  • Sorry I forgot to post this as it should come before carb refurb part one. It is not necessary to remove the carbs from the backing plate to rebuild them unless you want each separate carb to work on or clean. Honda 400 4

    I have just bought a 400/4 and have about the same experience as you,I have restored two honda CB750/4's and this time I want to have a crack at my own engine instead of paying somebody else,thank you for the videos I find them very inspiring,keep it up!!

    Your videos are excellent and really helpful. I am currently restoring a 400/4 and have got loads of help from what you have posted. Don’t let the negative eejits put you off your work is appreciated.

    Any one that can take on a quad carb
    Project and succeed
    Is a champ by all means
    To get all four cylinders running
    No leaks
    All plugs correct tan
    No bogging
    No flat spots
    No over flow
    Thats a strong person to
    Face that kind of challange
    I am one of those novices.

    There's only one way to learn and that is to strip it down and find out how it works otherwise you end up paying someone else who does exactly the same as what we're doing and how they learnt to do the job . 👍👍

    love the content :) don't worry about what these keyboard warriors have to say, i don't have a CB400 currently but I am planning on getting one and doing the exact same and using your videos as a reference... i am not a mechanic, i am just someone who wants to learn :) keep it up chap :) you are amazing!!!!
