that using fighting lion was inconsistant. I also found that just aiming and shooting with the new GL was way easier to hit targets. It also was usually enough dmg to just delete them anyways. Fighting lion is fun to delete frozen red bars no doubt. The volatile rounds also help a bit with yellow bars. But thats if you hit your direct shot. If you miss, you have basically one extra shot to direct hit before they become unfrozen with your grenade. But if you are making a build for red bars then you can literally go any route. Trinity ghoul, riskrunner, a machine gun with incandescent. All of these are going to work to destroy red bar enemies. I like plunder and this is a fun build. But it definitely needs some tweaks to perform in end game content. But its fun foir stuff like onslaught. I had to rework his build for the new GL, also to prioritize getting my grenade back much quicker. With also a stasis reloader, and also making use of the powered stasis melee, since there are so many shards laying around.
@bartok1378 Thanks man I came back from a very long break so I don't have Prismatic or the new DLC so I'm trying to find a build that can keep up with everything that's been added I did find one using the stasis rifle exotic and mantle of Harmony however that's another add clear so it falls very quickly when it comes to bosses Any suggestions for a build this season that is amazing for Solo or just teams?
@metroman2287 aside from the stasis build I've already mentioned. Without prismatic the only other thing warlocks really have going for them is maybe a dire ahamkara build with bad juju to get your super back faster. But void is not the best on its own right now. So not sure how it would do for bosses in say a GM. But from gameplay I watched you get about one nova bomb per minute with lots of ads to kill. As for solar you could maybe try the old staple of using Polaris lance with dawn chorus. But ignitions are bugged at the moment and we waiting I think 2 weeks for them to become fixed this November. I don't know about strand to be honest. Especially without using Mataiodoxia, which I think you need Final Shape for. Unfortunately prismatic really is the bees knees when it comes to build crafting these days. Any builds that aren't taking advantage of it are mostly copium.
H fighting lion has been in my favourite weapons list for YEARS. It’s always been a viable weapon but this volatile buff has really brought it back into the game with all the power creep going on
For anyone struggling with getting fighting lion hits, learn to manually triggrr the grenade explosion with the hold/release LMB/right trigger button mechanic. This will help you be effective until you get good at predicting the arc of the grenade to get you those juicy direct impacts
I actually completed expert Onslaught with classic Banner of War build with Peacekeepers + Huckleberry. I was able to play super aggressive and only died when I k*lled myself with my GL lol
@@Plunderthabooty Sounds awesome! Maven did an interesting dps comparison video with subs + Peacekeepers. The surprising winner was Parabellum with Rewind Rounds + Deconstruction. Frees up your exotic for the heavy slot or maybe Witherhoard.
I never actually liked the prismatic getaway build It's decent yea But it's so boring and has legit nothing actually special, the new warlock exotic has two special styles to use it, making it js even better

