The rumors for the Nintendo Switch 2, at least for me, are addressing issues with the Nintendo Switch: 1) Controllers. It seems that Nintendo are making a different kind of controller for the Switch 2. Will these Switch 2 controllers be better? We'll have to see. 2) More gaming power. It seems that Switch 2 has a significant gaming power increase that has attracted many third party developers. 3) Backwards compatibility with the Switch. It seems this is going to happen. 4) I'm very interested in the USB-C ports for accessories. If the Switch 2 camera turns out to be an accessory, this means that we're not stuck with a camera that an become quickly outdated. 5) Hopefully there's a much better WiFi adapter in the Switch 2 that avoids the issues with the Kingdom Hearts release, and provides great multi-player gaming. 6) It seems that Nintendo will be standardizing Switch 2 game development to use an Unreal Engine. If this is the case, then game developers will have dev kits with that Unreal Engine instead of making their own homebrew engine all the time. 7) Hopefully the Nintendo-Microsoft partnership brings the XBox GamePass to the Switch 2. It opens another avenue for games on the Switch 2.
The biggest miss if the leaks are true is a double screen. I dream of a console that actually lets you play several generations of the company’s game. Playing DS, 3DS, and Wii U games plus everything else that’s already on Nintendo Online is a dream of mine since those consoles were where my childhood was.

This is Nintendo we're talking about and I've been experiencing their stuff so long I know their going to want to scratch that itch for some additional creativity. That said I don't think it'll be like the main selling point of the Switch 2, I think the main selling point will be how much stronger it is compared to the first. And people saying it'll be lacking in creativity are just being over dramatic, because the developers at Nintendo are still going to be creative and inventive with their games ontop of having all that extra power. If Nintendo has proven one thing during the switch era is that their priorites are right where they need to be and it makes them so much smarter than Sony and Microsoft right now.
A hybrid console itself was a noble and innovative thing when it came out. There wasn't anything like Switch and even now everyone else is trying to replicate it. The next thing could be an actual working virtual boy... But that's for the future...

Great vid brother. You stated everything perfectly. Switch 2 naming was always the best option. I think they are on track for another successful console.
My general take for the Switch 2 is that right now it needs to focus on just being a dramatically better Switch 1. The future Switch 3 (or whatever device they create) will be set up for Nintendo to grab a whacky/innovative idea (if they need to). The reason the Switch 2 needs to catch up in terms of graphical output, is because the jump they're making is quite possibly last giant leap they'll need to do. We've been getting diminishing returns with more graphics and longer development times between Sony and Microsoft. So Nintendo jumping up one more time will get them on par with all the other hand helds, and reach PS4/PS4 Pro levels of power that will look similar to PS5/Xbox Series X games (mainly because they keep creating cross gen games). TL;DR The console after the Switch 2 will be in a situation where they can focus less on power (due to diminishing returns) and re-focus on innovation if they so choose.

Yeah... But they've historical done the worse sales wise when they didn't tried to innovate enough, like with the GBA, N64, GameCube the Wii U and to some extent early 3DS.
Top USB-C port has me thinking more about the Google survey with name “Switch Attach” - Joy-Cons attach on the sides and you may be able to attach accessories to the top usb-c port. I think camera accessory is a good idea for parents concerned about privacy for kids (even though there were cameras on 3DS and others). Might see small SSD drives attack to top usb port and stick into back of handheld. Would be a waste if it is just for power.
The Switch 1 is, in concept, the best idea Nintendo has ever had and likely ever will. To do anything other than simply push that same idea further, to try some other "innovative idea" that will ultimately be just some dumb gimmick, would be a disaster. All I want from Switch 2 is a more powerful switch, maybe with an improved UI and a better Eshop. Also bring back Virtual Console, because I dislike relying on a monthly subscription to play the retro games I want to play.

Nintendo Switch 2 is definitely going to be a great success. It might even top NS, but even if it doesn’t, it’s going to be another 100,000,000+ seller.

