Using sny synthetic oil and regular oil changes will allow your engine to run for a very long time. I have been using Walmart SuperTech oil on 2 vehicles i own. A 2011 RAM hemi with 273,000 miles and a 2013 Subaru with 142,000 miles. There may be better motor oils but since they all have to maintain govt regulations I believe any synthetic oil will be fine as long as it's changed regularly.
Those are popular because they're the most widely known amsoil is probably still the best they have their scientists chemists that work very hard on making sure that it is working correctly for any engine that needs to use specific blends.
Yes, they're all good oils. But Amsoil is number one and no real testing would leave it out. I'm amazed Royal Purple made 5. $$$$ Big oil buys another "test!"
This was click bait, they just show cased the 5 most popular brands without any sort of testing to see which was better. Best way to go about it is go with one brand of oil and drive 3,000 miles now check avg fuel mileage. Do that again with your next choice of oil and again with another, now you have a true standard of comparison. Im guessing all the oils will come very close in mileage at the end of it, but if mileage wont give a clear answer, how the motor responds with each brand will be the telling factor
Highly subjective.... I use mobile 1, and it just isn't as good as a claim. Valve rattling at startup is no good. It just means that there's no lube from a cold startup. After I made the switch to another different oil type. That valve rattling went away at every cold startup, which is what you want .
Yeah me too. Just started to use Penzoil platinum ultra in the wife’s 2013 ES350 with 120 k miles . The brief cam phaser rattles at start up with a store brand 0-20 synthetic totally went away after a week of the Penzoil product in the motor.
Different oils have different additive packages. And thus the types of metals & materials through the internals of a motor will determine the best most apptpriate oil to use. Also how the car, SUV or truck is used can play a roll also in example such as do you do mostly city stop and go driving. Or will you be mostly towing with it. So this video is misleading and is simply a large commercial.
Amsoil has proven to beat all of these oils including royal purple in every way. Waste of a video. Amsoil signature series is the best oil money can buy
@fofiveohbrap9092 yeah...I recently switched to amsoil signature series and I can tell the difference I. How suv perform. Is much quieter and much smoother at every startup.
Pennzoil Ultra Platinum has been proven in many ACTUAL online ware test to be far superior to most oils shown here. Who paid this TH-camr to rate this oils by 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5... Some False info here!🥵
Amsoil has proven to be one of the best (if not the BEST) oils on the market. By not even ranking it in the top five shows that your opinion/reviewing is a JOKE!
I don't see one oil analysis. Redline has the highest anti-wear package I've seen in an analysis. So you basically have nothing to prove the claims you make.
La mayoría de los usuarios tienen carros normales de uso cotidiano para usar amsoil que cuesta 3 veces más para que haga el mismo trabajo es tirar tu dinero a la basura. Y ya todos nos dimos cuenta que sabes de aceite.
I was using Mobil 1 now I use Pennzoil Platinum because I noticed my engine runs quieter and smoother 👍

Amsoil has it's challenges, especially with air-cooled engines
