This is not psoriasis this is seborrheic dermatitis. Dermatitis is yellow and easy to remove and usually the scalp is not inflamed underneath. Psoriasis is white, it is hard to remove and the skin underneath would be severely inflamed and damaged!!! You may even bleed after descaling. I have psoriasis and visit a dermatologist often. This is not what it looks like.
Yep! I dated a guy with dermatitis and his scalp looked a lot like this. You can cause infection or worse inflammation by peeling off the flakes, it's best to soak in warm water and gently exfoliate off with your finger pads

Not really... it stings and bleeding can occur. I know because I have psoriasis. It's been 20 years and I still can't find a treatment that works. Fkin sucks. I'd love to wear short sleeves and have my hair down without a bandana. Treatment isn't covered by most insurance companies. There's a shot you can get bi-weekly for $1500 but who the fck has $3000/month to throw at their skin? At this point, as long as I can bend my knees and elbows without being in excruciating pain and keep it from spreading to my eyes it's a win.
@someone_1500 it really does, but it also feels stuffy on the scalp, too. 😫 Im so lucky mine just kind of... cleared up eventually? I have no idea how, but I haven't had any flare-ups in years. (Knock in wood 🪵) Im wishing you the same luck I had
Makes me question whether this case actually is psoriasis and not something else like maybe that she was using a shampoo that she had a bad skin reaction to.
It's wax! I've seen this video before. There are several like this on YT and TT where they put wax on the scalp and call it "satisfying dandruff removal"!
Me too, I was getting so frustrated because I just wanted her to get the comb in there and just pull it out, but she kept faffing around, which is beyond annoying when it’s one of these 20 second shorts.
My daughter has this, not quite this bad but close, when she is stressed it gets BAD! The dr finally gave us a dermatologist referral, but we tried all kinds of treatments and it’s heartbreaking to see my child struggling with the bullying and anxiety that goes with having this happen. It’s not their fault and they didn’t ask for this, have some compassion and don’t judge people thinking they are the cause of the problem and it’s dandruff or build up from not cleaning. 🤦♀️
You should try the carnivore diet for 90 days to see if it helps. Many have testimonials that it cleared it up or lessened it greatly. Apparently works for other skin issues too. Best of luck
Hello! I suffer from this too, but I noticed it worse in the summer (also when I stress lol). My dermatologist told me that it’s because of sweat. Washing the hair every day or every other day helps with breakouts. I also use medicated shampoos. I’ve been suffering from this since I was very young, but I was never bullied from it (It wasn’t too terribly noticeable). I’m thinking this may be different for everyone and you just have to find what works. It took me years and I hope you and your daughter get it all figured out. The best of luck to you both. ❤
I've had psoriasis since I was 7 yrs old. I'm 40 now & went thru so much in school because it was so bad on my scalp and skin. I used to see Dr. Alan Menter in Dallas, Texas. He is the nations leading psoriasis specialist. He even helped create the international psoriasis council. He is the ONLY one that helped me get my psoriasis under control because I had all 5 of the types of psoriasis. Pustular psoriasis when I was just 12 yrs old because I somehow contracted Scarlett Fever and it made my body go BIZURK. I pray for your daughter, it's very difficult to deal with this. Once you start getting guttate, pustular and especially erythrodermic psoriasis it's incredibly hard to get your body under control. The best thing for her would be to ask your derm for a biological medication depending on her age. I wish all these meds would have been around when I was younger because topical medicine does nothing AT ALL. I have psoriatic arthritis now and maybe if those meds were around I would be in as much pain as I am now.
not necessarily. I have psoriasis all over and if its ready to come off, removing the flakes doesn't leave it red and irritated. Everyone is different of course.
psoriasis IS an autoimmune condition. It's called Psoriatic disease and it can also involve a form of arthritis that affects the enthesis - where tendons connect to bones - as well as joints. it's a big deal, there are many comorbid conditions, quality of life and mental health issues are commoon and some people need to take biologic immunosuppressants to manage the inflammation. Tests used to diagnose are C-reactive protein and ESR. Early diagnosis can save a person's life.
I know it bothers me how she's like this is psoriasis here's the over the counter treatment, but you should still go see a Dr because it might be an autoimmune disorder. I feel like people are self diagnosing themselves with psoriasis when it's really just dandruff or something else. The amount of people that just tell me to use head and shoulders or tar shampoo because it cured their "psoriasis" is crazy lol.