There’s only one thing that I could see being a major roadblock for Switch 2. There is contraction across the third parties, but third parties were a pivotal thing for Switch. Third parties are part of the reason why Nintendo’s been able to release at least one first party game a month and still generate a massive library that offered something for everyone. The longer they wait to reveal, the harder it becomes for teams working on Switch 2 content to defend themselves from cuts. The potential list of offerings will drop for a bit. So they need to do something soon, before their potential year 1 and year 2 offerings start shrinking. It is also part of the reason why I’d be shocked if we don’t have a first look trailer or event by Wednesday.
third parties are already working on switch 2, the heads in charge obviously have talked with Nintendo about it, its not like their bosses are suddenly going to cut their budgets bc of that

Do you know the good thing that come with announcing Switch 2 late? The games that has been released ( P3R, Elden Ring, FF7R etc) including their DLC will mostly be bundled together in Nintendo version with extra ingame stuff :) . Same price, extra content, smaller size and hopefully better quality and performance :)
Agree and disgaree on some parts. I do understand that a sustainable idea is better for the future, but, that doesn't mean that charm has no value. Many of the memories i have with games com from their respective systems, and the value that the systems is what gave a special value to the games. Switch lacks that, and for just a 4k upgrade i would rather just go and revisit the 3ds. I'm confident that they will do something new, but, i need them to add personality to the thing. It's not the same, it gets cold and meaningful, meanwhile previous consoles gave you that sense of coziness by just having the controller or system on hand.
I don't know about that. I'm getting the feeling that aside a few interesting games (the next 3d Mario, Kirby, Smash Bros and Mario Kart), the console won't receive the big games for a REALLY long time, since the most recent entries of those big games came out on the Switch in the last two years.... plus people are abandoning Nintendo to get a PS5 to play Astro Bot, because it takes one single game of the competition to make fans doing a 180° on what they lovd apparently...
Look at how much we know about this company, and we all know switch 2 is gonna be a hit…. How many of us are putting their money where their mouth is and is actually investing in this company? I bit the bullet and bought stock, and I’m holding for the next 2 years
Nah I don’t think they can sell it for any less right now or if they can it just changed recently I’d say it cost 230-250$ to make a switch But in the future they might be able to sell the base model for 250$ or the oled for 350$
He may not be here any more but make no mistake the Switch has the gimmicks of old and the personality, because the Switch is Iwata's baby and it's a shame he didn't get to see it through. The current CEO is just carrying on Iwata's work as you said we still got new interesting things. I will wait to see the reveal to see if there isn't any new quirk, personally I feel you are not a true fan if you're not excited for whatever new thing they may do. The industry would be so boring if Nintendo lost that.
The reason games are flopping because they making live service games instead of what gamers want like Nintendo. Story driven games with good gameplay and look good. And we have fun playing it. Look at black myth and how that sold great why because it a game we want. 😅😂
Those are dumb people. Why fix what not broken? For one real Nintendo fans want more power better joy cons. People have to understand this is a portable and home console so you really can’t change to much but make it better. 😅😂
Nintendo’s best consoles (not handhelds) are the Switch & Wii And the reason why those two consoles generated so many sells is because Nintendo introduced NEW ways to play games The Nintendo Wii introduced motion controllers The Nintendo Switch introduced the hybrid form-factor If the Switch 2 is just another revamped version of the current Switch, the Switch 2 sells won’t be high (I’d say probably between 30 to 40 million units sold worldwide) In order for Nintendo to reach over 100 million sells, they need to innovate Looking towards the future if tech devices, smart glasses and AR glasses will eventually replace smartphones (because AR/VR glasses will enable users to utilize massive big screens that literally float right in front of face) Would you rather play a handheld system with an 8inch screen? Or would you rather play on a massive 200inch digitized screen that you can wear on your face and take anywhere? Bottomline… new innovation is imperative
Well it's kinda complicated because yeah the Wii brought many people to Nintendo... But how many of them actually stayed? Almost no one and was almost quickly abandoned as soon as the newest Zelda game was considerably mid by people's standards.