@@xAbsynthex i put it on when i got very frustrated on something, otherwise my main build last episode was Crown of Tempest Primastic warlock, Also once they nerfed getaway artist to not provided grenade energy when devour was active, that sealed the deal for me, i was not going to pull it out unless i had to, and the new chestpiece is so good that i will not be using getaway artist for the foreseeable furture
Isn't there an artifact perk to give Devour when killing weakened enemies? And another for getting class ability energy when picking up shards. And another for freezing enemies in a radius when critically damaged if you have frost armor. Lots in the artifact to enhance this build. I'm running Vesper of Radius with Frostpulse and loving it all over again this season. So much new build variety and the seasonal activity being Onslaught is great in my opinion. I would also try the new dungeon area denial fram void grenade launcher with attrition orbs in a build soon. It prints them like political fliers in October.
Its rapid kills on weakened enemies for devour and I dont think this build really weakens that many? GL can do champs and bosses. I mean I still use it because why not.
Ok, so... I was messing around with this and yeah, it's a very good build. The thing is: Fighting Lion just isn't a weapon that I'm good with. The grenades bounce around, you swear that you shot something o ly for the shot to phase through it and some other stuff. So I went and changed some stuff around! Fighting Lion go out so Graviton Lance and Le Monarque could go in and those work REALLY well with this build
With it bouncing around, you can control when the grenade detonates...at least on controller. I play PS5 and by holding the trigger you can let go when you want the grenade to detonate, which helps alot with controlling the launcher. Also, practice makes perfect. I hated it when I first used it (mind you that was years ago) but I forced myself to use it and got better with it over time!
@@UncleShanks2008 Problem is if you control the detonation, you don't get the void procs... it's just a normal grenade launcher explosion. It has to directly detonate hitting an enemy to do the void.
Prismatic warlock with skill of dire ahamkara and bad juju goes insanely dumb. Ive dropped 1300+ kills on expert onslaughts multiple times. My secondary is a waveframe harsh language, snd my heavy is edge transit. Super fun game loop and incredible dps
@@davidc5170 Ahamkara helm + bad juju makes it so that your nova bomb is your new grenade lmao. Make sure to spec into transcendence fragments to even lean heavier into the ability spam aspect. HOWEVER. Never throw your nova during transcendence active. It’s currently bugged and won’t return super energy on hit
@@Joemama-xw2wy did not know that, so that's why I wasn't getting shit from my novas. But regardless it comes back so fast from juju I didn't really notice.
For seasonal mods I would think Crystalline Converter would work well with this. Gathering stasis shards to allow your next powered melee unleash a ton of crystals. Also Armor of Eramis and Hail the Storm would combine well. Hail the Storm even has a tonic boost to get more damage from shattering frozen targets. Even more shatter damage.
I plan to use this on prismatic with the new exotic chest. That way you're detonating the crystals as well for even more damage and volatile explosions. You could also run the fragment to give you volatile rounds, although I'm still not sure how well they play into FL now that it also applies volatile.
if we withering gaze on an explosive heavy can weaken multiple things with one shot, then via the artifact we could look at adding devour to this build without switching to prismatic
Ive been doing this with a voyd glaive for a couple seasons and its one of my favorite builds. Having the infinite ammo of the fighting lion might be a blast though.
Seems like this would just be better on prismatic because then you have full devour and other prismatic perks while still being able to take advantage of frost armor with a different kinetic slot
@@tylerpowell2607this is just curiosity, your point is true, but on prismatic you can add bigger damage per ice explosions, add in devour with nova(a far better super), and add in ignitions of which do more shared damage as well. Or am I missing something? True question… not an argument.
I love this build but tbh it also reminds me of how said it is how much they nerfed it's reload speed over the years. Rapid impacts x5 even with void reload still makes it feel a little worse than what it used to be.
Fighting lion is a gl whose detonation can be controlled that means when you shoot the weapon don't let go off the trigger until u want it to explode. Like I'm in pc and i dont let go off the left mouse button(fire) until I want the projectile to detonate
Why wouldnt you run alethonym with a stasis build and it does passive damage to yellow bars like witherhoard and it has unlimited ammo and it can make ammo for your team and it shoots straight with no drop off
Thank you for the idea. I sucked with the fighting Lion. Tried replacing with few autos and pulses with destabilizing rounds. Still didn't feel right. Then tried the Erianas vow. No going back.
This build actually got me to pull out my Harsh Language instead of Fighting Lion. There's something to be said about primary ammo vs special ammo, but Envious/Destab is unreal in combination with stasis
If you're using stasis main, the super is kind of meh. Wouldn't running Aeger's Scepter fit better for the exotic slot? Especially since you can use your super in it for extra boss damage.

Osmiomancy and Ager’s gets nearly the same results. Freeze enemy and Ager’s. The Ager’s kill freezes even more enemies. Chuck cold snaps regularly into groups. You barely even need the turrets, if ever
It's not for me. Tried todays expert and master lost sector (chamber of starlight) and got my butt throughly kicked. I know you need to put out new builds but prismatic builds from last season still feel stronger to me even without artifact perks. I need dat devour!
Yeah, I don't know how I feel about this one. Unless you're in a really ad-dense activity, you don't freeze enough enemies, or the enemies are killed by your teammates between reloading Fighting Lion and Coldsnap chasing them down and you're left without any ability energy and a grenade launcher that takes way too much effort to hit anything with... 🤔

Made a similar build but with the new chest exotic and with prismatic instead. If I do say so myself, it functions 🤌 lets me play hyper aggressive and I can run whatever super suits the content I'm running.

