The first gen of Snapdragon Processor is like M1 chips, they were OK but you know what? we are on M4 Gen and they are awesome, they deserve to be bought. I think you should wait for 2 years for Gen3 or Gen4 of Snapdragon processors and then try these surface, still, they are so expensive and overpriced.
Fair enough, in an ideal world, but many people, including companies are at their upgrade cycle point and need to buy now. It makes a compelling case all these SDX processor devices... just the compatibility that's a question mark. Hmmm... go safe with Ultra or future proof (potentially) with SDX. Tough choice.
Sure, it's great if you don't want to do very much with it. I've already seen it can't handle gaming. And, since it has to emulate everything, it severely hobbles it. My Surface Pro 7, even now, is able to function as a Digital Audio Workstation and run virtual instruments. The new one is garbage by comparison.
@@cpufrost Its more like 2/3 for AMD. It really depends on what you do with it. Personally, I cannot use ARM for now because Linux doesn't really work very well with these new Qualcomm SoCs at the moment. Maybe in a year, two, or three, things will change. But yeah, try the Minisforum V3.
You actually can run Adobe Premiere Pro on it cause I have already. You have to install it on an x86 machine and copy the root folder over to the ARM Surface. It works on Premiere Pro 23, but I couldn't get 24 to work. It runs pretty well too.

Google Drive doesn't work on it? 😮
Screen door effect. The only thing that kept me away from touch laptops will keep me away from Surface tablet too.
Not all of them have it. I have the Lenovo Slim 7x, and its OLED touchscreen does not suffer this problem.
Tough choice.
can you make a review of the surface laptop 7? 😀😀
Already working on it!
Please Make a PWM flicking test, and also battery life test
If the surface pro oled can use a ryzen cpu like 8845h then will be perfect🥲
Sure if a third of the battery life and 55dB of fan noise is OK...
The most impressive thing for me was the camera XD it was very good compared to most laptops
The camera is great!
You actually can run Adobe Premiere Pro on it cause I have already. You have to install it on an x86 machine and copy the root folder over to the ARM Surface. It works on Premiere Pro 23, but I couldn't get 24 to work. It runs pretty well too.
Yes I know you can I show it in my Vivobook review but they pulled it from the store. It’s a terrible experience. Best to wait for the arm version
Snapdragon X Elite ❤❤
Can it run x86?
do you think the 32gb ram is necessary?
For this no 16 is fine
