- Nearly every gun enthusiast has a 1911 or has Grandpa that has one. In my quest to build my first "Gunsmith 1911"... I came across Fusion Firearm's Reaction 1911 "Builder's Kit"... This gun exceeded my expectations and if you're new to both 1911s and the 45 ACP Cartridge... this one needs to be your first!

Nice video, thank you for your good works!... Bob
Nice video. You are probably the frist to do a review of the Fusion 1911 REACTION in 45
@@TheRealZJM377 all by accident too!
I wish i had bought a DAN WESSON back when bob first picked them up. The vbob in stainless was like 900 or so. People were comparing them to much more expensive pistols. I want one of these fusion kits. Im glad they are offering this lower line. I love the options. Im definitley gonna buy a trigger kit for my colt this year maybe at christmas. I think a blue trigger with machined parts would go well in my Competition Special. I think it gives you around a three pound pull.
Nice video cool concept thanks for sharing!
Luv those grips, gotta get them for my kimber
👍

I would not say 1911's are that simple 😅. I broke my Prodigy, and even with the help of someone who was experienced with working on 1911's we messed up some safeties.
Assembling a 1911 is one thing, but be careful doing any tuning or smithing.
How'd you break it?
I mean... break isn't the right word is it?
@@Osprey1994 fair comment and I agree. I should’ve elaborated more on how this is inexpensive enough to do some trial and error work on it. But that’s probably relative to someone’s definition of what’s a “sacrificial gun”.
Wait u didn't use the warranty?
when fitting parts, and or tuning on any firearm, you really need to have more than the basic user level of knowledge. they arent rocket science, but you do have to have a full understanding of how the parts all interface with each other.
The sights are my biggest issue with this pistol. They are NOT Novak sights, Novak sights DO NOT FIT this gun! I have not found a rear sight that will fit this slide. The front sight is the same dove tail size as Rock Island. You can put a Dawson RIA front on with no extra fitting. The rear is no such luck. I had to end up sending mine to Novak to get the rear dove tail recut to change out the rear sight. Other than this misleading information from Fusion I found this pistol to be excellent in every other way. Price, fitting and accuracy is most excellent. All 1911 aftermarket parts work well except for the trigger bow track. The trigger bow track is not is wide as most other 1911's so if you want a different trigger as I did you will need to take quite a bit off of the trigger bow height to get it into the gun. Well fit, great trigger and outstanding accuracy is my experience. They also provide outstanding customer service should you have a question or an issue but the sight thing to me is off putting. They will not admit that the advertising about the the sights is just a straight up lie and they double down on that lie when confronted. I really don't understand why they do this and it was a big let down to me because it was one of the main reasons I purchased the kit. Otherwise I would also recommend this pistol to anyone looking for a great 1911.
😮😮 VERYGOOD sudyord