I had my Switch OLED for about 6 months and gave it to lil bro, unless its Mario or something like that, the damn thing has a headache tryna compute anything. Handheld wifi leaves you a sitting duck in any game
From everything we know, Nintendo could very well have something more powerful than the Steam Deck or ROG Ally, thanks in large part to its DLSS. It's possible it's somewhere in the Xbox Series S realm - when DLSS is enabled. I've gotta think that's where Nintendo was aiming when designing it, knowing that 3rd parties use the Series S as the base for their titles. A Switch with better 3rd party support would be the best upgrade people could ask for, and that's what I think is in store.
They better not release a switch with a better resolution and a better battery life they need to take this to another level since a lot of companies are building pc on handhelds now 😂.
I can only play God of War and Gears of War so many times before my eyes start rolling into the back of my head. Mario, Zelda, Metroid, etc.. have something the others simply do not have and that is fun. Yes, Spiderman 2 was good and yes, I have no doubt that the upcoming Fable will be good. However, at the end of the day, they're kind of forgettable. How long is Kratos going to be pissed off? Take a vacation, dude. How often is the covenant going to come after Master Chief? I'm not saying that Nintendo doesn't reuse their i.p.'s, they obviously do BUT they're fun. They're interesting. In a way, they're comforting. Kind of like seeing am old friend every so many years.
@@jmcclain8237 I realized the same thing and I believe because they’re platformers it just works right especially when u want to get a quick fix and they look beautiful on the Oled
Look if Nintendo uses 3DS visual effects (with ray tracing)+oLED that is bendable+VR & a controller that is transformative for the type of game..then Nintendo has a chance to win.
Gamers in the past- I wish Nintendo would stop with the gimmicks and focus on more powerful consoles. Gamers today- The Switch 2 isn't going to have a new gimmick? I am anger!
They already hit the gold mine with the current specs! Just upgrade what works testing out optional extensions that won't take away what we know works! 😂🎉
Bro, whats your obsession with the e shop. Who cares? When you enter there you already know what you wantnto buy, and it works, what more do you want? e shop is the last thing anyone cares about switch 2
If Switch is still selling a lot & no price drop along with 8+ years support with no nextgen system along side of it yet from them, then it's the no.1 system so far that hasn't been done yet. The only thing it needs to do is just past PS2 & when that time comes very soon, you will see the media like IGN & Jeff Keighly start to talk negatively so much about the Switch to try & stop it from passing PS2. Already, Jim Ryan started the attack 1st, but if you really wanted to see who started 1st, look no further than the youtubers that came out in Switches 5th year support saying that Switch 2 is coming that year 😂.
If that's is the switch 2 it is way to big. that would be a soild pass for me. I hope it has at least ps5 graphics. I'll probably wait for a switch 2 lite.
Lmao, no Switch 2 won't be as successful as the OG Switch. The OG Switch was innovative and a breath of fresh air which generated media buzz unlike any other console before it. It can't be understated how important that was for the momentum of console sales among casual gamers. An irritative and boring console won't generate the same buzz and will drag down sales. TH-camrs have a certain bias because they think everyone is as involved in the online gaming discourse as they are, but the reality is that the majority of gamers don't follow gaming social media and are less motivated as consumers. The amount of buzz a console generates is key to reaching casual gamers. Furthermore, there's the issue that sitting on your laurels is a common way to lose market share; especially if there is increased competition from other companies and they bring something new and improved to game. I do think Switch 2 will be wildly successful, but it will probably lose somewhere around 15-25% percent of the market share obtained by the OG Switch.
@@MorrisseyMuse with how long they take to develop this things, this means it's very new, they may have made some last minute alterations, but a prototype from 6 months ago, is basically final version.
The spec is really bad no third party support and games will still struggle. The system will limit the games. Nintendo is making it easy for steam to become a console and put them in the 4th spot.
With the specs that have been rumored, which are fine because even that level of power in Nintendo's dev's hands is going to go a long way, and if this thing actually releases at a $399 price point with either a new 3D Mario or Mariokart as that day one killer app game... to follow with a great slate of third party games and more first party stuff like potentially Metroid Prime 4: Beyond and Monolith's Soft's next big JRPG, maybe a new IP from Nintendo, maybe a new 2D Kirby, maybe Windwaker 4K, etc.. whatever... but overall just that kind output of games similar to Switch 1 within say the first 8 months after launch... the system will hit the 10 mil mark in a flash and just keep on going after that... I have no doubt...
