@@DefiantOffroad Very true.....but that's what makes it's fun. I do get anxious in some new situations and environments, but sometimes something in me wants to accomplish the experience.
cool. i enjoy videos with a little background music and a little narration, but it's also nice to take a break from that here and there and just see what its like riding down the trail.
I'm glad you enjoyed it. I got a random whim to do things a little differently, and sort of take a step back to how I started out, except with better camera work and editing 🤣
I've actually been down this one before. It's just up the parkway from Mt. Mitchell, right? The water level looked fairly low in this one. That river can be a bit nutty when it's rained a lot up there.
Yep, that's the one! I think that I first ventured down it about 12 or so years ago after leaving Mt. Mitchell. The river was nuts that day, but for this trip, it didn't look like it had rained out there for a while!
It looks like a fairly wide FSR. The map shows it being right by Mt. Mitchell...I'm planning to go there soon. Do you think there would be any problems towing a small trailer?
Perfect watch for a Sunday!
Thanks for sharing 😎
Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it. You never know how it's going to turn out when you deviate from your norm.

Nothing like a nice quiet ride through the forest!
Exactly!
I almost felt like I was there! 🤙
I'm glad you enjoyed it! Thanks!

Yeah, it was a refreshing change. It definitely made editing a lot easier!
Very good video 👍 👍😃
Thank you!
I found this video...oddly relaxing.
Glad you liked it! I got a random urge to do something a little different with this one.
This was definitely different from your usual videos. Not bad, just different! Just hearing the trail kind of made it seem like I was there.

If you like waterfalls, you are in the right area. There are a bunch!
Indeed!
Very enjoyable. Did you ever use your 4 wheel drive on this one?
thanks! never used the 4WD on this one. It's just a dirt/gravel road. I-264 in Norfolk is rougher than this one!

Were there many campsites there?
Not a lot, but the ones that are there are pretty decent.

Yeah, it's super basic. No problem whatsoever with a small trailer.
