"Queen Of Mean" and "In The Dark Of The Night" are both pretty good, underrated revenge tracks, but "Be Prepared" absolutely deserves the #1 spot. A fantastically written and scored masterpiece that fully lays out Scar's intentions. It's a shame the live-action remake completely butchered it.

Pat Carroll is an amazing Ursula. She is her character more so than anyone else in this movie including Jodi Benson, which is particularly amusing because she's evidently a little old Catholic lady. I still find it funny that "Be prepared" also technically had TWO performers, but It's extremely hard (if not practically impossible) To notice the switch.
"Queen of Mean" definitely has my heart forever! One of my favorites along with "What's My Name?" and "If Only"! I love the offical video Sarah did even more cause it felt more rapper style! Sarah and China were my idols in those movies! Audrey didn't deserve the hand she got handed to, but I loved her princess turned villain arc even more!❤👸👸

@@Sweet_Like_A_Jack_Rose No. Mufasa is the evil one. Scar was the one who ended his tyranny, restored the rights of the hyenas and ended the outdated hereditary system in favor of a meritocracy.
Queen of Mean is my favorite, I fell in love with in when I first heard it on Descendants 3! Honestly, I was a bit disappointed at first that it wasn’t #1! I felt better after seeing “Be Prepared” as 1, that song is iconic!
I believe "Let Me Make You Proud Reprise" should be on the list because it is a very powerful song in contrast to the original with Varian swearing vengeance on Rapunzel and Corona as well anyone who gets in his way of accomplishing his goal of freeing his father. It starts out sad and subtle with help from the piano then the rhythm fires up with help from the drums where the sad song quickly turns into a vengeance song.
The main reason "Be Prepared" is No.1 is because of Jeremy Irons. He's an A-list actor who can sing. He was great until his voice gave out at "You won't get a sniff without me!". With that, I must give Jim Cummings some serious kudos for filling in for him at the last part. I did notice a slight difference, but he did Jeremy Irons some justice.
Both are equally vindictive extremely: Be prepared scares me like Scar tells his plan to kill Mufasa and Simba, and My Lullaby it terrifies me when it says: "Simba can't breathe anymore, I can catch his daughter and Nala cries with grief" ay my heart is horrified to imagine it

Nothing left to lose never seemed like a revenge song to me, but I see it with her choice of words during the song. I think let me make you proud reprise which is another song from rapunzel's tangled adventure should've made the list, because varian sings about wanting to get his dad out of the amber in which he is trapped and wants to get revenge on anyone who turned their backs on him.
Badder from Disenchanted is such a banger, almost like an epic rap battle. It's a perfect duet, or should I say: duelet? Also a song worthy of an honorable mention: Savages from Pocahontas. The Powatan tribe and settlers were about to go to war and John Smith was about to be executed until Pocahontas intervened and delivered the empowering message. This movie may not be 100% historically accurate, but the message it gives is still important to this day.
200: WatchMojo, I remember as a kid that my dad said “why would they make this movie towards children?” But when I watched it years ago, all I know is, I love The Hunchback of Notre Dame. Although Judge Claude Frollo is a twisted villain, he has a heck of a epic villain song

The top Best Disney Revenge Songs that I recognize and enjoy listening to are The Mob Song from Beauty and the Beast, My Lullaby from The Lion King 2 Simba's Pride, Prince Ali (reprise) from Aladdin, Hellfire from The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Poor Unfortunate Souls from The Little Mermaid, Oogie Boogie Song from The Nightmare Before Christmas, Friends on the Other Side (reprise) from The Princess and the Frog and Be Prepared from The Lion King
oh yeah Be prepared is dark and it terrifies me as Scar tells his plan to kill Mufasa and Simba, and My Lullaby is the second for me, it terrifies me when it says: "Simba can't breathe anymore, I can catch his daughter and Nala cries with grief".. Both express the desire for revenge well.. Also: The Queen of Mean, Prince Ali (reprise) and In The Dark of the Night
Something's pulling me It's so magnetic My body is moving Unsure where I'm headed All of my senses have left me defenseless This darkness around me Is promising vengeance The price that I'm willing to pay is expensive There's nothing to lose When you're lonely and friendless So my only interest is showing this princess That I am the queen And my reign will be endless (endless)
More great songs, here are my picks: Revenge is going to be mine-Once upon a time Anastasia-In the dark of the night The little Mermaid-Poor, Unfortunate, souls Be prepared
Ok so who else wants to see Jeremy Irons as Judge Frollo in the live action Hunchback of Notre Dam film? We know he has the vocals so long as he doesn't push it too much.
May be I am wrong but I always thought of "I Put A Spell On You" was a revenge song by Winnie and her sisters for their hanging by the town about three entries earlier.
Definitely hell fire and be prepared is probably the most darkest villain songs! I think hell fire should have been number two. Not poor unfortunate souls.
And yet Descendants had villains songs better Hades rocking out about doing what you gotta do And the LEGEND playing Maleficent in the first Descendants doing Evil Like Me Also I never knew Anastasia was a Disney movie.
Was Do What You Gotta Do really a revenge song though? I always saw it as more of an explanation as to why Hades abandoned Mal and left her to be raised by Maleficent. I do agree though that there were better revenge songs in the franchise, specifically What's My Name
I adore “The Lion King 2: Simba’s Pride”, but it’s undeniable it traces the original classic in many scenes (case in point, Zira’s song and for example the opening number _He lives in you,_ a clear remake of Circle of life). Still, it’s a kick-a*s sequel that doesn’t shame the original.
The anastasia musical has a really good revenge song (actually several) sooooooo if yall ever want to do a best broadway revenge songs id watch that and suggest that to the list

