Hey! Mind if I ask, no hostility just curiosity... why do you go with blasters instead of airsoft? These are about double what some high end airsoft pistols (Tokyo Marui, KJW, or even better WE's) cost and about the same as some budget/mioddle entry airsoft rifles with sometimes 6061 bodies (most often Nylon reinforced polymer or zamak alloy).
Reminds me of the max speed Scout pistol, also known as the machine pistol from TF2 MvM.
I almost want to get one, except I have no one to play against.
Or Sniper's SMG.

Reminds me of the Skorpion VZ 61, that little Czech SMG developed in 1959.
It makes me sad to see stuff like this, when I know Nerf is failing. It has no room to improve due to the restrictions they put upon themselves. I would love to see what products we’d get if the designers were allowed to run wild with the blasters.
IMO the Rival line is the only one worth purchasing (but again is still held back by these same restrictions)

Amazing blaster, but I'd rather pick up a 15 dollar hammer shot than a fancy 300 dollar sidearm. I just can't justify it and I think that can be said for a lot of us.

Seyla Phoeuk the 3d part is cheap and easy, just set and forget. Id guess most of the money goes into the time it takes to design. Not cheap cuz they arent mass produced

Beautiful design - back in the late 70s /early 80s between dat guns and cap uns there was a golden age of toy gun design for a shirt time and now i feel we are finally there again! Love the channel! Drooling over the Nexus Pro!!
Very nice design! Also much appreciated he put in both the trigger guard release AND a traditional paddle. I really feel like I'm falling behind day by day by not having a solid printer. Real neat!

The Hummingbird is a fantastic SMG style blaster. And this new blaster is even more desirable! My new favorite Side Arms are this one and MHP's Desert Pigeon Mk.8
I love machine pistol style blasters. Nice thing about the rail is yo can add a sling point.
You really tuned down the noise from the flywheels. I just got mine, and holy hell, is it loud!
I think the smoke talon mags would look super nice with that blue and black color scheme you've got going on there

Any idea if you will ever be able to restock the Narfduino Smart Board V1.6? Bought the files for this blaster and it is a shame you cannot get the parts to build it...
Those green things on the top tend to also be on various other guns, tritium vials because they illuminate in any light level essentially, and at a bright enough level that you can see the dots typically. Altho tritium ones aren't probably as common as the ones you mentioned. which work well in well lit areas. but not so when your hiding in a shady area waiting for the perfect moment to strike thy enemy.
Not to be a killjoy, but I"m honestly not that excited for this blaster. It seems like every new 3d printed blaster is just another microwheel half-dart flywheeler. It's not that they aren't cool, I'd just like to see some different designs, or maybe some springers, or some full-length design. I don't know, a change of pace just might be nice. I have to say though, someone needs to design a kit for this to make it a tec-9. That would be AMAZING.
Has anyone made a water powered blaster? When you press the trigger, it releases a pressurized stream of water aimed to spiral down the barrel. This accelerates the dart by splashing against the rear. An optional "silencer" chamber recovers most of the water. The spiraling and conservation of angular momentum ensures that the water flings itself at an angle away from the centerline.
The magazine simply feeds ammo directly into side of the breech - no need for any air seal. The dart goes "whoosh" down the barrel as soon as it interrupts the water stream. Conveniently, it imparts spin to the dart and the water also lubricates the barrel.
No spin up time. You just press the trigger and it instantly starts spitting out darts.
Luke, awesome review, thanks for the video. I prefer the transparent black talon mags. Please do a review of JackRabbitNerfer's Bulwark. I love P90's an Bullpup blasters, and the Bulwark is just too cool for words.

if there was a double stack version, it would make it even better. could also 3d print a heat shroud to make it look even closer to a tec 9.

This is awesome. I have an idea if u wanna try it. Take the d dart tempest system, and replace the rotating cylinder with a belt system. Just some putty and voila, a fast firing belt fed machine gun. I think a vulcan body would work the best. Oh and take out the springer internals and rewire to a flywheel system. I built a prototype a while back and it seemed like if I finished, it would totally bomb everything. Idk just a. Suggestion. A stinger machinegun would be awesome.

I am curious! Why would you not move up to airsoft if these are so expensive? These are double what some 6061 aluminum airsoft handguns are and even some of the rifles... glass reinforced nyl-on receivers etc can be gotten at the same price or a few ZAMAK blends. I am just curious if you don't mind!

I suppose it's possible, but generally a longer barrel is something to avoid with flywheelers because of performance loss.