Thank You for this information!! My LO has joint issues that they can't figure out as well as scalp issues! Which Drs should I bring her to, non of the ones she has seen have been able to put the pieces together.
Seriously a dermatologist never helped my kid. I took her to the dermatologist from when she was four years old and they repeatedly misdiagnosed psoriasis as ezcema. My daughter was able to resolve the issue on her own as an adult by paying attention to the chemicals in her shampoo and conditioners. She's allergic to a particular chemical.
@LovinglfDesigns which chemical is it?? I'm having hard time finding the right shampoo 🙃 I've tried every scalp related shampoo but no luck!! 🙃 😢 I might have same issue as hers!!
My grandmother had this- and just as severe. She had it for decades and she went to countless dermatologists and nothing helped until she found out about this *insanely* strict diet. She went on it for a year and she completely rid herself of it. She never had another flare up for the rest of her life.. about another 20+ years.
It's hereditary condition how I literally got rid of mine pure rubbing alcohol or apple cider vinegar yes it burned also killer the germs alcohol and vinegar even mixed with shampoos. Even was prescribed prescription certain shampoo and steroids did not work food out was allergic to Tar shampoo.
she cured with diet because it's an autoimmune disease. dairy is inflammatory, and inflammation is linked to every chronic illness. I'm so glad she was able to cure herself and find relief! pharmaceuticals don't cure anything, they merely mask symptoms.
I have psoriasis on my scalp. It’s maddening it’s so itchy. I do wet wraps with stuff I mix up from the dollar tree. I like the coconut oil mixed with the blue ice pain reliever gel in a blender the best. I leave it on for at least an hour inside a dollar tree head wrap. Feels sooo good. I also get a lot of relief after swimming in the ocean.
I had an outbreak and I scratched my head so much until I couldn't take it anymore. I was prescribed a shampoo that I have to leave on for five minutes. It worked. I swear I wanted to snatch my scalp of and beat it like a dirty rug, lol. I get more callous build up on my feet than anywhere. I thank God my outbreaks are not as bad as the first onset.
I have scalp psoriasis, nothing helped me (including $$$ dermatologist prescribed shampoo) until I started using coal tar/ salicylic shampoo. Everyone is very different when it comes to treatment so I hope you find what works for you!
@@sharebjoy oh yeah. And just when something works really well, the psoriasis over powers it! I have to switch up stuff. I bet if I had access to ocean swimming every day, that’d stop working too.
This one looks more like wax that's being pulled out. My sister has this and her scalp turns red when they're being pulled, and if it's not dry enough, she'll bleed.
I was thinking that too. I have psoriasis and you can’t just comb it out, it’s layered skin and will bleed if you pick at it. There’s no redness under the comb where she’s pulling the skin away from scalp?
@@xanitajobe5920 I agree, I have a patch of it on my elbow that's been calm for about two weeks now and it is still a little bit "leathery" looking and while still red manages to look ashy at the same time. This is a fake video just like the chia seed parasite videos. You've got to admit, it's still satisfying watching it peel out like that, I'd bet money it's why her hair looks so nice.
J'ai déjà vu cette vidéo mais il y était expliqué que c'était suite à un lissage brésilien à même la peau ( normalement le produit ne doit pas toucher la peau). Souffrant moi même de psoriasis je pense que cette éventualité me paraît plus plausible.
I feel sorry for the person having to live with this condition being so bad, I have a little psoriasis on my scalp & it irritates the heck out of me. That said I was thinking the same about how satisfying it is to watch as they comb it out - particularly since it doesn't look like it's sore or painful for her.
For any infection you should always wear gloves. There's always a chance of secondary infections. Especially if this is a fungus. Even if its not a contagious condition it's just much more sanitary.
I found that using essential clove oil works rather well for oily dandruff. Clove oil has anti-fungal properties. Just add four drops for each shampoo use. The oil does not affect the lathering. Work it into the hair and massage it into the scalp. Do this a few times a week, and you'll notice fewer flakes.
Use oregano essential oil mixed with tbsp of Olive oil. Scratch the scalp and put it on there as an oil treatment. Leave on or wash off after about an hour. Keep using it a few times a few. It will really help 🤞🏾
Yeah good luck going to a dermatologist and getting help unless you’re rich or have great insurance. My mother has horrible psoriasis all over her body and the insurance won’t cover practically anything that could help the symptoms. She’s been dealing with it for a long time. I have small bouts on my scalp off and on, I just pray it never gets as bad as hers. My mom also has psoriatic arthritis from it too.
