Haven't posted in awhile but I've been busy tripping and editing. Next 7 day video should be ready for next weekend ❤ (edit) sorry I'm having technical difficulties with the video. I had a render banner in part of the video from editing and instead of cutting it in the TH-cam editor I made the entire video the 5 second clip of the render banner frames 🤦♂️ video should be up again in a little bit
counting down the days!
🙌🙌
Budnick Acid video coming soon
I tried clicking Analyse for you, it didn't work.
@@ELYESSS try again thank you
Bro, please never stop posting. You have brought me out of a super dark place. Just from the simplistic calm videos that you make. You have given me a drive to get out in the outdoors again and camp and fish and hunt. Thank you for all of that.
Bro do it! Getting into hiking was the reason I gave up a 5 year opiate addiction, I relapsed like 6 months into it but never lost that itch to keep going so I went even as an addict, but finally after 10 years I'm sober. Thanks to the police for beating me, I got across the hump but that's another story. Just get outside!
Right there with you brother! It’s been years but I need it more than ever. Hope you get out there soon 🤘🏻
How does a video bring you out of a dark place? Lol. Instead of viewing life inside of a screen, you should as you stated, get out into the real world and do things like this yourself
@@TheCosmicRealm3 It is called motivation and pulling inspiration from others. You might be in a dark place to comment some dumb shiz like that.
Oh here comes the party 💩 that just feels the urge act smart u der a very random comment @@TheCosmicRealm3
Your channel is literally the only one I don’t skip through the video during sponsorship announcements. They seem sincere coming from you, plus we know the money goes towards helping you create epic content we love so much. ❤

thanks to you I grew the balls to go hike 18 miles in the ozark mountains solo when my friends got sick before the trip. Thank you for being inspiring. I was fine, nothing bad happened and i had a blast.
Love your camera work, editing, and personality! You are so respectful to nature and easy to watch. Keep up the great work!
him not liking or responding to this is kinda crazy
@@stellandymond6552 I'd ask for a refund! How v. dare he? 😛
My grandpa used to take me on fishing trips to Canada every year for about 10 years as a kid. These were some of my most cherished memories with him and really my whole childhood. He passed away 8 years ago and sadly I haven’t been able to make it back to Canada, but watching your videos and seeing the beautiful Canadian nature brings back so many amazing memories. Thanks for your content and keep it up!
Thank you for including the name of the species you encounter. It wad very insightful! I never would have guessed the name Duck-O. The Canadian Crocodile was especially impressive
Ur welcome:)
is that... a crane??? (very obvious heron) absolutely killed me
BIRD.
I really love these videos man. As someone that knows how hard it is to both experience and film in settings like this, i'm super impressed with your ability to capture your adventures the way that you do.
Loved your videos aswell Trent!❤❤❤
Couldn't have said it better! He does such a great job
Awesome. Thank all of you for allowing us to live vicariously

Made me laugh too 😂 did you get it? was it in relation to something or just for lols and to get our attention haha

What was the context of it though?😂 I didnt get it and it was so damn random...but still funny to watch 🤣🤣
Honestly I’m just picturing someone coming to check their trail cams and seeing this shit lol.

I am glad he posted "fishy feet" in the middle of the video or I would never stop hearing it in my head.

