    Im 21, I've been struggle with pores, and i started to use all the BHA ( salicylic acid) toner with retinol a313 at night, niacinimide serum with suncream at morning every day for more than a year.
    Now my pores do much smaller, my skin became less oil and not just that the skin texture is much smoother, brighter, some of my wrinkles starting to disappear. I cant be happier with this routine now. 🥰🥰🥰

      The only products you need is whole foods instead of the trash you are probably devouring, drinking only water and doing a healthy dose of cardio every other day to stimulate blood flow to the most extreme of capillary that feed your skin cells. The snake oils she is paid by these corporations to sell only mask the issue that will re-appear the moment you stop using those products. Whilst using them, the underlying problem of lifestyle will persist.

      Alpha hydroxy acids are another great ingredient that she didn’t mention. They don’t have any effect on your oil, but they do have some effects on collagen and skin renewal. Additionally, alpha hydroxy acids cause the dermis to thicken up, this thickening can be extremely effective in smoothing out the texture of prominent pores. (They also help fade pigment which can be useful for other reasons besides texture)

    • @niccoloreiss842
      @niccoloreiss842 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +7

      @@MK_Meow.Meow.I agree completely, but we can slightly tweak the way our skin looks without being too intense so if those small changes help you accept your skin then I think that’s the best case scenario. Not only do those steps also help care for and promote skin health long term, but they help reverse signs of damage that we inflicted on ourselves because we didn’t know any better before. All of that said I’m not a “rewind my age” person. I’m 32 and I’ve had Botox once in my life to fade some serious anxiety lines that med school gave me, but I want to encourage my skin to age gracefully and at its fullest potential. That is also, I’m sure, op’s goal with trying to improve their pore texture.

      @@WelcomeToTheOpera__ okay what was the update

    • @WelcomeToTheOpera__
      @WelcomeToTheOpera__ 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +7

      @@mahi1614 full update:
      1. I did the routine every day among with some other things such as that I added also a rice milk toner and a red light pulse gua sha thingy to use right after the skincare. I have seen prominent results in the wrinkled forehead area, the nose area when it comes to the clogged pores and the neck as well.
      2. I avoided dairy, although I must admit, I had a relapse the day before yesterday till today, but as I still use the routine to this day, it has for real helped me limit the acne apparition caused by this (dairy overconsumption).
      3. I also used a collagen drink and paired it with vitamin c for maximum absorption. It makes a difference, too.
      4. I added 7 minute breathing exercises to limit my everyday anxiety and catastrophising, cause if you're stressed constantly from chronic stress and unhealed trauma, all the best skincare in the world can only get you to a certain point but not past that. You have to regulate cortisol. I'm thinking of starting therapy as well. So it's 50-25-25 your skincare or lack there of and your lifestyle and inner wounds. So you can of course change your appearance by changing your mind and breath work has affected my skin betterment as well.
      5. I was consistent even though at first it was a hustle. Every beginning seems difficult even the smallest act if you have executive dysfunction especially so it's necessary to be resilient and consistent with an everyday use of both the daytime routine and the nighttime routine.
      The skin products that I saw were the most effective were the inkey list serum, the cerave retinol, my sunscreen (I didn't use her recommended loreal product, so use whatever suits you) and the salicylic acid cleanser. Just don't overdue it because it's basically chemical exfoliation so do the salicylic acid occasionally, not everyday and use a mild oil control cleanser or micellar water for an everyday use.
      The things I can admit made the overall biggest difference are:
      A. Following the night skincare routine religiously. Each time, I woke up flawless in the morning. There was a huge difference. I also waited a few hours after waking up and did the daytime routine at 11 and after, in the morning, and till then I only used sunscreen and maybe a bit of the rice toner and watered my face in the early morning if I had to go outside before that time and didn't touch my skin in general. I did this so that I don't strip the natural oils, hence moisture, of my skin and so that the night routine effects last longer and I don't clog the pores with excessive product use. I created a skincare time window/rotation basically. So to simplify this step: wake up, water the face, always use sunscreen even inside the house as uv rays can penetrate the glass doors and windows of our homes, then only do the red light thingy if you have it and for 5 minutes max, then the skincare if you have the time and ALWAYS do the main care at night.
      B. Second most effective thing for me personally when it comes to lifting and wrinkle reduction especially was the retinol pf course but also admittedly the pulse red light gua sha machine, cause it literally firms your face muscles as it exercises them, so skin and muscle mass stay in tact and become better with consistent use.
      And lastly, the collagen and the cutting my hyperbolic dairy consumption. I eat cheese and good quality yoghurt every other day so I still enjoy it just not in the excessive amount I did in the the past.
      To conclude, these habitual things have indeed changed my face and these products have been also very effective for that change. Even if the strawberry skin and the acne is existent for the past few days, despite that, it's very minimised. And the wrinkles are reduced.
      So I back this video, these were indeed good recommendations.

      Hi, I am not a dermatologist but love to search info about skincare. So I use salicylic acid face wash twice a day (if you have sensitive skin you can use it in p.m. routine and in the a.m. another hydrating face wash) , niacinamide serum morning and night (it can be used with retinol) and Retinol serum only in the evening (don’t use it in the morning). If you haven’t used Retinol before you should start with using it once a week, then twice a week and so on till you can tolerate it for using every night. Important to use sunscreen every morning in the end of your skincare routine. Of course you can add a moisturizer to both a.m. and p.m. routines. But sunscreen is always the last step in the morning routine. I hope it will help. Wish you a beautiful skin 😇

    Hi, thanks for sharing. I have the skin concern as described in the video and I have been using most of these skincare products, but haven’t yet improved. What’s the next step you advise, please?

    Le creo todo, su piel es preciosa 🤩 Gracias, voy a procurar los productos que recomienda, siempre he tenido los poros abiertos y la piel grasa. Creo que use algunos productos por separado, pero siempre me faltó completar el tratamiento de limpieza y nutrición para la piel ❤😊

    Great advice. Also. It is Propaganda when products claim to "Shrink pores" you cannot Change the size. But salicylic acid, collagen, nicinamide. All the things she recommended do a great job. Also essential oils..and witch hazel as a toner. ❤

    The Cetaphil Brightness Reveal cleanser was a nice one for me as well ❤ I saw a difference in a few days already and even after going back to the normal Cetaphil cleanser a few months ago (and sometimes using the Ceravé gel cleanser). I still notice that the clogged pores on my cheeks aren't as bad.
