Thank you for taking a closer look at these and actually talking about play-ability for kids! While I love these for myself, I do get them for my daughter to actually play with.
These are honestly fantastic budget dolls. The sculpts are gorgeous, the qaulity of the dresses is decent and they are a good price. I love how much effort they put into their designs and made them look fun. When I saw F1 Anna, Aroura, and Ariel at my store I couldn't leave them behind. They were so pretty I had to buy them. I might just have to start a collecton. 😂 p.s: the Rainbow Brite drawing in the background gave me so much Nastolga 😭 loved her so much when I was young.
I found your review on accident and I love your energy! I am also relieved to know that I am not the only one who was bothered by the redesign for Cinderella. I have the Belle from this set and love her so much. Oddly, I got her at Walmart and not Target. I hope you are right about the marketing leaning more towards movie accurate designs for the princesses. I hope they release a Aurora in her 'Briar Rose' outfit at least once. It is neutral, but the design is so lovely I think. Have a fantastic spring.

I think Mattel has great sculptors my absolute favorite shoes sculps are from them sometimes I wish they painted those shoes more often