33:08 That Crocodile was insane. Extremely ferocious .
It wasn’t a croc … there’s no crocs here in Canada …. That was an otter 🦦
@@oscarariza9552 No that was clearly a crocodile
@@risketo9957 Canadian Croc hhahaha AKA either Beaver or otter …. As I said we don’t have crocs in Canada … the elevation doesn’t permit this type of wild life.
There was nothing ferocious about that croc or whatever bro😂😂😂
croc beaver!
ever since your 5-day solo island surviving video pop out to me, i find your video very soothing and peaceful. the sound of kayaking, fishing, camping, even setup the tarp really makes me want to keep watching. idk why but i love it. keep doing what you love. thank you for the video.
That was literally my first one of xander about 5 weeks ago..havent watched anything else since.
Ive only discovered your channel recently. Going through a really tough time and your vids help and inspire me to get out and get into nature. Please never apologise for the skit... I was drinking and spat my tea out laughing... I dont laugh much these days so thank you for unknowingly helping so many people out there struggling ❤
If you stare deep into into the woods you can see Xander solo camping for the whole 5 days. It was really fast but I still enjoyed it.
😂😂😂
Really excited to see your Yukon trip! I've watched all of Jim Baird's Yukon trips and loved them so it'll be cool to get a different perspective/narrative style on the Yukon
Eze adventurer also did Yukon River I think. His videos are great.
Xander uploads and 6mins after i'm once again enjoying quality content and beautiful scenery! it's so nice to see you enjoying yourself no matter the situation, something breaks Xander: smiles, something gets lost Xander: smiles, bad weather Xander: "where?" much love from Finland once again!
Sweden as well!
I really do enjoy the tranquility of nature seeing through your lenses. Really do appreciate the self- talk that you do to self-motivate yourself. It works! and that’s why your videos are so full of such a variety of great content.
Thank you Xander! Can’t wait to see the Yukon!
“It’s 10 minutes to quarter after 9.” So it’s 5 after 9? lol I found that funnier than I should have I guess !! Another awesome video.
Thought the same 😄😆
Algonquin was my first interior camping experience about 25 years ago when I was a teenager and will always have a special place in my heart. It's also so big that despite going a few times it still feels like there's a bunch of stuff I haven't explored. I ran into a moose on a Portage there once lol. My most recent Algonquin trip followed a similar route you took on this trip. Those portages and landings onto the lakes brought back pretty crisp and vivid memories. Always love your videos. Thanks for another great one.
The day Xander uploads is always a good day.
I haven't seen all of your videos yet, but I have seen a lot and I have to say this is one of the better videos! I laughed out loud so many times and you seem a lot happier in this video! Great work and I hope to see more like it!
(23:17) your wildlife identification skills are top notch 😅
The Canadian crocodile is what got me
...the Yellow-Tipped Jaundice bird. 🤣
I just found your channel and i can not stop watching your stuff. You are amazing. You make me realize that there is more to life than money. Just being in nature like this is so peaceful. Away from phones, the internet and stuff.
Thank you for FINALLY doing an Algonquin trip. I love this place and you can even achieve the seclusion you're talking about if you go deep into the interior of Algonquin. I'm happy you enjoyed it and don't give up on it yet there are so many gems here even for the hardcore paddlers! And I'm saying that having done the Seal river, Missinaibi river, and the dumoine.
lol the Zander fishy feet montage during your portage was absolute gold 😂
Ah yes finally. My precious….
Who else has a immediate flashback to Gollum hunching on his rock in his cave..
Ha ha 😂
I'm paddling back in the cold pouring rain, hadn't seen a soul for 3 days and first person I run into at the put in dock is Xander! It was awesome to meet you and chat, made the trip a memorable one for sure! You're a true professional at what you do, keep up the great work. Glad your trip turned out well, the skit was hilarious! Looking forward to the next one.
Hahah nice meeting you to my man!
Hello from North Carolina. You never cease to entertain and leave me in awe of the places you have in your back yard in the great white north. Thanks for doing what you do.
I'm Kenyan travelling to SA BY road. Before I left, I was watching your videos on my TV the whole day. 😊😊 now I miss my home so much 😊
You are truly fortunate to be able to liv😂 your dream life. I totally enjoy following along through TH-cam as a 70 year old who will probably never have that opportunity. Thank you.
Isn’t it amazing that we can experience life through the eyes of others…..TH-cam is an amazing thing, in my opinion 🥰
First Maxim, now Xander - it's going to be a great evening watching you both today!
Nice to see you back in your area. These are the best ones I believe. And it doesn't matter if you did take the same route either. Just love watching anything you do in your ears.
Can't sleep without watching these videos. I absolutely love nature and hope I can be like you one day.
Xander thankyou because i know now what a Forest horse look like 😂❤
Love ur videos man
got all giddy when i got the notification, you're an artist bro, these videos are amazing, looking forward to this one!
Xander you crack me up ... love the video clip of the "Bird" (around the 23 minute mark of this video). Keep up the good work! Love to see your canoeing adventures. Be safe, be happy and catch lots of fish!!
Awesome video as always! Im almost certain I was one day behind you on that route. Ran into Ted and Jim the following day on the Tim. Looking forward to seeing your Yukon adventure! Cheers 🍻
You can't get that kind of entertainment anywhere else.
Even if you tried.
I love this classy stuff!!
LOL at the 'yellow tipped jaundice bird' you are the freakin' man.
