    This is exactly the video I needed. I bought a 220 watt panel from FB which was only getting 146 watts. After several tests there are 2 diodes not working. I’m going to replace all 6 so that they are all the same age.

      I'm glad I could help out!
      When lightning struck my array and killed so many of my diodes I couldn't really find much online for help with it, so once I researched and figured out what the issue was and how to fix it, I figured I'd share so others could more easily find the information.

    Hi.any problem if replace with different diode..original used 40v, but only have 45v on market.can i chance it?.

      I would say higher voltage rating is fine, lower is not.