196: It’s awesome to see Nothing Left To Loose on this list
R.I.P. Suzanne Pleshette Voice Of Zira From Disney's The Lion King 2 Simba's Pride
There couldn’t have been another song at the top of this list!!
I'm glad Pat Carroll convinced them to give Ursula a villain song
Do the top 10 worst things D.W. Read has done in Arthur
IN the Dark Of The Night is so good!! It’s in my top five favorite Disney villain songs ever
Thank god queen of mean made the list
Yzma's Snuff out the light never gets love :(
Something's pulling me
It's so magnetic
My body is moving
Unsure where I'm headed
All of my senses have left me defenseless
This darkness around me
Is promising vengeance
The price that I'm willing to pay is expensive
There's nothing to lose
When you're lonely and friendless
So my only interest is showing this princess
That I am the queen
And my reign will be endless (endless)
More great songs, here are my picks:
Revenge is going to be mine-Once upon a time
Anastasia-In the dark of the night
The little Mermaid-Poor, Unfortunate, souls
Be prepared
Ok so who else wants to see Jeremy Irons as Judge Frollo in the live action Hunchback of Notre Dam film? We know he has the vocals so long as he doesn't push it too much.
If Zira was supposed to be singing a lullaby song to Kovu she's a liar and sinner
Poor unfortunate souls is one of the best
"Be prepared" makes me want to watch a spin-off series or movie about scar which would ultimately end with scar singing the song
Which Disney revenge song do I find compelling? that's easy 🎶 BE PREPARED🎶
6:17 it’s so unique and one of a kind and special
It did spice up the fairy tale genre that’s true
199: It’s no wonder Scar and Zira is Disney’s evil couple. Okay, I know they’re not together but have Be Prepared and My Lullaby as a wicked duet
Be Prepared is very powerful
As much as I love Queen of Mean, I always thought that What's My Name is the better revenge song in the Descendants franchise
OMG STARTING WITH OUAT AKA MY FAVORITE SHOWWWWWWW I REALLY LOVED THIS ONE
So happy Be Prepared is No.1. Always be the best. I love Poor Unfortunate Souls too. And Hellfire. But definitely the right No.1 for sure.
And yet Descendants had villains songs better
Hades rocking out about doing what you gotta do
And the LEGEND playing Maleficent in the first Descendants doing Evil Like Me
Also I never knew Anastasia was a Disney movie.
Was Do What You Gotta Do really a revenge song though? I always saw it as more of an explanation as to why Hades abandoned Mal and left her to be raised by Maleficent. I do agree though that there were better revenge songs in the franchise, specifically What's My Name
@@NYChica23 they didn’t say revenge songs they said villain songs in general
"Anastasia" isn't a Disney movie, but they own it now.
My Favorite Disney Villain Revenge Song has to be one of Scar’s other songs called: (When I Led The Guard) or How I Got My Scar)
I wasn’t even allowed to watch hunchback until I was 13, but to be fair I grew up in a catholic home
Old Classic Disney is THE BEST!
2020 Disney is not Disney the same way Disney Star Wars is not Star Wars
Agreed, I miss Classic Disney, they were the best.
For once, I agree with most of these.
The anastasia musical has a really good revenge song (actually several) sooooooo if yall ever want to do a best broadway revenge songs id watch that and suggest that to the list
Could u do top 10 Disney villan hero duets especially from Disney shows like Elena of Avalor and Sofia the first
