It's barely gonna turn like that, buddy. On the fab one you'll notice the hinge truck only works mostly due to the upturn slope at the ends of the board where mounted. Hinges on a flat surface will only teeter tottor while going straight. Strip and use the prefab board, they make em outta maple for a reason. Your plywood is way too floppy and almost snapped without a motor on it.
Hope I helped. I've been thinking up one a little more suped up for muh first ever welding project too, but can't share all my uuuuuuhhhh.....blueprints, yeah!!! Lookin' forward to part. 2, hope yer cams a.o.k.
I agree, you MIGHT be able to make it work if you epoxy-bond a big hunk of a fiberglass boat hull or some other flat springy thing to beef-up that board? and You can make the truck turn with a homemade "Ducktail" upswept part thats a welded frame that bolts to the end of the board, since you cant steam and press-form the board to be upswept like the other one at home
Nice! I am actually building the exact same thing right now, except mine has a homemade laminated deck making it lower and look better i think. keep it up!
Don't advertise for that hardware store for free partner. If they didn't pay for that plywood then don't give them a free plug. Love the channel, keep up the great work!
Great build RBW! YOU are doing a fantastic job creating really fun, interesting and informative content. I hope TH-cam is recognizing you as a relevant contributor!! Your camera upgrades and editing have vastly improved - keep up the great work! I love seeing you work out problems scratch building, shows a lot of tenacity and dedication! Check out your sd card class - I believe an SD Class 10 card is best for video but I could be wrong on that. I ran into similar problems with a gopro not recording well and found it was an inferior/lower class card. Hope that helps - keep up the great work and thanks for sharing with us!!!
I'm impressed how you always seem to build you're suspension parts so pretty and they work awesome :) good job and keep up the insane builds you have (: . Also sorry to hear about you're camera being weird, Hope it's OK.
25h chain is correct for that sprocket on the clutch. if the bigger sprocket you have fits a pocket rocket then it's correct for the chain. the chain is meant to fit tightly on the sprockets.
50cc 2 stroke engines in snowblowers are rated at 3 horsepower without performance upgrades. You should have enough power if the gearing is correct. Clean the contacts on your SD cards. Good luck.
If you get the gear ratio right, you will have more power than you need. Btw using expansion chambers on 2 strokes should be common practice. Just make a simple expansion chamber and it will be better than a straight pipe.
You can use the 5:1 gear reduction gearbox that is commonly found on scooters with that engine. You might be surprised on how much power those little engines have. Every scooter I have built I have used the 5:1 gearbox, you can find them all over ebay. Look for 49cc transmission.
If i were you, i’d put a predator 79cc on it, its about $90, and it’ll get you up all the hills no problem, and they’re generally less annoying than the Chinese 2 strokes
they are 50€ in europe (60$), shipping inclusive. Claimed power is 2,5hp, much too high, but even in reality it should be more than 1hp, cause on my pocket bike, this engine got me to 58km/h.
Nice work, keep it up! PS - Your SD card may need to be formatted to prevent those errors. Also this is assuming you have a Class 10 or better card as they are better for recording HD video.
You'll also need the gear-redution trans (it's CHEAP) www.ebay.com/itm/11T-TRANSMISSION-GEAR-BOX-2-STROKE-Clutch-49cc-Mini-Moto-POCKET-Bike-Silvering/192247711257?hash=item2cc2db4619:g:oNEAAOSwlRpZaGkw&vxp=mtr
if you dont go with the gear reduction, you'll need the clutch bell and output shaft with the OUTER/2nd bearing support because the weight of the skateboard with you on it will constantly burn up the drive bearings since the chain-load on the sprocket is so great www.ebay.com/itm/6-Teeth-Transmission-Gear-Box-for-2-stroke-Pocket-Bike-6-teeth/192146566793?hash=item2cbcd3ee89:g:W8oAAOSwNSxVUGhD&vxp=mtr
I have a motovox scooter with a 46cc engine and about the same sizes tires but its a scooter... My engine has 20 teeth on it and my tire has 43 teeth on it... I can do about 20 mph on flat and about 10mph up most inclines if not faster... And i have pulled my weight (165lbs) and about 200 pounds using a trailer and it still didnt 18mph on flat and about 15mph up a slight incline... And with me and my brother both on the scooter (about 310ish lbs) it pulled us at 18mph flat and about 8mph up a steep incline... Hope this helps
Spongebob: 'gasp' Gary the papers here! Gary rides on skateboard with engine Spongebob: Here you go Gary, Because all i need is the entertainment section.
That board is going to break plywood is not suited for that amount of weight. Small angle iron bracing underneath would help or glue to pieces of plywood together to make it thicker and stronger. Me I would use square tubing make the frame, a piece of 1/16 flat sheet and around the edge with 3/8 round rod.
hello jes i know my inghlish is not very good because i 'm from germany but that should not he a problem if you are using this motor (two stroke) you need this crazy exhaust pipe begaus whitout this exhaust the motor is not working properly
Hey your camera problem is the flash memory card going bad. Get a new memory card, problem solved. Could also be the card slot in the camera, but ALOT less likely than the card going bad. Solid state flash memory has a limited number of reads and writes before the chip starts degrading.
Motor sucks yes the big bore makes difference also the the real pocket bike and stuff are called www.polini.com/en/ or www.blatausa.com/ check them out real and expensive but you get what you pay for also gear box (gear reduction )for pocket dirt bike or some quads now make heck of difference in torque or check out www.pocketbikesunlimited.com/ big difference in there parts come pared to amazon or ebay
looks like a great start
Mustie1 ay I love your vids!
Don't forget I will be at Pate swap meet at the Texas motor speedway in Dallas fort worth between April 26-28. Come on down!
rather B welding wish I could but my buddy is getting married and I am his groomsmen
rather B welding. Motor skateboard race? th-cam.com/video/3-fHnCLQbT0/w-d-xo.html
Nice editing you have come really far with youtube and would love to see even more!
jeez, you just keep building and building, can't wait till all your projects are completely done
can you give a link of the spring ?
Using a pre made board would have been cheaper than the sheet of plywood

