Good choices. I would like them to add Vidar, Norse God of Vengeance and Thor’s lesser known half-brother. Often relying on Vidar’s power, the other gods preferred to stay on his good side. He will rip Fenrir in half after it eats Odin, survive Ragnarok, and recreate the world as the new king of the gods after Surtur burns everything.
A cool demon to add is Russian story character Koschei the Deathless. Koschei was a peerless warrior because he took his death and stored it in the head of a needle, put the needle in an egg, put the egg in a duck, put the duck in a hare, put the hare in a chest and put the chest on an island. Koschei shows up in some other stories.

All of SCP is royalty free and open source/Creative Commons minus a few images on there that are copyrighted. Peanut, aka SCP-173, the original SCP, for example is owned by a Japanese sculptor (or at least the image was) but let the SCP wiki use his creation for non-commercial uses. Eventually he changed his mind and made the SCP wiki remove his image, so for a while the SCP wiki contemplated remaking the original SCP like they did with the succubus one but I'm not sure what the actual result of that whole situation was. But a good 99% of SCPs are copyright free and can be used freely in commercial projects like what was done in the game Security Breach. (basically an SCP foundation simulator featuring the first 1000 SCPs found in series 1)
Indrid Cold Rumor Race "Also known as The Grinning Man, an enigmatic being first sighted in 1966. He is known for smiling at almost anyone (or anything) he meets, thus his nickname. Atlus needs to hire you as a consultant, you’ve nailed exactly what needs to be in SMT VI. I can only hope we’re going to see some contemporary demons in the next game. Amazing video!
Id like to see santa muertes and the Mapinguari. However i would also really love to see the 7 legendary beasts from Guarani mythology in a future game. In particular the Ao-Ao, the Moñai, Jasy Jatere and the Luison.

These are all fantastic ideas! I was thinking at the start "Oh, I might know 1 or 2 of these things, but I'm already familiar with Solomon, Erishkigal, Creepypastas, and even the Flatwoods Monster (Didn't expect to see her here tho). Honestly, I'd be happy if ANY of them made it to the series, and I'd be ecstatic if ALL of 'em made it in.
Someone otta make a SMT style SCP fan game in the style of Digital Devil Saga. Where a containment breach happens and the survivors are a D Class subject and a Researcher.
I'd love to see Zadkiel (archangel of freedom and righteousness), Gilgamesh, Beowulf and Enkidu be in smt. Sachiel (archangel of wealth and peace) is another archangel not in smt and is interchangeable with if not the same angel as Zadkiel. Sachiel could evolve into Zadkiel who can then evolve into Jesus, Melchizedek, Helel/Lucifer or Satanael.
Two I’ve always wanted to see and am honestly surprised aren’t in the games already are the Nuckelavee and the Dungavenhooter. The Nuckelavee is a monster from Orkney myth depicted is a giant skinless horse with the skinless torso of a man fused to its back which features freakishly long arms. It rises from the sea and it’s breath brings famine, pestilence, and drought across Scotland. It’s only weakness is fresh water. The Dungavenhooter is a creature originating from American Folklore and resembles an alligator but lacking a mouth. It stalks drunk men in the marshlands and pounds them into a fine powder using its club-like tail and inhales the remains though it’s large nostrils.
Apparently Shamsiel is an angel tasked with guarding the entrance to the Garden of Eden, but other sources have them as a high ranking demon. Probably the most infamous incarnation is as a succubus in a hentai series. Given SMT V's whole theme about man's fall from grace, it wouldn't be too much of a stretch to say that it would fit well in some kind of spinoff game. (Also between Panagia Tao and Hayataro, V kind of already has Amaterasu.)
Creepypastas and SCPs would make for some fun low level demons. They could expand the roster that way, and save some of the regular low level demons for higher level spots/areas.
I wish a few demons would get a redesign. A big one that comes to mind is moth man. He’s comically dumb looking for something that people attribute to calamity.
mentioning scp-173 threw me back to my childhood and being terrified of the weeping angels from doctor who. theres just something scary about a monster that only moves when your back is turned and youre fully aware of it
Cosnidering Solomon's connection to the goetia demon, i would image Demon!Solomon would have some connection either in the main story or in a side quest with the goetia demons already in SMT (like amon for example). Maybe a catch-em-all where you have to get all 72 of them (as the smt series has 60 out of 70, leaving 12 left) or something (though that example is admitidly extreme).
