I like how the guys that did the mobile home I live in didn't cement the sewage plumbing. I found that out after we had a clog in one of the 90s under the house.
Plumbing on other home is jammed up. I want to fix myself. Knowledge to add too my mental tool box. Every running together. Sink in toilet/toilet in tub. Washer in toilet & tub. Adjusting to work around the situation until I learn diy for self. Different sizing of pipes in different areas. Does a snake or a bladder work best???
I did kids hot and cold water pipes Under their 2 bedroom 1 bath cabin now trying to tackle the sewage lines and grey water lines..to stub out for an arobic system septic, being new construction ( shell home ) I don’t have anything pre done 🫤 doing it all myself
I see 3 pipes coming down out of home. I know the larger one about 3-4 inch is drain pipe. But 2 smaller lines, 1 where water heater is like in your video and 1 around washer and dryer area. How do I figure out which pipe to connect water line?
Hello loved your video, I'm so excited!!! Once i set my used mobile on my land. Whom will I need to plumb it up?? So I'll know and have someone on stand by!!🙌
Looks like you have some great help. It makes for a much better work environment when you have help that good. I wished the younger guys that I work with took some initiative and paid attention to what is going on and anticipate what needs to happen. Man, that’s a blessing. Anyway, awesome video. Good job of presenting the problem and then just making it happen without speeding up the film. That sometimes messes up things.
hey hun, just took up a job with my neighbor about a month ago with these kinds of jobs, as well as electrical and water. I'm really taking a liking to it! You're just like us out there 😂 much love, stay safe out there ❤
Do you have some video showing the drop on that pipe. I need to see how I would set the drop on my hangers so I can have steady flow I have to replace all fittings from the toilets because the pipe is too high in certain spots
I probably do not have anything showing a reference or you can tell what the fall is quarter inch per foot is the minimum if you have it too much the water will run out from whatever you’re trying to carry
@@mybrotherdonnie thank you I'm just trying to figure it out so I can get it done I'm having problems with it carrying because I believe it's holding up too high like you're saying it's just getting stuck in the pipe so I have to readjust
Very nice video. Much appreciated. Question, If I'm coming out of my well and into the mobile home, do I need the feed to go into a water tank first, then on into the house?
Water tank you mean hot water heater or do you mean the little blue expansion tank needs to go into the expansion tank out of the well that maintains pressure and then it needs to go to the house the hot water tank it does not need to go to it first
I have a question, under my mobile home there are 3 different connections, the main water line with a shut off valve , the pipe line leading to the septic tank and I have a white pvc line leading out of the bottom of the water heater I believe but nothing connected to that? Where does that connect to? I’m currently fixing it up.
The one that comes out of water heater is not hooked to anything basically that is a pop off if the hot water heater gets too much pressure in it it will blow that valve on the side of the hot water heater and all the water will run underneath the mobile home but if you try to hook it to the sewer you will get sewer gases you could tee onto it and run it out from underneath the house so it would not be under the house but this hardly ever happens I’ve only had one hot water heater in my lifetime use that valve
Hi guys great video so did you hook the well line into the cold water line going into water heater? And then it draws the water to the rest of house? I have a mobile home.
Yes but it tees off before the hot water heater that waterline was directly underneath the water heater but like I say it takes off and goes to all the other cold water and then it goes into the hot water heater
That’s what I was trying to tell him to get me but all we had was vice grips and for some reason they wouldn’t take it off I couldn’t hold the can tied enough to keep it from slipping
Tap the cap on the block. It always works for me.
I truly enjoyed watching this video 👍🏽
Thanks

That would be nice if you didn’t take a shower in sewage
@@mybrotherdonnie yeah luckily it didn't get me, but I had to clean it up anyways so I didn't get off completely.

Interior. I usually use a bladder exterior on the main. I use a snake.

It’s tough doing it by yourself
That wouldn't pass codes where I live, any black to white or vise versa has to use a rubber boot.
I’m glad I don’t live. Where are you do

Any plumber can do it
Hit the top flat on a hard surface gently. And also transition cement is required for gluing abs to pvc
Thanks

On a new can of glue you can bang the edge of the can lid all the way around on a cement block or something else hard and itll open right up

Pipe size determines the grade or slope of pipe use a good level and hang accordingly
