      I know you had a garlic and herb turkey recipe!!! Bc my last ingredient is 1 serving of love . I wrote down recipe last November ….but was looking for video to hear and see and follow instructions. I’m not a great cook at all but I made this recipe last year ( my first turkey ) and everyone loved it . I was asked to make it again this year !! 😩 can you please post repost the video !     The best tamale is the day after Christmas or new years, and you warm them up on a comal till the outside of the tamale is just a little burnt. 👌

      I thought I was translating it right. I got a small IP a few months ago and love it. I am using it for things I am too lazy to pull out the 8 or 10 quarts ones out to use. Very handy!

      Those are the best chiles for tamales and every dish that requires red Chile!!!! I personally don’t like guajillo just because it’s too sweet for my liking! ☺️

    Hi there, I’ve been making tamales for the past few years and every year I seem to find a video to help me get better. I was so pleased with this video. I just had to adjust adding more arina due to my areas humidity level. Masa was perfect! Meat delicious flavor. I will definitely use this method moving forward.

    🌴🌺 Thank you!!! I’m going to make these. Reminds me of my grandparents when they made them all together. My mom and her 3 sisters would sit around the table and make all the tamales. We’d have two large pots full. We have a big family. My grandparents have passed but I will pass this making of tamales on to my family. 🙏

    Made tamales today too 😅 pollo en chile verde, cheese and jalapeño and sweet ones 😁 didn’t have enough time to make a Champurrado 🤣 just finished cleaning all my pots ☺️ all the hard work it’s worth it for my familia 😜😊

      Do you need to dry the husks before putting the stuff on??

      @@sabrinavargas7368 I don’t dry them completely. I just take a bunch of them out of a boiling pot of water and place them on a tray and grab them as I use them.
      If the husks get hard again I throw them back into the boiling hot water to soften them. This works for me every time

    My mom used to make and sell Tamales in the early 90’s, they were the best but she made then with a Tamale machine. I have tried every tamale that I come across and nothing compares to hers. I wish I could try yours, they look good.

    Made the beef tamales and they were delicious then I went on to make the pork and instead of boiling the ingredients for the sauce in a separate pot, after the pork was done in the instant pot I added everything for the sauce into the pork broth, set it on the Broth/sauce setting for 20 minutes and it came out super!!

    Guuuurrrlll...Im in my first year of culinary school and this christmas is gonna be a Cooking Con Claudia Christmas. Yesterday I did the green chicken Tamales, today I woke up to my beef in the crock pot for these yummies and making my rice cooking mixture today for Saturday and got those beans sorted and waiting for a cooking and smashing!!!       When recording tamales specially it takes me 5 hours😅 this is me doing step by step. When it’s me cooking with no camera it’s a lot less that’s because I be using my whole stove at one , like boiling chiles while waiting for the meat, or so on.

    Any ideas on how to make a small batch of tamales? 🫔 I want some homemade ones so bad but my fam are not the biggest fans. I’d like to make like 2 dozen, no more then that

      You can use half of everything she used in the video. Also you can freeze the tamales in plastic bags before steaming them then steam in small batches as you crave them.

    I've never tried chuck roast before....
    Pork butt or shoulder with NM chile. Gotta try your twist..thanks
    BTW, those who don't use NM chile, you guys ate missing what real chile tastes like #1
