Thank you very much to everyone who watched the series. I very much appreciate you and I love hearing from you in the comments! Even if it is to give me constructive feedback!
Just had a chance to watch episode 3. YES, for sure, keep making videos. And, YES, for sure, they are AWESOME! Anybody who appreciates nature would appreciate your videos. I love that we can experience your adventures with you. The singing was great, as was your moose call. So peaceful riding in your video canoe. I agree that it is hard to be lonely in nature. Being alone doesn’t mean being lonely. When I’m in nature I WANT to be alone. Thank you for sharing with us!
Muchly appreciated! My singing is terrible though and my moose call is worse LOL! I think this episode had the worst of all the moose calls. Thank you so much for watching!
I'm in awe...of all of it. The quiet, the beauty all around you, and how you take this on, all by yourself! It must be incredible to experience this first hand, but do you ever get lonely?
Thank you very much! I have done many trips in perfect conditions and many in difficult ones. I tend to remember the difficult ones with more fondness. I think that speaks to the reason we get out there...nature is unpredictable and that is why we love it!
Awesome Job! Really enjoyed the series and looked like an awesome trip considering the rain. Really made me want to get in the Backcountry and look forward to more!
What an awesome ending to a fantastic series!! Thank you so much for sharing this journey with us. I very much hope you film more in the future if you enjoy doing it that is! You said photography 0, but I thought the three pics you showed us were super cute. I feel like the moose thinks he's hiding but he doesn't realize his giant antlers are sticking out. ☺
Beautiful backcountry.....I believe the owl at the beginning of this episode is a Boreal Owl, which is described as "seldom seen or photographed".....I saw a pair of them years ago while on a solo wilderness backpack mule deer hunt in Holy Cross Wilderness in Colorado, and got a great photo of one of them with a point & shoot camera...I did not kill a deer on that trip but seeing those little owls is a great memory....on these backcountry trips many times it's the little things that make a trip memorable
Thanks for watching. I am putting together an abbreviated version of the trip. I will include more details there. Not seeing anyone had more to do with the season and weather than the location in the park. Thanks again!

Thank you! I enjoy tripping with good friends and family as well, but to me, there is nothing like the experience of being alone in the wilderness!
Some shots during the paddle were so picturesque. The outro was hilarious. Keep it coming.
Thank you very much!! I appreciate you watching and putting a comment out!
