Call of Duty "Pro" Plays SPLATOON 3… (Funny Moments)

- Before I even speak, why is there a third game in this series? Oh wait, money. As you guys may know, I've made a few Call of Duty videos here and there, but recently I've had a falling out with it and don't really play it anymore. At the Game Awards a few months ago, MW2 had the chance to win best multiplayer game, but Splatoon 3 ended up winning that title. After seeing that I said, screw it, I'll try it. Whilst the game is fun, I still don't see the reason for a third game.

Fun fact, pretty much all top players use gyro. I tried gyro in modern warfare 2 and found it challenging, but I think it works well here
That surprises me a lot
at first i thought "why is it better?" until i actually played the game.
i'm a flingza roller main, so i feel like it doesn't matter if i use stick controls or not
@@MKF101gyro is just the closest you can to aiming with a mouse with a controller.
Play salmon run, your adrenaline will increase by a lot.
Call of duty looks the same for years and releases yearly 😂
Unfortunately they still get my money
@@MKF101 glad splatoon 3 beat call of duty as best multiplayer
@@MKF101 sad
bro the way he said he thought none of them use gyro is IRONIC
4:55 that is the Big Bubbler, a stationary shield that your teammates can jump to and that only your team can shoot through.
the more I think about it the more I think roller is one of the best designed weapons in splatoon. It simultaneously has a negative skill floor to the point where anybody can do ok with it, as well as one of the highest skill ceilings in the game right up there with tent and stamper, it takes a place near the top of the meta specifically because of people who one-trick it and push it so much farther than anybody ever thought was possible.
dude you gotta try it with motion! It will be very weird at first, but you need to wait for the neuron to activate. It'll completely transform your movement for the better
So I’ve heard, planning on doing a video with it
"why make a new game instead of a free update?" bro you're literally a cod player
Satire my brother, but yes I do play cod 😂
"Does splatoon have pro leagues, bet non play gyro" Actually everyone in the competitive scene uses motion controls because they are objectively better lol...
Yeah I’m kinda surprised by the gyro usage from what I’ve heard
i’m glad you didn’t say “this is just a silly kids game” because everyone else says it
the reason they made a third game was because the turf war scene takes new steps every so often and the steps five years after the splatoon 2 era were significant enough to warrant a new game.
Honestly this entry surpasses the previous 2 in some ways but is still far from perfect. They have added some things to change up the gameplay, new challenge modes, closed out the main story mode arc built up from the first game, etc but this one was very much rushed out and would have benefitted with more development time
Might have to play the single player, never played any of them
@@MKF101 The single player experiences aren't too complex but are fun and have hidden tidbits of lore surrounding the history of the world and how these characters came to be. It can actually get pretty dark at most times which is one reason alot of people like it. I'd also suggest using motion when doing the single player as it'll help get used to it for anyone who feels uncomfortable with it. The series is built incredibly well off of the motion controls when used properly
7:36 that, my friend, is an ultrastamp, which can pretty much be summed up by the sound effect you chose just then.
Yeah, I learned the hard way
The shareholders were really happy when Iwata passed away and they could push for paid online
you have my respect for at least trying the game
Just made a new one too *wink wink*
I'm sorry, but the cod player can not be arguing that each splatoon game is the same and is only for money
I know, it was just saying it for satirical affect
@@MKF101 lol
There's a third game because it's a different setting, with different characters, set years after the game before. There are also new modes, an entire new story, weapons and maps are different, etc. I think on the backend it's entirely different netcode, and has way better server-side storage of user data/cloud save support too.
Also almost all competitive players use motion controls. It's much more mouse-like in terms of speed/accuracy than using just analog sticks.
Yeah this is what a lot of people have told me, interesting to say the least. Thanks mate
"Does splatoon have pro leagues?" Yes and pretty much everyone plays gyro. Dunno why gyro works so well for splatoon when with other games it doesn't, specially since splatoon doesn't have aim assist.
Just uploaded a video of me trying gyro. It’s fun, but I still prefer stick controls believe it or not
@@MKF101 Takes a bit of getting used to, personally I prefer gyro but tbh it doesn't matter if you're just playing casually
there's a third game because the meta of splatoon 2 was complete dogshit lmao
You’d be surprised how many top level players use gyro. Its not as good as mouse but its come a long way since the first iteration.
So I’ve heard, got a video planned out for motion controls, soon