Sorry but I think the switch as a Nintendo console absolutely nailed it! And I’m extremely happy they have elected to make a new refreshed version for the next gen. The fact it’s sold SOOOO well proves just how good the concept is! Because it’s so utterly simple and works so very well.

Same price, extra content, smaller size and hopefully better quality and performance :)
I'd have to wait until Nintendo release the oled version of switch 2 if ever
Agree and disgaree on some parts.
I do understand that a sustainable idea is better for the future, but, that doesn't mean that charm has no value. Many of the memories i have with games com from their respective systems, and the value that the systems is what gave a special value to the games. Switch lacks that, and for just a 4k upgrade i would rather just go and revisit the 3ds. I'm confident that they will do something new, but, i need them to add personality to the thing. It's not the same, it gets cold and meaningful, meanwhile previous consoles gave you that sense of coziness by just having the controller or system on hand.
“I’m not saying Nintendo’s perfect.” You tried very hard to🤣🤣
I don't know about that.
Definitely not abandoning Nintendo over one game 😂 People are just realizing they don’t have to choose! I think having a Switch and a PS makes sense.
Perfect opportunity for Nintendo to finally embrace the spec war
@@joshbarnes5783 loool , spec war when it will still be under the outdated steam deck 🤣
Nintendo will always be behind in that war but kids love Nintendo and they make plenty of money from people that don't care about fps
Look at how much we know about this company, and we all know switch 2 is gonna be a hit…. How many of us are putting their money where their mouth is and is actually investing in this company? I bit the bullet and bought stock, and I’m holding for the next 2 years
I can't wait for what switch has to come
Nah I don’t think they can sell it for any less right now or if they can it just changed recently I’d say it cost 230-250$ to make a switch
But in the future they might be able to sell the base model for 250$ or the oled for 350$
March announcement and a 2025 November release is my prediction.
I would say that for me to be sold for the switch 2 would be better loading and 60 fps and I will be sold.
awesome video bro. glad to see you still doing your thing!
This ain’t your uncle who works for Nintendo’s Nintendo any more folks
@@MrJgris it's fake
@@Lanndone Nintendo is fake?!?! Then who have I been giving my money too?!?!
@@MrJgris the switch 2 that everyone is talking about it's fake I never said Nintendo was fake I don't know what you're talking about there
You are just giving all of us psychic damage here reminding us about Iwata😢
Those are dumb people. Why fix what not broken? For one real Nintendo fans want more power better joy cons. People have to understand this is a portable and home console so you really can’t change to much but make it better. 😅😂
Nintendo’s best consoles (not handhelds) are the Switch & Wii
And the reason why those two consoles generated so many sells is because Nintendo introduced NEW ways to play games
The Nintendo Wii introduced motion controllers
The Nintendo Switch introduced the hybrid form-factor
If the Switch 2 is just another revamped version of the current Switch, the Switch 2 sells won’t be high (I’d say probably between 30 to 40 million units sold worldwide)
In order for Nintendo to reach over 100 million sells, they need to innovate
Looking towards the future if tech devices, smart glasses and AR glasses will eventually replace smartphones (because AR/VR glasses will enable users to utilize massive big screens that literally float right in front of face)
Would you rather play a handheld system with an 8inch screen?
Or would you rather play on a massive 200inch digitized screen that you can wear on your face and take anywhere?
Bottomline… new innovation is imperative
Well it's kinda complicated because yeah the Wii brought many people to Nintendo... But how many of them actually stayed? Almost no one and was almost quickly abandoned as soon as the newest Zelda game was considerably mid by people's standards.
Little too fan boy much like Willy Wonka expressing what his factory means to him in the gene wilder version lol
Ps5 Pro or switch 2??