@@UncleShanks2008 Problem is if you control the detonation, you don't get the void procs... it's just a normal grenade launcher explosion. It has to directly detonate hitting an enemy to do the void.
Onslaught has become my second fav activity ever. And trying diff builds is a big reason for that

Prismatic warlock with skill of dire ahamkara and bad juju goes insanely dumb. Ive dropped 1300+ kills on expert onslaughts multiple times. My secondary is a waveframe harsh language, snd my heavy is edge transit. Super fun game loop and incredible dps

@@davidc5170 Ahamkara helm + bad juju makes it so that your nova bomb is your new grenade lmao. Make sure to spec into transcendence fragments to even lean heavier into the ability spam aspect.
HOWEVER.
Never throw your nova during transcendence active. It’s currently bugged and won’t return super energy on hit
@@Joemama-xw2wy did not know that, so that's why I wasn't getting shit from my novas. But regardless it comes back so fast from juju I didn't really notice.

I just tried this and it’s hella good fun ! I used a shotgun for barrier champs.
It worked so well. Great build and so simple.

For seasonal mods I would think Crystalline Converter would work well with this. Gathering stasis shards to allow your next powered melee unleash a ton of crystals. Also Armor of Eramis and Hail the Storm would combine well. Hail the Storm even has a tonic boost to get more damage from shattering frozen targets. Even more shatter damage.
Just got a nasty Loose Change Chill Clip roll on the new Statis sidearm and this build FUCKS with it.
I plan to use this on prismatic with the new exotic chest. That way you're detonating the crystals as well for even more damage and volatile explosions. You could also run the fragment to give you volatile rounds, although I'm still not sure how well they play into FL now that it also applies volatile.
if we withering gaze on an explosive heavy can weaken multiple things with one shot, then via the artifact we could look at adding devour to this build without switching to prismatic
Ive been doing this with a voyd glaive for a couple seasons and its one of my favorite builds. Having the infinite ammo of the fighting lion might be a blast though.

Seems like this would just be better on prismatic because then you have full devour and other prismatic perks while still being able to take advantage of frost armor with a different kinetic slot
U get less frost armour and u miss out on ice flare bolts, the best aspect for a stasis build to chain freeze an entire room
@@tylerpowell2607this is just curiosity, your point is true, but on prismatic you can add bigger damage per ice explosions, add in devour with nova(a far better super), and add in ignitions of which do more shared damage as well.

I love this build but tbh it also reminds me of how said it is how much they nerfed it's reload speed over the years. Rapid impacts x5 even with void reload still makes it feel a little worse than what it used to be.

Fighting lion is a gl whose detonation can be controlled that means when you shoot the weapon don't let go off the trigger until u want it to explode. Like I'm in pc and i dont let go off the left mouse button(fire) until I want the projectile to detonate

Why wouldnt you run alethonym with a stasis build and it does passive damage to yellow bars like witherhoard and it has unlimited ammo and it can make ammo for your team and it shoots straight with no drop off
i wanna try fighting lion with controlled demolition on titan, CD always makes things crazy with any source of volatile

Thank you for the idea. I sucked with the fighting Lion. Tried replacing with few autos and pulses with destabilizing rounds. Still didn't feel right. Then tried the Erianas vow. No going back.
If you want void (for devour) where aiming works: choir of one or a legend glaive or ergo sum caster/wave frame

This build actually got me to pull out my Harsh Language instead of Fighting Lion. There's something to be said about primary ammo vs special ammo, but Envious/Destab is unreal in combination with stasis

If you're using stasis main, the super is kind of meh. Wouldn't running Aeger's Scepter fit better for the exotic slot? Especially since you can use your super in it for extra boss damage.

Osmiomancy and Ager’s gets nearly the same results. Freeze enemy and Ager’s. The Ager’s kill freezes even more enemies. Chuck cold snaps regularly into groups. You barely even need the turrets, if ever

It's not for me. Tried todays expert and master lost sector (chamber of starlight) and got my butt throughly kicked. I know you need to put out new builds but prismatic builds from last season still feel stronger to me even without artifact perks. I need dat devour!

Yeah, I don't know how I feel about this one. Unless you're in a really ad-dense activity, you don't freeze enough enemies, or the enemies are killed by your teammates between reloading Fighting Lion and Coldsnap chasing them down and you're left without any ability energy and a grenade launcher that takes way too much effort to hit anything with... 🤔
Switching the GL for Graviton Lance helped that for me.

Made a similar build but with the new chest exotic and with prismatic instead. If I do say so myself, it functions 🤌 lets me play hyper aggressive and I can run whatever super suits the content I'm running.