If we look at some cryptids, I think Nessie is iconic enough to deserve a slot as a SMT Demon. Since next to Bigfoot it is arguably the most famous one ever. Also what about Wilhelm Tell? Often seen as a Central European counterpart to Robinhood, the Swiss mythological founded could have a neat design, although he might arguably fit in better as a persona in a P5 spinoff thematically. Arachne might also be cool. The woman that challenged Athena to a spinning contest and got turned into a giant spider.
Amazing as always. My wife and I watch your videos together. Solomon is an extremely interesting person from the bible, in particular in his later life. Most of what is known of demon summoning comes from him. However, I don't think he's a good pick as a demon, simply because the protagonist generally fulfills his role. The player gets to determine the fate of the world, has divine judgement, and summons and controls demons. Perhaps the protagonist could be a reincarnation??? I've got a story for you, having lived in south Texas for years. The first woman legally hung in the state was a woman named Chipita Rodriguez. In 1863, a traveller stayed on her porch for the night, and the next day, his body was found in a burlap sack in the river, dead from an axe to the skull. The man had $600 in gold in his saddle bags that wasn't stolen, so profit probably wasn't the motivation. They found blood on Chipita's porch and accused her of the murder. She said nothing through the trial, except a single statement: "No soy culpable" (I am not guilty). They hung her from a tree, but the fall didn't break her neck, and it took a while for her to die. The people of Old San Patricio knew they hung the wrong person, and within a year, it became a ghost town, and the county seat was moved to Sinton. No one ever made amends with Chipita's ghost, however, and a curse still looms over the town. She is often seen wandering the town of Sinton at night, still insisting of her innocence, saying, "No soy culpable" (I am not guilty). The tree she was hung from still stands today. Just wanted to share that one with you.
I'd love to see some fearsome critters from lumberjack folklore added as demons, stuff like the Agropelter, the Hidebehind, and the Wampus Cat would make for interesting, if humorously named, additions while also allowing more varied north American representation
smt demon idea: chess pieces this idea probably sucks but it sounded cool in my head, definitely more interesting than some other demons in the series (looking at you, mitamas) though that's not saying much
Smt + Scp two of my fave things I would love that though I wouldn’t expect it to ever happen. The Hanged King and Ambassador of Alagadda would be so cool as demons
Here are some of the other potential demons for Megami Tensei: Urizen, Humbaba, Morgana Le Fay, Vidal, Heimdall, Mimir, Ratatoskr, Geryon, Baizhu, Sun Wukong, Bull King, Princess Iron Fan, Red Boy, Sodom, Gomorrah, Alastor, Cheshire Cat, White Rabbit, Mad Hatter, March Hare, White & Red Queen, the Beast of Bray Road, and Oklahoma Octopus.
Urizen is in SMT 3 Nocturne as the red minion that the demon Entity Albion summons as a boss. Humbaba is a Wilder type in Megami Tensei 2, the series before Shin Megami Tensei, and was in a handful of spin-offs like Last Bible. Heimdall was most recently in SMT 4 and 4A as well as spin-offs. Allllll of those guys need to come back.
I think you're onto something with King Solomon. I could not only see him as a Demon but also as the main bad guy of an SMT game. He already has his own comp, demons, and a compendium.
When I was thinking of good ideas for demons in smt one that came to mind is acteon from Greek mythology. He was said to of gazed along a bathing artamis and was turned into a deer who was then eaten by his own dogs.
Problem with creepy pasta is a bunch of the well known ones are having copy right issues like scp 173 had issues with the picture used for it and i believe Slenderman is now owned by Sony pictures etc
If Solomon was a demon I think it would be funny if he had a unique ability that inflicts all demons from the arse goetia with fear and has a small chance to immediatly have them give you an item or money just to get away from you. Something like: "You dare try to challenge u- OH FUCK ITS SOLOMON!"