Good video bro let's go Nintendo prime 😊
I did play that latest mario game. It's called Astro Bot.😅
I want themes and menu music and revamped miis😩😩😩
Nintendo are the only grownups in the room. So smart not to jump on the 4k 60fps ray tracing bandwagon.
The physical comparisons to the Steam Deck and PS Portal by the Chinese Woman were really good looking!
A Switch with better 3rd party support would be the best upgrade people could ask for, and that's what I think is in store.
the chip that apparently will use is already series lvl without dlss
@@Elchinodawn Yeah, they're saying between PS4 Pro and Series S before DLSS, which to me means it'll be somewhere above Series S after DLSS.
Yeah Nintendo have got an open goal in front of them. Let’s see if they can score.
Losing all of Wii U and 3DS is not good for Nintendo! It's bad for Nintendo!
I am anger!
You just know that Twilight Princess and The Wind Waker are going to be launch titles for the second iteration. :')
This video was like going to the church and listening to the priest lecturing about god😅😅😅
The zelda game is officially leaked now 😢 today its in google rom
Oh because Playstation and Xbox have been reinventing the wheel on every system lol
They already hit the gold mine with the current specs! Just upgrade what works testing out optional extensions that won't take away what we know works! 😂🎉
The switch is the best console to me next to the GameCube and super nintendo
Its gonna be even bigger than switch
Bro, whats your obsession with the e shop. Who cares? When you enter there you already know what you wantnto buy, and it works, what more do you want? e shop is the last thing anyone cares about switch 2
Ps vita would be same good as switch if Sony is not so stupid and lame .Im just worried I would be not able to handle the price of new switch
Is it me, or does Nintendo Prime sound more and more like a Sunday sermon? 😂 preach brother!
My guy out here sounding like a pastor. So ... Amen?
Was gonna say it sounds like he drank the Nintendo kool aid lol
Mr Pumpkin is Back Baby
Just want it to play sports games Red Dead2 and Elden ring along with Nintendo games
I want to know if Switch 2 Pro Controllers will suffer from Drift like the Switch does?
We hope it won't. With bigger size and previous feedback we can assume they have used better analogue sticks
@@TheDetectiveEngineer I'm on my 3rd Pro Controller and it just started Drifting a couple of weeks back.
Talking head Prime 🗣️ I like this style of content
If that's is the switch 2 it is way to big. that would be a soild pass for me. I hope it has at least ps5 graphics. I'll probably wait for a switch 2 lite.
I really just want a bigger more powerful switch i dont want a weird gimmick
no information just a fawning video for Nintendo need this? Nintendo doesn't care about fans
it dosent need a prediction, nintendo switch 2 will be a success. they are not trying to be sony or microsoft
naw i'm happy with my switch and i will not be upgrading and also there are many kids who's parents won't let them upgrade
Dude, you could not have been more right.
Agreed Nate
There is no game on that is better on a troonulator crashing every 10 minutes. Do not believe pirate lies.
I mean... The prototype has been leaked. Thats gotta count for something. 😅
If it's real
I heard that was a prototype from over 6 months ago though..?
@@MorrisseyMuse with how long they take to develop this things, this means it's very new, they may have made some last minute alterations, but a prototype from 6 months ago, is basically final version.
The spec is really bad no third party support and games will still struggle.
The system will limit the games.
Nintendo is making it easy for steam to become a console and put them in the 4th spot.
I'm not getting the next switch until they show xenoblade chronicle x. 😂
People need to stop believing everything they see on the Internet
@@artisanjames182 avalanche studios from square Enix is probably the best studio at graphical optimisation. Like look at just cause 2
kind of a unrelated question but I was wondering what type of camera do you use ?
Sorry but I think the switch as a Nintendo console absolutely nailed it! And I’m extremely happy they have elected to make a new refreshed version for the next gen. The fact it’s sold SOOOO well proves just how good the concept is! Because it’s so utterly simple and works so very well.
This was a weird video.
I like it I'll take a dozen 😂
It's going to be a failure if they don't do something. Selling the sams thing with better graphics isn't going to cut it.
With Nintendo it would because the graphical leap would be tremendous.
It'll succeed because the "same things" that they would be selling are phenomenal