It will work just fine the hinge is at an angle already

this is gonna be a awesome build

The trucks work good?
Once again.you marvel us with your Enginuity.
I'm impressed how you always seem to build you're suspension parts so pretty and they work awesome :) good job and keep up the insane builds you have (: . Also sorry to hear about you're camera being weird, Hope it's OK.
The data errors could be caused by the SD cards. Gotta get faster cards.
What is the angle at which u weld the top plate of the trucks, please I need this info
For youre camera, you need to format your sd card to totally reset it, this happened to my hero 4 a couple of times and formatting it worked fine!
25h chain is correct for that sprocket on the clutch. if the bigger sprocket you have fits a pocket rocket then it's correct for the chain. the chain is meant to fit tightly on the sprockets.
What size tires did you used? I have a gas skayeboard and im trying to find bigger tires like yours

Well done!
Add two simple lengthwise braces on the underside of the plywood to make it rigid.
Getting close to 100k!!!!
great video, I love how you started including some woodworking your projects!!do u have much experience with it?
Nice video, does the steering mechanism work good?
Mxrider2stroke Braaap I believe it’s a carving steering mechanism with the springs
If you get the gear ratio right, you will have more power than you need. Btw using expansion chambers on 2 strokes should be common practice. Just make a simple expansion chamber and it will be better than a straight pipe.
what are the meserments for the trucks
youre gonna want more than 49cc once its complete, just a hunch
Thank you for telling obaut the t8f chain I almost did the same thing.

Just blow SD card slot ,dude that board is massive you should be able to throw your weight around pretty good on that
Reenforce the board, plywood will break easily. Looking forward to see it run.
Looking good, but does it turn? Thumbs up! :)
Add diamond plate sheets on the wood deck. Stiffin it up a littlemore. Top and bottom
Be care full I bought that same engine took it apart once and it never worked the same. Cheap stuff man but I hope it goes well!!
Can u please finish the buggy
the GS500? because the engine is just crap and thats why he is building the new one which he has been working on.
I would put a thin piece of Steel underneath the board for support, you don't want to snap.
specs and dimensions of the trucks?
You need the little transmission cuz I have one of these engines with it on a go kart and it has alot of power
You'll need to order the ALL-Aluminum pull start as the black plastic one that comes with it will fail quickly
You'll also need the gear-redution trans (it's CHEAP)
www.ebay.com/itm/11T-TRANSMISSION-GEAR-BOX-2-STROKE-Clutch-49cc-Mini-Moto-POCKET-Bike-Silvering/192247711257?hash=item2cc2db4619:g:oNEAAOSwlRpZaGkw&vxp=mtr

That motor will have plenty of torque and should have no problem pulling that thing up a hill and you should have plenty of speed too
Good video ☺
Add a 2000w skateborad truck and motor a hybrid would be awesome machine 25 to 30 depending on wheel size
That thing will be STUPID fast with that engine pocket bikes will go 30 miles per hour with those
Nice video I want to build with the engine just need to get it to me somehow how to ship outside of USA

i hope you took in mind that you wont be able to steer the drive wheel, with a chain on it
Raven Thylacine unless the motor is mounted to the same pivot pint as the truck so it wouldn’t t bind the chain
yes, but we are here to pick at things, not give all the solutions lol :)
Spongebob: 'gasp' Gary the papers here!
Gary rides on skateboard with engine
Spongebob: Here you go Gary, Because all i need is the entertainment section.
You'll need to add bracing on the bottom. That plywood flexed a little to much
That board is going to break plywood is not suited for that amount of weight. Small angle iron bracing underneath would help or glue to pieces of plywood together to make it thicker and stronger. Me I would use square tubing make the frame, a piece of 1/16 flat sheet and around the edge with 3/8 round rod.
С удовольствием смотрю твои видео!
I might make one I would probally hurt myself though
sounds like ur sdcard is about to bite the dust... but it could also be something as small as debris in the sd card slot
I bought the same motor and chain i was pissed but luckily i had a parts 49cc motor that i just took the clutch off of
There are chain reduction gear boxes for these engine
SD Card might be going bad, my GoPro started doing that. Get a new card if it replaceable.
Cool
Nice 85
buen vídeo
Thing looks RAD!!!. On a different note, the Micro SD is corrupt. A format of the card or maybe even a new card is in order.
Nice yz 85
Good
hello

Gimme the shout-out if you get a new card and it fixed your camera issue.
Last name is pronounced Jay-go.
The performance one comes with a big bore
I am planning on building a motorized bmx with a 3.5 hp 49cc 2s do you think that that is enought power?
Yeah boi
i think you need 219 chain
I'm at the part where you are complaining about your camera. It sounds like your Memory card is failing. Whatever type you use.
You need a better skate board deck
You better double up that plywood. 5 ply isn't that strong.
That's not gonna turn trucks springs you use are way to hard.
sounds like a corrupt sd card. i recommend samsung evo or pro series cards. faster speed the better.
дека выглядит хлипко, тонкая, сильно прогинается. по толще бы... ))
if the engine is have not power put a snow blower engine you have in the back
What up
Lastima que no ables español 😢
rename the channel rather B making
I had one and bust my ass put me in the hospital

Build a high performance mini bike
Sorry to say but those engines are really shit they never ever run properly for longer than a day