I’d love to see more demons based around urban legends. Like the Kuchisake-Onna, or the “Slit Mouth Woman”, a malevolent spirit that wields a scalpel and wears a medical mask. She asks ver victims, “Am I beautiful?” and will either murder or maim you depending on the answer. Alternatively, Li Zheng would make for a really good demon design. Li Zheng was a normal man who wanted to be a poet, but he never got the recognition he wanted. One day, he fled society to live in the forest only to discover he transformed into a tiger. The last one I’d want in is either Paul or Babe Bunyan, folktale heros of North America and Canada. Paul was a 7 foot tall lumberjack and Babe was his blue bull. They’re pretty basic but the idea of “giant lumberjack” and “blue bull” could have amazing potential for demon designs
King Solomon and SCPs in Megaten would be absolutely fantastic. Solomon I feel like he would be great a support character, or an important Law rep. 6:52 WE’RE BEING ACKNOWLEDGED AAAA- 🇵🇷
A demon I would *LOVE* to see in SMT games would be the ghost of La Llorona (The Crying Lady). It's a woman who, depending on who tells the story, killed her own baby for some reason and now roams cities with a distinctive crying and sobbing while calling for her son. If she sees a mother with her son or a kid by themselves, she will kill the mother and kidnap the kid
My picks for new demons would be Phenex and Andrealphus. Phenex is a Marquis in the Ars Goetia that takes the form of a phoenix and is one of the few demons that wishes to return to Heaven. I think it'd be cool to have a traditional demon in SMT that could be considered Law aligned. Andrealphus is also a marquis of the Ars Goetia, taking the form of a peacock. He has knowledge of geometry and astronomy, and has the ability to turn men into birds. I just imagine having a unique status effect that turns demons or party members into birds like the "rattled" status in Persona 5.
I'd like to see a drastic redesign of the Carbuncle. The way it's portrayed in Megami Tensei 2 and its Kyuuyaku remake; the only times that the Carbuncle has ever appeared in the series; doesn't at all look like what the Spanish conquistadors claimed to have seen. It's supposed to be a kind of rodent with an armadillo-like jointed shell and six legs alongside the gem in its forehead. I like seeing it as a chinchilla with a jointed shell because it's also South American, and adorable, lol. There's not much that it was said to be able to do, though, unfortunately, so I'm pretty sure it would be an early-game demon still. It can release light from its gem to temporarily blind a predator or a greedy person and turn on the jets out of there, so Sukunda or Masukunda would at least be able to emulate that aspect if there's not really any status that could work as a "Blind" analogue, and I suppose Zio or maybe a Light/Expel attack would work for that, too, though they've never been known to outright attack in real life mythology. Trafuri would also very well work given their tendency to escape, and Rakukaja would very well work given its jointed shell. The gem itself is also said to be able to be crushed into a fine powder that can cure blindness, so healing moves like Patra and maybe Dia could also work. This and the first video do make me wonder if there are any known SMT or Persona fan-design artists like how there are a great many "Fakemon" artists.

What’s SCP?
@@UltimoVice The SCP Foundation, an organization revolving around the containment of anomalies.
I feel like if anything was based on SCP or creepy pasta it would be inspired instead of outright what it is based on.
Indrid Cold
Rumor Race
"Also known as The Grinning Man, an enigmatic being first sighted in 1966. He is known for smiling at almost anyone (or anything) he meets, thus his nickname. Don't be fooled, he can kill anything if need be."
Unknown Doe
Undead Race
"The burnt body of a human being, almost nothing is known of who they were before death. Though they wish to speak their name, all that comes out is murmurs of pain."
Bruh the creepy pasta dog is literally Fenrir
Atlus needs to hire you as a consultant, you’ve nailed exactly what needs to be in SMT VI. I can only hope we’re going to see some contemporary demons in the next game. Amazing video!
Id like to see santa muertes and the Mapinguari.
However i would also really love to see the 7 legendary beasts from Guarani mythology in a future game. In particular the Ao-Ao, the Moñai, Jasy Jatere and the Luison.
Santa Muerte would be a fantastic addition
@@fermosquera69 I would be especially interested in seeing what kind of design they can give for her
@@Birds_In_Crime yeah, I loved the Black Maria design
Heck yeah! Two awesome TH-camrs. Fither rocks
i hope they'll add lovecraftian gods, they added nyarlatotep in persona, but id like they add some more in smt games
100% agree, even if they would be pretty overpowered lol
P5R and 2EP had Byakhee and Hastur.
@@Tony4You they would be good as chaos faction rapresentants/leader like mem aleph in a semi spinnoff like strange journey, ensuring the true freedom by freeing humanity from the reason
or as neutral faction rapresentats, i know, it sounds funny, but in this case i see them from pov of them being aliens rather than gods, as overseers if humanity were worthy to attain the next stage of the evolution
More lovecraftian gods would be nice.
Since you went over Solomon, I wonder if we'll get a game with his reincarnation as the protagonist like with Abel or Aleph
The story of Ereshkigal really took me by surprised and is one of my favorites.
Rather than having Solomon be a demon, i think it’d be interesting if he was a character kind of like an Abel, but without being the protagonist
I've been hoping for more wish list videos!
