    I don't know if you turned up the talking mic, or lowered the audio on the shooting clips, but I THANK YOU for that. My dogs weren't even bothered. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!! I wish other gun tubers would do this. I don't feel the need to feel like I'm there at the range with them.

    I got mr920, but after every 100 rounds it started to have light primer strikes, I had to stripped it full, clean it and assemble back. Then after abother 100 rounds couple of light primer strikes every mag.
    After some struggles they replaced slide, it worked but I lost interest in this gun and returned to glocks.
    But they are beatyfull 😊

      Yep, mine looks great but that all. It hasn't malfunctioned but the sloppy slide actually moves up and down as I pull the trigger. The shotgun groups at 25 feet are disappointing to say the least. I really had high hopes for it at almost 2x the price of a glock.

    So I find this somewhat interesting. I have done nearly all the same drills, with nearly all the same guns, recently. I have a G17 Comp with OvP trigger, a Metal Carry Comp with apex, and a Walther PDP Pro with HA comp. I shoot the Walther best, Carry Comp next, and G17 last but only because of hit factor, on speed its the opposite order. I simply think the Walther/Canik splits the difference in terms of speed and has tremendous accuracy and that is why its just edging out the other two. Now I have on order an optic cut for my G17 but otherwise these are very closely outfitted guns. Could it just be that both of us need a good optic on the Glock? hmm...

    I purchased their MR920L back in February of 2023. Great dam, good pistol. Only issue i ever had was it did not like 2A patriot ammo because of its soft primers. It would hit them just melt the primer. Unfortunately, i had to sell it because of swelling issues with my fingers. Couldn't get a good grip on its shorter 15 round frame. So now i put on layaway their XR920P model. After i purchased Smith&Wesson new carry comp metal. I know shadow systems XR920P would just be as good if not possible a little better. As far as ammo to run in the XR920P. What do you recommend on grain for FMJ and self-defense ammo for the XR920P?On my Smith&Wesson carry comp. She loves 147 grain fmj and my self-defense ammo i run federal syntech defense SJHP 138 grain.

    • @TheGentlemanGunner
      @TheGentlemanGunner  29 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @@jamesdelong6401 im simple and my recommendation for ammo is usually based on how both consistent and reliable it is in addition to having a quicker return to zero. As such, I’d Lean virtually on any Factory FMJ 115 (Blazer, etc)… the additional gas and velocity expelled by having a lower bullet weight work the comp a touch more aggressively. I’ve got to test some defensive rounds and I’ll include in the upcoming comparison.

    My thought is. For the price you pay. The quality control is too hit or miss. Yes, I am a Glock shooter. Rather than talking trash about Shadow Systems. I hope they get their act together.
    It’s just so unfortunate that it looks good. They try to innovate. But too many reviews even comments in this very video seem to indicate a lot of QC issues.

    • @TheGentlemanGunner
      @TheGentlemanGunner  28 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@theriddler4914 well… the OZ9 will feel great in the hands from the extra bit of weight and all the parts are fitted to tighter tolerances. Zevs in general will have a smoother shooting sensation. But here’s the thing with Zevs… from my experience… they do not do well on the 2nd hand market and trading them in comparison to most other guns is a joke… so the Market doesn’t believe that Zevs are worth the money. I like them and have have had decent luck with them… but the market has caught upto them IMHO and this SS has done a better job being a direct competitor

  • @MarvinTurner-oc4ml

    For me, this is a nice gun but not worth the asking price. I only have one gun that is remotely similar, a Bul Armory Axe C Cleaver. I doubt that adding a compensator to it would cost $750, and that is the difference between my purchase price and the Shadow Systems gun. I suspect that I would experience the better return to zero that you found in this pistol if I added a comp to my Cleaver. If I bought a Glock of similar size, would the cost to bling it out to the same level bring it to the price of the Shadow Systems? I ask because I don't know - I don't do Glock 😜. If the Shadow Systems XR920P could be purchased for about $700 I might buy one. I only bought the C Cleaver because they had them on a great sale price and I was curious if a Glock-style pistol would be any fun. It is.
