We need to pray for Carrie Frost and all women and children in the church. We can't just shake our heads in shame. We are all under such an awful amount of attacks and influence by the enemy in these days. Let's not forget our duty to pray for them.

YES! The human condition is deplorable right now and I unite with you in the assertion that we should not point fingers or just shake heads, but should pray and investigate the conditions of our fellow man that we might not let them go astray!!!

You can look at any Protestant church to see how this progression works out. The Roman Catholic Church has likewise started down this path of ‘inclusion’ and the slow, careful eradication of Tradition, and it is REALLY not a pretty sight.

These women are after power. If someone should never have power, it's people who are after it.

Carrie is not after power. She just wants girls to be able to attend the Eucharist when they have their periods and for women to not be blamed when they have a miscarriage. Not extreme. Not radical. Calm down and actually read the book yourself.

That something I have found with the leaders of these movements. If one reads their works/listens to what they have to say long enough then they will tell you exactly what evil they intend to get up to.

If we, as Orthodox Christians, believe that the Church, moved by the Holy Spirit, is infallible (and I'm not equating the Church with individual Orthodox members of the clergy or the laity,) isn't then her book blatantly blaspheming against the Holy Spirit? I mean, are we so full of audacity and "επαρσις" (conceit) to stand against the Lord's Church and all the saints? Lord have mercy!

I pray that the bishops may rise and speak out against this and make clear that there will never be such changes to the Holy Orthodox Faith. Now, more than ever, the faithful need clear reassurances and encouragement in the face of an ever changing society that is going down the godless path of demonosis.

    • @Orthodoxy33-wo7rt

@@ljss6805 You misunderstand me (or, I hope you are misunderstanding me). Besides not being either a universal practice or a received tradition, advocates for this today are not looking for the restoration of a minor tradition, but are wanting something entirely new. They are looking for fully ordained liturgical deaconesses equal to male deacons as a means to move closer to a female priesthood. Both notions are rooted in the rebellious feminist spirit of the modern age (which is part of the "ever changing society that is going down the godless path of demonosis"). Thus, it is not only in complete opposition to Holy Orthodoxy, but given that the ordained clergy are uniquely icons of Christ who is male, introducing the feminine is blasphemy. Yes, what the patriarch of Alexandria did in Africa recently is blasphemy. People wonder why there needs to be a Patriarchal Exarchate in Africa, but the faithful need somewhere to go when things like this happen until such time as repentance and reconciliation take place.

To use the word "Orthodox" when speaking about Carrie Frost is simply wrong. Elder Raphael of Mt. Athos (the beloved, clairvoyant, and venerable Russian holy man of our time) met face to face with the current "Patriarch" of Constantinople. Elder Raphael rightly says, about that very man: he is not Orthodox.

Fr. Seraphim Rose stated that Ecclesiastical Correctness will not save or protect you in the end times which we are now living in. Each member of the faithful will be responsible for his or her right belief, and Love of God. You can’t rely on the correctness of your hierarchs to save you.

He's 91 years old. He is about 4'7" tall, and has almost no facial hair. He is the very reality of Pascha, embodied in a man. I am close with him and his monks, as my elder is Elder Raphael's spiritual brother. He's had a kill-order out on his head, at the direct order of Vladimir Putin, for many years. And funny enough, he and Putin talk somewhat regularly on the phone, even so! When one high ranking GRU agent actually found Elder Raphael (in order to kill him) years ago, the officer told the elder about the kill-order, but failed to carry out the order (which still stands), for reasons of personal piety. He has prophesied to me about events in my personal life, which have always come true, exactly at his words. He generally speaks through a translator, but also telepathically, at times. He is a hieromonk, and when he hears the confessions of his monks, they kneel before him, and he tells them their sins, as a matter of course. I wouldn't mind telling you more, or even sending you a picture of him, but that's better done in a way that does not involve TH-cam comments. He is also a fine artist, although not an iconographer, specializing in oil paintings that convey truth, through beauty.@@LadyMaria

Carrie Frost loves the Orthodox Church. She is calling for a return to the true teachings of Jesus Christ and the practices of the early church. It seems like you guys didn't actually read it. The word 'extreme' is often used to personally attack someone who has made you look at your own flaws when you don't have the courage to do so. You keep using the word 'feminism' when it doesn't apply to her works. Y'all are so threatened by the truth. It's not about feminism.

The Phoebe Center for Deaconesses, led by Carrie Frost, recently posted on their website in support of ordaining deaconesses in Africa who do not align with traditional Church history (deaconesses were over 40, virgins, and primarily tended to the needs of women, such as during nude baptism). This demonstrates Carrie Frost’s direct endorsement of feminist heresy.
