I would add to that list a quick smoothie bowl - veggies, avocado and some clean protein powder and almond butter. Or a cottage cheese bowl either sweet with berries or savoury with chopped veggies or salad. There’s a lovely cottage cheese bowl from Autumn Elle nutrition that’s super quick and tasty. Thanks Liz.
Hiya Liz, On a rushed day, i boil a good quality egg, cube up an avocado and then make a side salad of cucumber, red onion ( always!) tomatoes & a yellow pepper! Drizzle extra virgin olive oil. Thats me done until dinner. Would you add anything to that? Absolutely love watching your you tube clips and i have your book! Have a great week ❤
Freeze ahead…I always have home made meals in the freezer to grab …in zip top bags …have a hold day cooking ahead. when I make a stew I do double to freeze ahead…or chilli etc all ready in the freezer
Eggs are my absolute favourite and go to every day but particularly when I’m in a rush and can’t be bored to cook a meal - the original fast food. As you said, a tin of mackerel or sardines and dates or dark choc as a sweet treat is my everyday go to. Would love a video on how to grow micro greens please! I also like to grab a kiwi or two and most days I blitz up some frozen blueberries, half banana and juice of a lemon x
Yesterday I just cracked open a tin of Heinz lentil soup 🍜 (only ate half of it) with some Greek yoghurt and a boiled egg. Not proud of it, but I just didn’t have time to cook from scratch and didn’t have anything else. I usually make my own but I gave up trying to eat whole food 100% of the time. I bit of UPF will not kill anyone in the scheme of things!
Thanks Liz , tinned fish needs to be on my shopping list ,always buy fresh fish... this is a fab stand by idea when im tired and hungry.... I usually cook some pasta and add all the veg I have in fridge ,with cheese if I'm low on ingredients and had an exhausting day...❤
The brilliant UK company Bold Beans have some amazingly speedy recipes both on their website and cookbook..... all healthy and fast. We all have days we can't face cooking which is why I cook double and either freeze or have in fridge for next day. But my go to fast healthy meals are from Bold Beans and one only takes 10 mins from start to on your plate ( Chickpeas, vegan pesto, spinach and peas!)
Thanks for the reminder about tinned fish, I have recently started to put anchovies on pizza and then use the leftovers in salads. I would love to see a vlog about protein and your thoughts on how best to incorporate it into our meals, plus how much should we eat per day/week?
You're welcome! We recently posted a couple of videos on protein, so do check those out! ❤️ th-cam.com/video/X22bhmLmOv0/w-d-xo.html and th-cam.com/video/uoBtAxjEXsg/w-d-xo.html
Salmon / turkey jerky… carrots and okra crisps…. they’re my favourites… see I love finger foods… yessir that there be my answer to not cooking nor giving in to ordering a take away…. Just so you know Ms Earle…. You’re looking mighty fly even after all these years I must say ma’am…. Thanks for this post… Stay fabulous !! Ciao ;)’
Hi Liz, again great tips for a healthy alternative to upf. Just another thought, what's your skin care routine now , has it changed from let's say two years ago, your bathroom cabinet changed ? 🙂 Keep up the great work!!!
I throw things into an instant pot and an hour later have soup to have with some toasted bread . Yum . Top with a bit of avocado and creamy yoghurt. Sorry it is a cook option but really simple. This week, i threw in some frozen onions, and garlic. A cup of washed dry orange lentils, 2 tbs of tomato paste. A shredded courgette and a shredded carrot. Some spices ( paprika, turmeric and cumin, chilli if desired. And cover with water. Leave to cook in the Instant pot for 3 minutes. Honestly, so simple. Just need to be brave.
Liz I have heard you, and others, recommend cottage cheese…what is in the cottage cheese you buy? In Australia, the cottage cheese that I am able to access contains: fresh skim milk, milk solids, salt, preservative 202, thickeners, guar gum, xanthum gum, locust bean gum, processed eucheuma seaweed, citric acid and milk cultures… this list sounds a little scary…? What are your thoughts? I don’t know if I should buy it or avoid it. So far I have avoided it.
Morning hope I find you well , my mirror doesn’t chop , stopped using oil now , started to cook with Ghee , have you ever tried it yourself ? Something sweet aren’t you sweet enough ,
I've started roasting a chicken every week; it's amazing how far it goes and how many meals it can provide
Have you tried making stock from that carcass too. We do it for our boys who have food intolerance.
Great tip!
We do that, and then make stock with the bones, then freeze the stock in portions. It's wonderful.

Sounds great!
Dry fry Hallomi , takes minutes and add to green salad and olives with some olive oil , balsamic vinegar and lemon juice as a dressing! Yum
Sounds great!

Sounds delicious! We'd probably do more than one egg so it has more protein in it ❤️

Thank you! Amazing Ideas! Is it true that you can boil eggs and store them, so you have to reheat them?
We haven't tried reheating them, but we have boiled and then kept in the fridge once cooled to have later ❤️
@@lizearlewellbeing thank you ♥️👍

Sounds like a lot of unwanted ingredients - we'd pick one made with just milk and a little salt ❤️

@@lizearlewellbeing sorry about my bad humour but only a little sorry obviously , be good or bad the choice is yours , take care you = me.
