The drums are simple but incredibly groovy.
It's a modest mix of bass, but it seems to swim freely.
The guitar makes sweet and sentimental yet sharp cutting.
The beauty of the electric piano's reverberant sound is exceptional.
And of course the vocals .. .I can't write any more because I'm about to cry.
Marvin gaye was one of the best vocalist of all time rest in peace

The music is perfect, what a performance. BUT that recording of the video.. what a mess, way too many short clips, breaks on the wrong times.. Please let this editor make the new Britney Spears music video, and go find a talented editor for your next video Alessio.
Complimenti anche a Bertallot per aver mixato con intelligenza e conoscenza della storia dell'R&B
mas quem esta a cantar ?
There is no doubt these guys can play their instruments, but the vibe and feeling of the original is lost. Drums are too loud, keyboard part too fancy with too much echo. The original subtle conga led rhythm, string arrangements and oboe complimented the vocal and created a vibe and feel that sends shivers down my spine, ... this is a bunch of albeit talented players who are too busy showing off their prowess on their instruments to remember why the original was so good. Even using Marvin's original vocal is not enough to retain the most critical ingredient of the original... soul.
LesMixdoctorAdams it's called experimentation, jazz, etc. and these musicians can stamp a lot more of their personality on this than they're choosing to do. DJs remix, this is refreshing to see musicians claiming some of that back. you're entitled to your opinion, and I'm inclined to prefer the original myself, but I give it credit for trying something different.
Of course, and I hope my comments were not taken with offence. These guys are talented musicians and experimentation is good, I just don't think "jazzing up" such a classic works in this case and detracts from Marvin's vocals. For me the experiment failed. Yes, it is only my option, but that I'm afraid my opinion is the only opinion I can give. For me it showed a lot of musical talent, but completely devoid of any soul.
+LesMixdoctorAdams Please: remember that is a LIVE RECORDING for a radio show.
Why don't you send here an audio file of you doing it the way you think it should be done.? we are all very curious to hear you pearl!! Otherwise you are cordially invited to STFU! With an optional B in the end!!
Any recording that keeps the music of the late great Marvin Gaye alive is alright in my book. Remember, the great Donny Hathaway covered this tune with his own version, a lot of that including jazz harmony, less than 1 year after Marvin's original release. Each was welcomed equally
とってもソウルフルなスピリッツを感じます☆(●^▽^)ニコッ
Wayyyyyyyy too many crash shots...
ギターのオッサン糞かっけえw
I don't think it works. Sound sgreat but it doesnt' fit.
One another comment for #LesMixDoctor...#, are you a musician ? Shure, not. Because first of all is not Marving singing. Are a musician, shure not
Nice vocals but the bass and guitar and keys and drums are soulless and utterly awful. I reserve special disdain for the guitar player who is 3 entire universe's away from hitting anything like an appropriate note.
nice vocals ????? 🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃🤐🤐🤐🤐🤐🤐🤐🤐🤐🤐
Really?? That’s Bluey Maunick from incognito on the guitar, plus brand new heavies and others. Mans a genius.
bad mix!!!!