Please get an allergy test. It's what you're eating that's causing the skin issues. It will clear once you know what you're allergic to and eliminate that from your diet

Get on the carnivore diet and heal your gut. Make fermented cabbage in salt water and drink every single day. Ferment your own yoghurt with bacteria, for 36 hours. I have been in remission for over a year now.
GET NIZORAL SHAMPOO. I promise this works. Ive have this for so long and it was so painful. It got pretty bad until i started using this. The active ingredient is called Ketoconazole. I stand behind this and it saved my scalp.
Could it be that it's because it was a pre-existing condition that was already diagnosed as being autoimmune? That could be why. Even some great insurances won't cover something like that... it's counterintuitive. Unless the insurance was already in place and then the diagnosis came after. But I think even then when it's something autoimmune it can be tricky
Kids can be so mean. I was bullied severely through my childhood for my weight and my speech impediment. It got to the point of violence and even then, no matter how many times my mother went down to that school nothing was done about it. That's when I realized the education system, as in teachers/principals/counselors, don't even uphold the rules they preach. I truly wish more people in the education profession cared to protect the kids from bullying. I wish I had that growing up. My biggest fear, currently 20 weeks pregnant, is my son having my speech impediment which was my reason for being bullied.
I'm 68 now. I had this when I just started high-school. Back then I had a shampoo that was a Tar shampoo. It worked so well. Fortunately I finally outgrew this scalp condition.
i have a dry scalp and something that has helped me personally (and my hair) is coconut oil! leave it in for 30mins to an hour or longer depending on how bad it is after really saturating the scalp and hair with it. the only issue is it takes two or three scrubs and rinses to get out completely, but if you don’t mind that i’d definitely try it!
I finally gave up and shaved my head. Oils can work great I actually mix my prescription ointment with olive oil so i can more easily rub it over my body and scalp every second day after showers (I'm covered head to toe) It's working so well I'm just about clear but the oils left my hair really greasy and multiple shampoos to wash it out irritated my scalp, couldn't win. Plus my hair was so damaged from the ointment and me scratching and picking that it was pass saving. The plus side is i have some really cool wigs and can change my color/style every day
My Heart goes out to this woman. Hope she finds a cure or right treat. Try a natural remedy like "black seed oil" in capsule form or mixed in with body lotion. It can help treat skin conditions, maybe psoriasis. Aloe Vera extracted from the plant is good for the skin too.
I had it on my scalp when I was a little kid. I used to walk to my granma's, watch "The Fugitive" reruns and eat ice cream while she patiently removed scales from my hair and scalp. I had a brush cut which made it easier to treat but it made me self conscious because everyone could see the spots on my scalp.
I don't know if it'll help the scalp, but when I had full body psoriasis (immunocompromised from chemo), I used Bag Balm to help with the itchiness in tandem with my meds. It kind of smells like Carmex, but it beats feeling like a shedding bearded dragon lol.
I have both psoriasis and psoriatic arthri and have been doing all kids of treatments since I was 11 years old. It sucks, itches, hurts, cracks and flakes. I was doing clinical trial for a few years but now I don't live near trial areas. Some insurance will only cover half or a portion of biologics. I hope now that I am moving back to using insurance that it will be covered

I have psoriasis, and this is not it. Her scalp is not red or irritated under the "plaques". I have seen this video, and this is a scalp wax treatment.
My Mother in law born in 1929. Had severe psoriasis Had tar baths to remove the scaling al over. When I met her in 1968. She had patches in her hair. In the early 70 she found a dr in 1970 that was giving shots once a week. After having these shots 6 months boyishly the scales lightened and her skin softened and became normal. When she did have an outbreak after it was stress related. She kept her skin mostly clear the rest of her life passed at age 89 in 2018. Hope someone finds this type of injection again to help those with severe cases
I have struggled with scalp psoriasis for nearly 20 years. I have NEVER had plaques come off that easily and when I have removed plaques the skin underneath is usually red and inflamed. It can also sometimes bleed and weep. I hate it. Nothing I have ever tried, whether over the counter or prescription, has ever worked to clear it.
I wonder if the hairdresser treated it with something before combing through it. The Dr. mentioned using mineral oil to break it up, so it would make sense to do that (or let her scalp soak) before attempting this. When I was in barber school, I encountered something similar with an older lady and it certainly wasn't this easy to comb through! But it's been so long that I can't remember if we used anything beforehand to soften it.