I wish a few demons would get a redesign. A big one that comes to mind is moth man. He’s comically dumb looking for something that people attribute to calamity.
It'll be funny if we get stuff like Zalgo or lost media as SMT demons
In the same vein as creepypastas to me. That would be cool
Slenderman or something even older like Polybius would be great in devil summoner.
They should definitely add skibidi toilets youtube poops as demons while we're on the topic.
mentioning scp-173 threw me back to my childhood and being terrified of the weeping angels from doctor who. theres just something scary about a monster that only moves when your back is turned and youre fully aware of it
The Fresno nightcrawlers would be a hilarious and cute addition.
I know David most not as "someone who killed Goliath" but as "someone who loved Johnatan more than any woman" :D
I feel like at least having reference in the games that solomon is actually the technical true originator of the demon summoning program could be neat
If Solomon were adedd to SMT, I'd imagine he'd be a special fusion requiring at least a few Goetia demons.
Holy shit imagine that he attacks like Raidou in Nocturne. He pulls out other demons for spells.
Oh that's awesome! Hello to you and your wife as well! That story was pretty interesting, I love those more modern stories or horror
I could not hear about Ereshkigal and not think about the cute and just ruler from Fate Grand/Order Babylonia.
Bloody Mary would make a great demon in SMT! I don't know if that's already been done. I've only played the devil survivor games.
I'd love to see some fearsome critters from lumberjack folklore added as demons, stuff like the Agropelter, the Hidebehind, and the Wampus Cat would make for interesting, if humorously named, additions while also allowing more varied north American representation
Amazing video overall! In SMT series it would be cool to see Buddha in some later entries.
I think Buddha was in 4 Apocolypse
smt demon idea: chess pieces
this idea probably sucks but it sounded cool in my head, definitely more interesting than some other demons in the series (looking at you, mitamas) though that's not saying much
maybe they could be frosts or something, king frost does already exist after all
in persona they'd have these arcanas:
king: emperor
queen: empress
bishop: hierophant
knight: chariot
rook: tower
pawn: fool
Smt + Scp two of my fave things I would love that though I wouldn’t expect it to ever happen.
The Hanged King and Ambassador of Alagadda would be so cool as demons
I imagine Digital Devil Saga would profit heavily from, well... digital devils.
Well it would profit heavily if we ever get HD remasters released on PS4, PS5, Switch, PC, etc.
Ereshkigal is also the name of a tome in Fire Emblem 7. I didn't know where the name came from but I thought it sounded familiar.
Oh hell yeah 173! I remember playing some games based of him 10 years ago.
It's my boi Fither. Been watching the man for over half a decade. Legend
King Solomon would be a good persona for the navigator character
NEW IDEA: INDIE SMT GAME FULL WITH CREEPYPASTAS AND SCP ENTRIES AS DEMONS + ITS A SOUL HACKERS SEQUEL CENTERED AROUND RUMORS POSTED ON TABLOIDS
Now do "More Women I Wish Were More In SMT" next.
Beaches and shores.
That sounds interesting to me.
you should do an SCP/creepypasta video to see which of your favorite SCPs goes with which race!
When I was thinking of good ideas for demons in smt one that came to mind is acteon from Greek mythology. He was said to of gazed along a bathing artamis and was turned into a deer who was then eaten by his own dogs.
You can fight king solomon as a boss battle in shadow hearts covenant lol
Great video
These are some great picks I would love to see. There design’s could be sick!
Problem with creepy pasta is a bunch of the well known ones are having copy right issues like scp 173 had issues with the picture used for it and i believe Slenderman is now owned by Sony pictures etc
Personally I would love to see either King Leonidas of Sparta Merlin and King Arthur
I would love to see the jersey devil added to the series or a skinwalker. They could both be cool mid level demons.
Jersey devil is in the game actually haha. Skin walker would be amazing though
I see you work with hindsight and decided to make lore video on demons before they are added to any game
Very efficient method indeed
They should add the Headless Horseman as a demon.
I prayed for the day this video would release
God has willed it! The sequel is here!
@@Tony4You Hell yeah!
The title of your video is me towards my friends when I arrive at work on a Monday 😂
Loveland Frog is dope too.
My go-to for all things SMT
Keep it up
Thank you! Hope you'll keep enjoying the content!
Honey wake up! Tony4you just uploaded!!
Day 1 gang!
i would love to see Boudica as either a new demon or as a Persona as she is the archetype for the warrior queen
Excellent video as always!!
The Squonk has a great Genesis song to boot! Catnip for Meguro I'm sure
