It’s amazing the differences. So many details to notice about each.
I didn’t think each of them would look so different until I started looking at them all at the same time!
New viewer here. I came across your channel through kelsey and the closet's doll tag video. Your rapunzel "problem" sounds like my pocahontas "problem" and Cinderella "problem" you can never have enough 😂 I like almost every pocahontas and Cinderella doll and want so many of them😂 personally out of the rapunzel and Eugene dolls you showed I prefer the disney store versions of them both. I like the second disney Eugene you showed with the belt buckle better, but I prefer both of them over the one you like. I guess i just prefer them to look closer to their movie versions. Now if tangled had come out in the 90s I guarantee I would love the dolls from that better. There's just something about 90s princess dolls faces that I love. Especially the mattel versions. They just look so sweet. I'm actually surprised on pascal though. I prefer the mattel version over the disney store one. To me his face looks more like the character than the disney store version. I am disappointed that disney didn't give Eugene an actual pouch bag though, or a full belt or separate vest and shirt. Being a more expensive version you would think he'd of had those extra details. Anyways this was a great video and I'm definitely subscribing!

It’s funny but when I watched the video back, I didn’t like the Mattel Eugene as much as I did while recording-I think he must have looked better in person 😅 The 90s Mattel Disney dolls were so amazing!!! I really wish I could have gotten all the ones from back then-their outfits and facemolds and accessories were so good!! Yeah it’s surprising to me the Disney versions of Eugene didn’t have an actual belt/pouch and that the vest he wore wasn’t a true vest.
@@kristinaland thank you! 😊 I'm trying to see how many of the 90s ones I can get ahold of myself. I'm particularly interested in Pocahontas and Cinderella, but I really would like to have every character. Obviously not every version of each character, but definitely my favorites of each of them. This is where pocahontas and Cinderella are going to get me in trouble, because there's so many of each of them that i love😂 yes the amount of accessories dolls used to come with back then is like a dream nowadays. Every time I manage to get one with all their original accessories and compare it to modern day standards, it amazes me that that was the standard back then and it wasn't even conceivable that you could pay 8 to 10 dollars and get only a doll with no accessories and part of her outfit being non removable. Even the cheap 5 dollar beach barbies back then at least came with goggles, or a surf board that you'd cut out of the back of the box, or maybe both, and definitely a hairbrush. Oh good grief the amount of hairbrushes I have collected over the years 😂 if you're willing to hunt for them, ebay and mercari have TONS of the 90s disney dolls for sale, and even some still in the boxes if you're willing to pay a little more. But it's easy to find them out of the box with their accessories too.
@@kelseypeterson5172 I will need to look for them on eBay! I look on Craigslist or Facebook marketplace but haven’t seen any of them on there. I have Belle and the Beast from then (though I don’t have Belle’s gold dress anymore and I gave Adam a haircut as a kid which doesn’t look very good 😂)

I have a Mattel Rapunzel doll that I got at Target on my birthday last week, she's a singing Rapunzel doll. I haven't opened her yet or my Mattel Pochahontis and Belle dolls either. I have so many adventures for them in my head. I also have a shimmering Ariel doll where her dress is glittery and pretty and a light up Elena doll with Zuzo.
Oh wow! I didn’t know they made a Mattel singing Rapunzel doll! I’ll have to be on the lookout for her! I love that you have adventures planned for them! 😄

I think the best playline Rapunzel that's ever been released is the Tangled the Series Rapunzel that had the extra long hair. To me, they captured her face so beautifully from the arts style of the shoe, her dress was descent in terms of quality, and her hair was pretty and long
If it’s the Disney Store Tangled the Series doll, I have that Rapunzel! 😄 I haven’t played with her hair too much so she just sits on my shelf looking pretty. 😊
I think Pascal is one of the cutest things in the movie.
He is truly so adorable and I love that they gave Rapunzel a less conventional sidekick 😄

I really do love the Mattel Rapunzel a lot more than I thought I would! I think I would like the Mattel Flynn more if I didn’t have the 2018 Disney Store Flynn. I can’t tell which Pascal I like best though 😄
Mattel used to make Pascal so creepy.
I used to have the old Mattel version of Rapunzel and Pascal but I think I gave them to Goodwill so I don’t remember what the old Mattel Pascal looked like, though I know he didn’t really look like his animated version.
@@kristinaland he used to have these white eyes with the smallest black dot painted in the middle. It was so creepy.

Hahaha yes we do both have dark curly hair and green eyes. It’s a little sad Disney had to make a villain with those features and not a princess 😅

Mattel does an amazing job with their face sculpts where they almost look like they stepped out of the movie!
Tangled the movie is so much better then the series.
I do like the series (though not every episode), but the movie is definitely better to me, too 😄
The first season is great. The second and third seasons aren’t great.
@@officialgamerjackzgamer I like the mystery and intrigue later in the third season, though it felt very rushed. The second season wasn’t quite as good to me.