Fixed my partner’s psoriasis of so many years of struggles in 5 days with chlorine dioxide mixed with water and sprayed on scalp once a day. We did continue for a week after a complete resolution of scalp as we were scared it will come back. He didn’t got it again after that! Such a relief for him
Its true you have to treat it with the right treathment. Apple sider or white vinigar is a good for the headscalp. But doctor, I wonder that if this has to be with the with blood cells issue?
I take baths with apple cider vinegar. I soak my head for about 5mins gently removing the dead skin than wash with a medicated shampoo like head and shoulders or selsun blue. Fortunately my condition hasn’t gotten worst for me to see a dermatologist and get prescribed shampoo. I also buy and process my own aloe Vera and use it on my scalp after I treat it. I usually only have to do this once to twice a month. I have seborrheic dermatitis. My 2nd pregnancy triggered it. This method works for me and i suggest it to everyone to try. It really works.
Mine started off when I was younger and had an issue with oily hair... Then I started using a dry shampoo between washes and now I have a big issue with this mess on my scalp.. dry shampoo triggered mine.. I will never use that mess again!!
I work overnight at home. I like to put coconut oil on my hair while I'm working and then wash it out after work. It washes out easier and doesn't seem to stain clothing. Of course, my psoriasis is nowhere near as bad as hers either...
Apple cider diluted with water with tea tree oil helped me alot. I would also wash my hear with healing earth then double cleanse with a ph neutral shampoo. Last but not least I would massage my scalp with coconut oil.
Idk…I have scalp psoriasis and you can’t just comb it out like that. If you pull it off of your scalp it hurts, it’s open, oozing and then builds up worse. Just get some TSal and if that don’t work ask for pcp for medicated shampoo
Baby oil is mineral oil if you are having problems getting a bottle of just that. In fact I recommend it over straight mineral oil as it usually has other beneficial ingredients like vitamin E. My personal favorite includes coconut oil.
I had really oily hair but not scalp. My mom finally told me to brush my hair down to the scalp. Not so hard to bleed. It flairs up seasonal still but not as bad as my teens and 20s. Im 60 now. As long as i brush my hair front to back and back to front and side to side. Im good.
Yeah, I have to do that as well!! I have to do it to before I wash my hair as well!! I brush my hair well, then I get under the shower head and rinse with running water before shampooing
I have this. I got sick with an upper respiratory infection and was prescribed antibiotics. It went away for 20+ years. I went through a traumatic experience, and it came back worse than before. I begged my dermatologist for some antibiotics because they worked before, but she refused to prescribe any. 10 years later, and I'm still fighting it.
As a black woman I use the blue serius shampoo once a week until my scalp stop peeling and then go back to a hydrating shampoo and conditioner!! Also I use baby oil or mineral oil on my scalp to keep my scalp from drying out!! And try to do condition every other wash!! When my scalp is not peeling I wash my hair every three weeks!! But in the winter and summer then the air is dry I reapply oil every two or three days and where something on my hair when I’m outdoors!! Hope this helps!!😊
😂. No! I have this on my scalp, but not as thick as hers. I'm not shaving my head though! It's a autoimmune disease that you don't catch, you just have it. My grandmother had it a little on one spot of her frontal hairline and my aunt had it covering her entire scalp during her failed health and final hour. Having a great diet plan can slow down the scaling process. It's not easy Having it mildly or any otherwise because your constantly worried that it will show or if they flakes will fall onto your shirt.
It will still have scales and shaving isn’t an awesome idea because any accidental cuts can trigger a flare or worsen a current flare. Sun burns can also cause issues. It doesn’t matter what we do, it’s our immune system basically attacking our skin and causing more and more skin to build up when it’s not necessary. If the scales are removed improperly it can increase the next batch that pops up because there is a need for some of it and it’ll just keep happening. Only now, we have an open wound to deal with. There’s really no way to make psoriasis a pleasant experience and the resulting hair loss is bad enough without shaving it all off. The temptation has been real at times but I’m sure it’ll do more harm than good. It does suck. It’s painful and itchy. Best way I’ve heard it described is that it feels like fire ants biting all over your scalp.
