It's a very nice place. You could attach a curtain/roller blind on the inside of your bedroom divider-thingy if you wanted... Then it could feel like seperate little area. And you could roll it up if you wanted it see-through. Just an idea ^^
I'm sure it crossed her mind, but she did say the whole point of the see through divider was that they still get the light from that window into the rest of the house

I was planning to move on the 11th March but with everything unfolding in the world and my and my bf got laid off, we felt it wouldn’t be financially responsible to sign a lease (in fact he was laid off the day of our prospected move in so yeah). The place we want has a sunroom to the side of the front door and across from the kitchen that I plan to turn into my sewing space while the dining nook by the kitchen will be his guitar/work space. I can’t wait for all this mess to clear up so I can get it!!
Solidarity! I was in the middle of moving apartment when I got quarantined because someone at work caught the virus. By the time my isolation was over, the whole country had gone in lockdown. Now it's been 4 months and I still haven't finished moving in. Half of my stuff is still in storage. Hope you both find new jobs and a nice home for yourself very soon!

I feel like every person in the R29 sweet digs videos I watch don't like to admit that they pay a ton to live in cities like NYC. In my opinion, if your space is a priority, own up to the cost! more often than not, the sad part about creative works is indeed if you dont have enough money, you're likely to struggle and yess, also the environment and place you're working in, for some people, will begin to affect the productivity, and i dont know why's that but somehow me and my friends did work better when we felt comfortable with our surroundings, so i really understand why some people are willing to invest in something with their money. been following you for few months now and you're easily one of the youtubers and creators that i look up to create and work harder. i really wish you and your friends all the best so you guys can keep inspiring me and others with what you put out there for you and us. watching your videos really make me realize i gotta strive for something, create and work harder and smarter. thanks, wendy

When I first saw the room divider I was worried that the acoustics might be difficult because of the reflective surfaces, but you used acrylic instead of glass so it must be fine. Clever! It looks gorgeous in any case. Congratulations on a beautiful, cosy and functional home! Happy for you :)

Friends keep the budget down! And I love the honest discussion on money. Especially for longevity standpoint, future people could consider moving to the city and have a good idea what it costs or what it once cost to have a better understanding of living costs. I also like the mood board. It just exudes comfy. The statement light is SOOOOOO worth the cost! Definitely unique and not something you typically see. And like how it pairs with the graphic privacy walls of the bedroom. This is a home, in the heart of town... so many memories and so much love will envelope you and yours. Making it a lasting home to come.
I love the bedroom divider. I wanted to do a divider like that to divide my living room from my office/sewing area aka my sun room , but I'm cheap. Lol But I did go to Home Depot and white a fence lattice. I love that hat light.. lol
