As a single female with no kids of my own, thank you for sharing your family moments with us viewers especially, viewers like myself. Your family energy brings me lots of warmth and joy! God bless you and your family. ❤️
Thank you for opening your home to us! I don't have children either and it was special seeing them all involved but the bonus is they're learning for the future! Your soups look delicious and I wish I could reach through my phone and grab a bowl, especially the borscht! I look forward to watching more videos and sharing them with others!
I'm not Jewish, but very much believe in Torah and the biblical feasts to be celebrated! I love how the little ones help you cook, not only is it support for you but a wonderful skill they'll carry with them for life. If I ever doubted the woman in Proverbs 31 could be possible, I know now your are HER. You're an inspiration as a woman, and if G-d one day blesses me with a family of my own, you will be encouragement to give them my all. Shalom, and may Adonai make His face shine upon you and your loved ones.
Once you learn that you should not eat dairy with meat......you need to eat parve with meat, you might find it challenging. Even the microwave has be Kocher
“My first time in forever!” Priceless moment 💕 thank you for sharing your delicious recipes but that part was actually the best🌻 Your children are precious.
I really admire the fact that even though you have five kids and a full time job, you make the effort to cook fresh, healthy, delicious homemade meals for your family! I don’t think too many young moms do that anymore. And it’s so great that your kids will eat so many veggies! God bless you, Sonya!
Love the Prep kids joining in! They make what they eat and eat what they make, and are all such great helpers! Soon Mom can just put up her feet up after a long busy day and the 5 Junior Preppers can take over! Seriously, involving them in the kitchen from a young age was so smart! Instead of being in front of screens for hours, they are learning important life skills - boys and girls alike! Love our “Prep” family!
Sonja, I LOVE soup so I will be making this Borscht for sure - I've never had Borscht so this will be a first for me! I cannot tell you enough how inspiring you are and how much I appreciate you and learning about my Jewish Heritage!! We lost so much of our Misch family at Dachau and I've told you how my mother was so afraid to tell us she was Jewish until she was on her death bed - but I am so very happy I finally know my heritage and why I was always, always drawn to Jewish people. In school 98% of my friends were Jewish and I also celebrated the holiday - even though I didn't know at the time that I WAS in fact Jewish! Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha So many stories to tell, but I won't go on. Thank you Sonja, for being my support and my inspiration!!! Love to you and your beautiful family!!!
It's not borscht was she made-Iam Russian and borscht is our tranditional soup. Snoya made a vegatable soup, not borscht. It's delicious I am sure, but it's not borscht
I am now starving! Your daughter’s pure joy at cracking an egg was absolutely the best. Her sense of pride and accomplishment is wonderful. I love how you let your children help you in the kitchen. They are learning so many skills while having a special time with Momma. I hope you have a great week and a blessed Shabbat in the upcoming weekend.
Once again Sonja, you have really OUTDONE yourself!!!😄💯❤Soups are a wonderful idea now that the weather has definitely turned winter. Love your children being close to you in the kitchen, helping with the prep, and wonderful family time!!! Looking forward to your next post!
Borscht is the Ukrainian national dish. Borsch is considered a national Ukrainian first course, although it has a place in the culinary fund of Russia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, and Moldova.
SONYA EVERYTHING LOOKED SO DELICIOUS, THE CHILDREN SURE LIKE TO HELP THAT IS SO NICE ALSO THAT YOU LET THEM HELP OUT THANKS FOR SHARING SONYA 🥰♥️🦋🦋🦋🌻🌻🌻🐝
Oh my goodness! The kiddos are amazing! And, these videos are so helpful in showing parents that a healthy, homemade meal is possible after work. 😊 Finally, thank you for the Borscht recipe. It’s been on my bucket list and I am now re-inspired! Much love to you and your family!
I find that kids enjoy borsch. Sometimes I make for American guests and they are often amazed that their kids actually eat it. I don’t add any consome, all natural.
You are a beautiful lady raising a bunch of lovely children. I love the way you are gently domesticating your children and on a lighter note you know how to choose the words. Take care and keep doing
I love this! My daughter is 6 and absolutely loves to cook with me. Today, she helped me bake the Challah bread and mashed potatoes for our Friday night meal.
I love your videos , it’s calming to listen to you speak and do your videos . And you are so vibrant and strong and the recipes are something I want to try. You make being a working mom doable. Thank you is what I am trying to say!
Love that the kids are so involved! Your daughters reaction to cracking her first egg was priceless. I love the pastry meat dish. It's a good dish to make for a fast dinner, even for hungry adults with fries &a salad. Always learn new things from you & enjoy the time. Thank you so much for sharing your family.
I cried watching this video with your sweet girls! My babies are 23 and 19 now and I miss them being home and loving to help me cook. I love your videos so much and also have gained some good recipes from you! I love to cook so I get excited each week to see what you’re going to make! 🥰
This shows the saying, collect memories and not things is truly spot on. Thank you for sharing your lovely and precious memory making with us. Oh, and it goes without saying....thank you for sharing your amazing recipes. :) And your kids are gems.

Sonya you are amaizing woman ,i have learned from you,and i cant stop watching your videos. Love you and your family so much💖💖😘😘 greetings from Holland
Sonya you are the bomb! You are my hero, my role model, my motivator! You make it seem so easy with these easy recipes. It all starts in the head! If you think it's hard complicated recipe, and trying to juggle family life and cooking it will be a drag. But you are helping me change my life and attempting to succeed in being a mother and a wife! Hashem bless you and your family and give you shalom!
Awww Mary, so sweet. You know what they say, half the battle is in the head- so its absolutely true what you are saying. We tend to psych ourselves out when in reality we are capable of so much once we quiet the insecurities.
I sprinkle beetroot with lemon not to loose the colour, also making this soup with beef broth ( using the ox tails ). That's our love forever soup , even my husband who is not a fan of soups , loves it))) thank you for your cosy videos!!
THAT first soup looks So Scrumptious !!!! I call this, "Food AromaTheropy !!!". I can smell, & almost taste this, just watching you make this, on my phone !!! 💙💜💙💜💙
Hi Sonya ! Hope your Thanksgiving was great! It makes me so happy to see your kiddo’s with you in the kitchen they are going to be amazing cook’s they’ve learned from the best mommy! 🥰
Your kids are precious and yummy. So nice that you let them help in the kitchen. I never had the patience. But that was a long time ago. My grandchildren do help their mother.

Miriam grew up so much since my favorite video of baking challah. Since that video I been baking challah, that’s my absolutely favorite recipe. Thank you Sonya & Miriam Shalom from Alaska ❤️✡️❄️🇺🇸
Lately I've been adding garlic and ginger after towards the end of cooking - because these ingredients are highly good for health I don't want them cooking too long and also I love the strong taste garlic and smell of ginger. You are training your girls and boys well by teaching them to cook. In this way, once they leave the house for college, they'll be able to cook. It is a life long skill good to have and handy