I have to wonder at some of the scalp psoriasis / de-scaling videos on social media. Some look authentic due to the combination of an inflamed scalp plus the texture of the scales. Others look like product that's been left on the roots to dry in order to mimic plaques or scales. When I see healthy looking scalp underneath what's being removed -- no sign of inflammation, no bleeding or oozing, no redness -- I'm skeptical.
Because it isn't stuck to the hair. She said the condition causes excess skin which makes a kind of thick "flake" of skin, and just like hair grows through skin, this is the same. So it can just be gently lifted by the comb and pulled up and out; the hair just pulls through it.
I had this at the base of my scalp in my 20’s and it was SO itchy and sore but I used to love pulling big chunks out with a comb.. highly satisfying BUT really annoying to have it at the same time. Steroid lotion helped so much and I just grew out of it thankfully!
My stepson had this very bad. Idk how many times I coated his scalp with mineral oil and combed through, descaling. His has drastically improved as he got older. I'm so glad! It was heartbreaking watching him suffer with this.
I have psoriasis and no topical creams ever helped. I started taking collagen for other reasons, and surprisingly my psoriasis started to improve and eventually went away. Sometimes I get lazy and don't take it and I'll get a little flair up. It's been such a relief. I hope it helps someone.
Hi, person work psoriasis here. If you can get your doctor to give it to you, Novasone (mometasone furoate) is AMAZING, the liquid not the cream works best for me
I had a milder version of whatever it is this lady has. Taking Zinc supplements has totally cleared it up, & my skin health in general. Absolute game changer. As soon as I stop taking it, the ole itchy, flakey scalp returns. So it DEFINITELY works. Try it! 🌟
Mine is different. I have seborrheic dermatitis and have small flaky patches. Pine tar does wonders for some conditions on the scalp because of its properties.
My daughter started to have this when she was younger, along with getting sick a lot, so we changed our diets, started reading all the labels and got rid of the massive amount of chemicals we were inadvertently exposing her to in popular snack 'foods' & cheap cosmetic/personal care products. Our experience was that it disappeared by learning/knowing what ingredients were in all the things we were putting in and on her body. We're marinating in harsh terrible chemicals in this day & age where many companies are putting profits over safety.
She does have beautiful hair. I hope that she does find a solution for her scalp. My grandson has psoriasis but not on his scalp. We have found a solution for him.
God damn, I wish I would have psoriasis like in this video. They just remove it, easily. Mine is so stuck to my head that I rip out every single hair with it, it bleeds, it wets, it's inflamed, it hurts, it burns and after a few hours, it's all back again. I've been to 8 doctors, all dermatologists and I've been to a dermatological clinic, NON could help. No matter what they were prescribing or thinking it could be, nothinf ever helped even in the slightest. So the only "treatment" I have is an extremely painful process. I gave up hope.
I was bald for three years while going through cancer treatment and I also had radiation on my brain. When my hair finally started to grow back, it was always itchy and I thought I had bad dandruff. I tried EVERYTHING, and finally showed my doctor. I had developed scalp psoriasis. I'll have to try the mineral oil, I don't like the cream the Dr prescribed.
One of my family members has this and he found that getting healthier through diet and exercise nearly got rid of his symptoms! He still takes medication for it but it’s wayyyyy better than before
Poor thing. I know all about it. Heavy layers of hydrocortisone cream, aloe gel, and pure coconut oil all over your scalp...overnight every night for a week or two can clear it up enough to get it under control. Avoid sugary and acidy foods.
Sometimes my medication is no longer effective so I mix coconut oil, Jamaican black castor oil, olive oil and tea tree oil in equal portions, i warm it and apply to my scalp every night before bed. I cover my hair with a hair bonnet to prevent the oil from drenching my pillows and to keep my head warm. It works wonders!!!!! After a few weeks of doing this my scalp is pretty and clean .
Beautifully articulated! Thank you for the knowledge. My mother who is no longer here suffered from it. If I had this information then I could’ve provided her with an extra bit of comfort. Now she rests on heavenly peace! Thank you for what you’re doing in the community it truly makes a difference! Praying for peace and prosperity on your behalf! ❤️🙌🏾🙏🏾
My ex got such a head state from now washing his hair over a few months. He started to hear voices, they told him to not take any baths whatsoever, my attempts to make him behave reasonably, consult a psychiatrist and act normally on his hygiene failed, and so we broke up. This video really brought some eerie memories... 🤢🤢🤢 All the luck to the people, who don't deny their issues and work towards getting healthy!