Found your channel via your confab with the Baird's, been following them for years. I have noticed from going back and watching your older videos that now when you meet up or travel with friends it seems to bring out a positive energy in you that can be seen in your videos. As I head into my golden years I can relate as still today I get a soul recharge when planning a trip with friends as much so in the months and weeks leading up to a trip, communicating and planning, and the constant gear updates and sharing via text and meetups, up to and after the trip with like minded friends is better than any focused therapy in my case.
The river, forest, wildlife and nature in general also makes me feel connected to the creator, whoever that may be for others, and throughout life during good times and bad, the outdoors has been my therapy, my place of worship, and has brought me through rough times. Look forward to new content, and hopefully more group sessions as that is where I can really relate, be it the support when hitting that class 3-4 and knowing that the group there will do everything they can to keep me safe, to making and breaking camp and the comradery that keeps a smile on my face and positive attitude, even when things get tough.
The most important thing is to keep on keeping on, cliche as it is, I certainly hope you continue your adventures and throughout you find true peace.
One day, I decided to test my wild theory that canoes could unlock interdimensional travel. I built a special canoe, the "Dimension Hopper 3000," using old radios, a toaster, and a broken clock. I convinced my friend Lila, a botanist, to join me.
We paddled upstream to the fog, and I pulled the toaster lever. Suddenly, we were swirling through a psychedelic tunnel, landing in a river with purple water, glowing trees, and bizarre creatures like opera-singing rabbits.
"Barnaby, how do we get back?" Lila panicked. After some frantic attempts, we reversed the process and landed back home just in time for her conference. She gave me a look that said, "Never again." But I knew she secretly enjoyed it.
Did you see the Sleestacks?
Nothing short of amazing m. Loved the skit you did lol. Was awesome seeing you meet up with friends along the way. Great fishing as well. Love your cooking also. Looking forward to the next one man. And as always safe travels
Xander, can we get a "where are they now" on Patches?
Also the fishy feet scene was amazing
Finally a new one! I'll probably fall asleep before the end. I'm tired since I've been doing a river canoeing introduction this weekend. Can't wait to go on one of those trips!
yesss a Xander Budnick vid, these never fail to calm me down and entertain me
Great video Xander , always fun to watch , love the fishing , cooking, camping , canoeing, aspect of your adventures , very well executed , thanks again for talking us along for the ride …😉
seeing you make pizzas got me excited for tonight! Im going to an italian all you can eat restaurant
I think that your videos are helping me to love the dorky parts of myself, because I'm finding that my favorite parts of yours are the times when you ask people to chant your name, heckle your friends, or do a skit about being teased for having 'fishy feet'
Always keep being you Xander. Your wholehearted silliness and passion for nature keep your videos on my gold tier list
The way you put together videos is so beautiful ❤
I just recently found this channel and I watch you every night to fall asleep. You comfort and inspire someone in a dark place. Thank you.
What a wonderful Saturday to spend it with Xander😊👍🐟
absolutely adore your content. its helped me to get out and explore more of the world and i now cannot fall asleep without one of your videos!
Can’t wait to watch this! Been a huge fan of your content since 2020
I started watching and couldn’t help but find a place to camp and take a week off. The world is very stressful but I always feel calm in the woods, camping, fishing and just relaxing while I explore. I have a wonderful girlfriend who loves the peace just as much as I do and videos like these make me want to record my trips to share with the world but I just can’t bring myself to get the camera out.
Hey, I from Uzhhorod, Ukraine, and I love so much your content, also I love the nature of Canada. With you, I improve my English and i like it, thank you for amazing videos!!! btw Budnick is ukrainian/jewish surname
take care and be safe.
I just came back from a few days solo kayak camping.. enjoy the great outdoors!
Also, I would recommend looking into a Trailblazer Takedown bucksaw.. amazing tool that was gifted to me.. easy to assemble and very conveniently compact to bring along on journies!!
Wow 5 seconds xander really blessing us with this one
I just wanted to say, watching this video this morning has made me super happy, not that I was unhappy, but I'm just excited about life more-so! You inspire happiness and really sucking the marrow out of life. Thank you for sharing your journey, you have a brother for life!
Good to see you kicking around! Enjoy life
Hey, I from Bucha,Ukraine, and I love so much your content, also I love the nature of Canada. With you, I improve my Yiddish and i like it, thank you for amazing videos!!!
So yeah, that was time well spent!! Great trip, great scenery, great fishing...you're such fun and so entertaining, just by being Xander. Oh, and the next time you encounter those school yard bullies, don't stand there and cry...you tell them you know the Baird brothers!
Coffee and maple syrup in my cup and in relax mode watching. 😃
Love the crocs! Please take care of yourself and dont let this channel become a chore. Do this for u ! We are just enjoying it with you
This is therapy. ❤ Thank you.
When we did the port from Queer to Tim R, it was a stinkin' hot day. A stranger carried one of our Grummans for us, and ended up walking behind our 4-year-old daughter who chatted to him the entire way! Then he disappeared, headed west along the Tim while we went East without an opportunity to say thanks. His patient heroism lives on in our memories. We've only paddled in Algonquin and Massassauga so far - the kids being young - but at nearly $50/night for our family, we'll be looking to camp Crown Land in the near future. Just a historical Algonquin loop to check off our list before we branch out. Thanks for the fun video!
Nearly 800k subs! Awesome! Grats man.
Three weeks and 829K 🎉
Thank you AG1 for keeping Xander strong to fight off bears and for continuing making videos like this one

