But is an 8 year old truck "Really" worth that. I would say no. Example: I just bought (4 days ago) a 2022 Chevy 2500 Duramax LT Sport with 23000 miles for 50, 489. KBB can stuff it, NOT worth it! It is a nice truck though, but until dealers come down to reality people will continue to not buy trucks.

The problem with that logic is when we offer someone below KBB for their trade we’re greedy and trying to rob them, when we sell it for what KBB says we’re overpriced and need to come down to reality lol so which one is it?

@@BadoreksDailys Its not just dealers I understand your position. However KBB ,NADA, Edmunds you name them, along with manufactures are keeping the prices inflated often to the detriment of the consumer. But keep in mind I flew from Texas to Florida to get the best deal on my truck. If its a good deal and people know it, they will go out of there way to get it. Not trying to be disrespectful to you on a dealer level, just venting in general.

@@howardandbritt1978 oh believe me we all agree! Trust me, as a salesperson I’d be STOKED if all these prices came down a ton. There’s a lot behind the scenes the general public doesn’t understand. Not ONLY have manufacturers raised MSRPS, they’ve shrunk dealer profit margins AND decreased incentives. Our typical maximum profit (if you paid MSRP for say a $70,000 truck) would be somewhere around $4,500-$6,000. Sounds like a lot, but that’s not even 10%. We have a very very very small Influence overall on the general pricing issues.