Had that happen to me (not as severely of course, only in a small patch). Used the medicated cream my doctor prescribed and it went away. Stopped being a problem when I moved to a less humid environment
When I first started dating the guy that later married he had this kind of scaling. I tried to help him clear it up. He tried all kinds of shampoos and other things. He went to the doctor but the treatment he recommended did not work. That was about 70 years ago. Hopefully they have figured out a much better way to treat this condition now that they did not have aback then.
My daughter's derm suggested using Pond's Cold Cream overnight. It was hard to find, but it did help. My daughter refused to do it overnight, so it was only a few hours, but enough of the dead skin came off I could comb it out fairly easily. That allowed me to get the steroid and antifungal to her scalp and treat it a bit better. There is actually a lotion you can buy just for this issue to do what the Pond's did, but with some antifungal with it, but I didn't feel like it worked any better than Pond's. I used Aveeno once on her scalp when I couldn't find the Pond's. That seemed to work just fine too. The biggest issue I had was with the liquid steroid that was prescribed. It was really difficult to get good coverage. It would just drip over the skin buildup and end up on her shirt.
The skin build up couldn't be combed out when dry. I tried several times, but it would just bleed if I managed to remove any of it without softening it first. It was always inflammed and red underneath the skin buildup.
I've had this when I was a younger girl now as an adults it don't get that bad anymore thank God I feel so bad for people that have it this bad I no the pain
I have psoriatic arthritis and when it was uncontrolled, this similar to what I dealt with. Thankfully, with medicine, I have minimal issues. Just around my ears a little.
My husband's head and beard were like that, until I started giving him as much green peppers (fresh) as he could eat and tolerate. Eating green peppers helped heal his skin beautifully. Before that he had tried everything but nothing helped, not even baby oil. Nothing else worked. But fresh green peppers did it.
I know a lot of people going through difficult things do not want to be pitied, by gosh does anyone going through that have mine though. Wish for all to heal and get much better
First, scalp psoriasis IS an autoimmune disease. Second, I've found that for me personally, Nizoral shampoo and conditioner works wonders at keeping flare-ups at bay and helping my scalp heal. There's both a dandruff one and a scalp psoriasis specific one, and you can get it at places like Walmart and Amazon
Apple cider vinegar wash-yes straight from a bottle of cider vinegar. Never use hot water, only luke warm. That is really heavy buildup so I don't know how often she cleans her head/scalp. Using lice or flea combs can take it out too
I had something similar to this and tar shampoo fixed it for me almost immediately. If these other products dont work for you, i suggest asking your doctor if you can use tar shampoo instead.
I use Neutrogens’s T-Gel Shampoo. It comes in regular, extra strength, and anti-itch formulas. It works great! Once it goes away, I only use it again when it flares up. It smells like pine, but you don’t smell it once you dry your hair.
Wish people would understand that flaky scalp doesn't usually imply a lack of personal hygiene.

@someone_1500 it really does, but it also feels stuffy on the scalp, too. 😫 Im so lucky mine just kind of... cleared up eventually? I have no idea how, but I haven't had any flare-ups in years. (Knock in wood 🪵) Im wishing you the same luck I had
It’s one of those “it hurts so good” situations imo
It's honestly so satisfying watching them comb it out.
Despite that scalp psoriasis, her hair looks amazing
Makes me question whether this case actually is psoriasis and not something else like maybe that she was using a shampoo that she had a bad skin reaction to.
You can have nice hair and still have scalp psoriasis @@joemck85
@@joemck85 Your skin doesn't just react by making the whole scalp become a single plaque of dandruff
@@joemck85It looks like a hair mask treatment.
It's wax! I've seen this video before. There are several like this on YT and TT where they put wax on the scalp and call it "satisfying dandruff removal"!
The stylist working on that hair is a gem. And she’s so gentle.
That last pull was what I was waiting for the whole time... didn't even hear what she was talking about.
I am so annoyed at the person with the comb. Looks like she is savoring the flakes.
Me too, I was getting so frustrated because I just wanted her to get the comb in there and just pull it out, but she kept faffing around, which is beyond annoying when it’s one of these 20 second shorts.
😂😂😂😂
soooo satisfying 🤤
😂😂😂😂
I had it as bad as this example.
Three years ago I completely cut any kind of sugar and grains from my diet! And voilà! No flakes at all!!!
Diet heals ❤ gut microbiome is really overlooked
If it's a gut microbiome thing, maybe probiotics and fermented foods like kimchi, sauerkraut, and miso would help?