Recently watched a Clay Hayes video, and he mentioned that he watches Xander also. When Clay Hayes goes out of his way to mention you specifically, that’s high praise. Great job Xander! Btw the work you put into filming and getting those amazing shots is not wasted. You should get an award for your cinematography.

I laughed at multiple parts of this masterpiece. The editing, the shot choices, the pure quality of the video is so good. It inspires me honestly.
Is the video only 0:05 seconds long to anyone else?

Yah my bad. I'm fixing it sorry it might be a few minutes 🫠
Hi Xander. I never ever comment on TH-cam videos but yours have got my attention for the better part of the last three months. As a fellow Canadian, I love seeing you exploring the outdoors and what our nature has to offer. I've always wanted to explore more of our wilderness and have had a few opportunities to do so thanks to my job. I wish to experience it as you do in one of your adventures and I wish you the best of luck. I've never gone truly fishing, trapping or hunting but your videos fill me with joy and appreciation for the wildlife we have up in the north. Thank you from a fellow Canadian and thank you for entertaining me in some hard times. Love you, bud.
I'm sorru but I had to add 'Hopefully some of this stuff burns' by some Canadian in his fucking CROCS. That is hilarious to me.
Once again, I'm sorry to intervene but I heard you were going to Yukon. I have a couple friends that have worked there in the past. If you need any tips, let me know! Once again, love your content and keep pushing through!
Was that a wedding ring?
no right hand
I started watching your video 2 days ago. And I can't believe myself that I have already crush on you 😅 Your videos and you really calms me and helps me get a good sleep at night.
I've experienced depression and feels like I'm having those painful episodes again for the past few days. And now I am just thankful that I accidentaly click your video and started watching it. You really help me get through my lonely night for the past 2 days. Thank you for that!
I admire your perseverance and love your beautiful footage. Thanks Xander!
Spent my youth portaging through Algonquin….and gave me tons of practical experience for when I moved to Vancouver Island. It may be touristy but it’s still a special place to many❤Great video as usual
I love Xander Budnick’s videos. To put it simply. Oh, sorry about those yummy bunny pastas. I felt that one bc it would happen to me 7/8 times out of 10
I've gone for my first ever hikes last and this week, preparing for my first camping trip ever (in Algonquin too!). You've been a huge inspiration in me getting out there and going camping myself. The joy and wonder that your videos communicate, as well as seeing your own enthusiasm has been a huge motivator for me to do something new. Thank you, Xander, and a fond Howdy Neighbor (I'm from Toronto as well!) - If I see you around town, I'll buy you a coffee.
That Xander skit was worth that wait. Feels like when I started watching a couple (few??) years back.
The "Camera Man" skit still comes to mind at times, when I watch these kinds of videos.
Sure have missed your canoe adventures. All your adventuring is fun but I love how much you enjoy the canoeing and it shows! Your humour makes me laugh and/or groan and is something I have grown to expect! Thanks again for a great trip to watch, look forward to the next one
I have those same first lite pants and the suspenders. They're great, but I use a clip to keep the strap from rubbing under my arms. The build in kneepads are my favorite when I'm out and about.
Keep doing what you’re doing brother. I’m sure at this point you know the kinda peace you bring people. For me the most special part is the way you interact with the camera solo it’s as if it’s a release for you and not some awkward burden for interaction
Always great to see a Xander video. Moose sightings were amazing! Rockin' the Crocs lol. Always fun.
Iv been following for a while now, and this is my favorite video. I think because of the whole mood of it. Like xander fishy feet, its like the whole video had that mood lol. Plus great editing and awesome filming.
Woot, Honerable mentions, YUS!! Sweet guy #2 here, Great chattin witchya! Jeremy manhandled your gunnels, while Kevin kept guard against those elusive Algonquin gators. So many deja vu spots in this video. Hope to meet you again sometime.
I really appreciate your videos for the quantity and quality they have, they are made with passion ❤️🔥
I watch your videos all the time, and I tell my husband I am in training. Lol! I want to perfect my knot tying, fire starting, camp fire cooking skills. Thanks for the rad videos!
You and the outdoor boys inspire me to go camping so I went last night and ya that’s enough for another year 😂 don’t know how ye do it so often