Thanks for the info. My first husband had psoriasis.on the scalp.

This doesn't look like psoriasis. If it was the scalp would be angry and red once its scartched up and leave a burning sensation and bleeding
not necessarily. I have psoriasis all over and if its ready to come off, removing the flakes doesn't leave it red and irritated. Everyone is different of course.

That’s cuz it’s not it’s called seborrheic dermatitis. It’s a completely different skin condition.
Its cause its fake
Looks fake to me.
psoriasis IS an autoimmune condition.
I got the Psoriasis AND the Psoriatic Arthritis
Ditto @@tootsiedawn2016
.
Can you describe her diet? I have psoriasis and I'm curious. I bet it involves no sugars and no dairy.😅
I saw a video of a young lady ridding herself of this by eliminating dairy.
My husband has this - I’d be interested in knowing the diet too. We have kids and so far they are fine but I hope they never have to deal with it.
The ocean heals me too
I had an outbreak and I scratched my head so much until I couldn't take it anymore. I was prescribed a shampoo that I have to leave on for five minutes. It worked. I swear I wanted to snatch my scalp of and beat it like a dirty rug, lol. I get more callous build up on my feet than anywhere. I thank God my outbreaks are not as bad as the first onset.
Mi hijo tenía eso, lo que hice fue raparlo y así lo tuve un tiempo hasta que dejó de salirme esa cosa fea y grasosa 😠
I have seen this video before. I really think that they applied some kind of wax substance to her scalp so they could make a gross video.
Yeh it’s definitely fake
I thought psoriasis WAS an autoimmune condition.
Yes…it is!
Whoa …i could watch this all day. Thats so satisfying to watch for some reason.
I was thinking the sane thing 😊😊
Yes there's a corner of TH-cam where you can watch as many of those videos as you want. I agree. It's relaxing.
I was about to say that
I feel sorry for the person having to live with this condition being so bad, I have a little psoriasis on my scalp & it irritates the heck out of me. That said I was thinking the same about how satisfying it is to watch as they comb it out - particularly since it doesn't look like it's sore or painful for her.
Noooooo!
For any infection you should always wear gloves. There's always a chance of secondary infections. Especially if this is a fungus. Even if its not a contagious condition it's just much more sanitary.
Psoriasis IS an auto-immune condition

I found that using essential clove oil works rather well for oily dandruff. Clove oil has anti-fungal properties. Just add four drops for each shampoo use. The oil does not affect the lathering. Work it into the hair and massage it into the scalp. Do this a few times a week, and you'll notice fewer flakes.
My heart hurts for anyone having to deal with this.😢❤
Use oregano essential oil mixed with tbsp of Olive oil.

Ngl that was pretty satisfying to watch
i have a dry scalp and something that has helped me personally (and my hair) is coconut oil! leave it in for 30mins to an hour or longer depending on how bad it is after really saturating the scalp and hair with it. the only issue is it takes two or three scrubs and rinses to get out completely, but if you don’t mind that i’d definitely try it!
this actually looks like a traditional Asian wax scalp treatment
Exactly!!!!!
I thought it looked too well organized to be psoriasis... too easy to just comb out. Psoriasis will not lift as easy as this looks.. 🤔
I finally gave up and shaved my head.
Oils can work great I actually mix my prescription ointment with olive oil so i can more easily rub it over my body and scalp every second day after showers (I'm covered head to toe)
It's working so well I'm just about clear but the oils left my hair really greasy and multiple shampoos to wash it out irritated my scalp, couldn't win.
Am I the only one that found this very satisfying to watch?
I don't know if it'll help the scalp, but when I had full body psoriasis (immunocompromised from chemo), I used Bag Balm to help with the itchiness in tandem with my meds. It kind of smells like Carmex, but it beats feeling like a shedding bearded dragon lol.
I feel so so bad for ppl that have this. It must be so frustrating and stressful for them. I hope they have more authentic treatments & cures soon.
Why was that so satisfying to watch?
I see this and I'm really sad for people that have this condition, I just pray they can be cured and be happy sincerely 😢

Had severe psoriasis
Had tar baths to remove the scaling al over.
I get this really bad and no matter how much I wash and pick at it it never goes away. So glad I found this video
Same with my son.
But it's been so long that I can't remember if we used anything beforehand to soften it.
ever tried unpasterized honey , strong sage tea as a rinse, coconut oil or tumeric?
@hosichasi I agree.
also try eliminating dairy, sugar and possibly gluten

Fixed my partner’s psoriasis of so many years of struggles in 5 days with chlorine dioxide mixed with water and sprayed on scalp once a day. We did continue for a week after a complete resolution of scalp as we were scared it will come back. He didn’t got it again after that! Such a relief for him
Its true you have to treat it with the right treathment. Apple sider or white vinigar is a good for the headscalp. But doctor, I wonder that if this has to be with the with blood cells issue?
It’s an auto immune disorder, so yes it’s on the inside. Any external treatments are just for the symptoms. You can’t cure it
I take baths with apple cider vinegar.
Coal Tar shampoo work absolute wonders on scalp scales. Use twice a week, let the shampoo sit on the scalp for 15 mins & rinse. Excellent results
I itch like crazy using that it makes my psoriasis worse. I prefer using a really good anti dandruff shampoo by L’Oréal it’s the only one that works.
I use coconut oil sleep in it then use an apple cider vinegar to rinse it out
Idk…I have scalp psoriasis and you can’t just comb it out like that.
Existia um óleo para bebês muito bom da Johnson & Johnson, mas infelizmente eles mudaram a fórmula. Era perfeito para cabelos com escamas.
Castor oil does the trick
I have this. I got sick with an upper respiratory infection and was prescribed antibiotics. It went away for 20+ years. I went through a traumatic experience, and it came back worse than before. I begged my dermatologist for some antibiotics because they worked before, but she refused to prescribe any. 10 years later, and I'm still fighting it.
Sea breeze, listerene THEN CASTOR OIL OR COCONUT OIL
As a black woman I use the blue serius shampoo once a week until my scalp stop peeling and then go back to a hydrating shampoo and conditioner!! Also I use baby oil or mineral oil on my scalp to keep my scalp from drying out!! And try to do condition every other wash!! When my scalp is not peeling I wash my hair every three weeks!! But in the winter and summer then the air is dry I reapply oil every two or three days and where something on my hair when I’m outdoors!!
Hope this helps!!😊

@@andromedagalaxy8816 easier to clean or scrape, look what they gotta do to get to it, moving layers of hair
I had this Jesus healed me...I was watching a prayer channel 🙏 and the pastor prayed for illness...mentioned scalp issues and I was healed ty Jesus
How are u removing the scales without her hair coming out as well?

The removal of the scaling in the video is so satisfying
This is so satisfying to watch. Not gross at all. They can’t help it and it’s just excess skin.
My daddy had all over psoriasis awa vitiligo. Watching the scales being removed is SOOOO SATISFYING and SOOOOO MISUNDERSTOOD 😢

My ex got such a head state from now washing his hair over a few months. He started to hear voices, they told him to not take any baths whatsoever, my attempts to make him behave reasonably, consult a psychiatrist and act normally on his hygiene failed, and so we broke up. This video really brought some eerie memories... 🤢🤢🤢
All the luck to the people, who don't deny their issues and work towards getting healthy!
Dr, does that same malicious skin disease 🦠 affect the bearded clam?
My brother use to have this issue in the 90s, doctors did nothing and my parents constantly had to explain its not lice.
Both of my daughters have this, thank you for the mineral oil tip!
Everyone needs to see this.
I know a lot of people going through difficult things do not want to be pitied, by gosh does anyone going through that have mine though. Wish for all to heal and get much better
That they are actively receiving treatment is encouraging!
Using lice or flea combs can take it out too
I had seborrheic dermatitis on the scalp back then and my doctor told me to use coal tar shampoo. It worked wonders! It was gone after 2 weeks
I wish I could remove this off someone. I am weird I love removing things on the skin. Looks satisfying
I had something similar to this and tar shampoo fixed it for me almost immediately. If these other products dont work for you, i suggest asking your doctor if you can use tar shampoo instead.
Try to remove peanut and other food that has toxins mold . It's microscopic we can't see . Black seed oil mix with castor helps too.
I use Neutrogens’s T-Gel Shampoo. It comes in regular, extra strength, and anti-itch formulas. It works great! Once it goes away, I only use it again when it flares up. It smells like pine, but you don’t smell it once you dry your hair.
My youngest two, both gingers, had this as kids. Olive oil was a life saver. One treatment a week with a comb, and we kept it under control.
That is so sad. I’m sorry for anyone having to deal with this issue. 😢
