Sorry for the crappy music quality. But it came from TES Redguard, and it felt fitting
it is ok not that crappy
its not crappy just WAY to loud. hard to hear you over it
I like the Redguard music it's my fourth favorite song in The Elder Scrolls series.
STOP APOLOGIZING
It's perfect.
I thought that Hammerfell left the Empire because according to the terms of the White-Gold Concordat, Hammerfell was forced to cede some territory to the Aldmeri Dominion, which the Redguards refused to do. I don't think they were angry because the Legion had to withdraw troops for the Battle of the Red Ring.
Man it may sound stupid, but I really appreciate you make videos like this.I'm very fan of T.E.S games and I like always the videos how you explain to them.My house was destroyed but Hurricane Maria here in Puerto Rico and well I was without electricity for 91 days, I was in a shelter back then.Know i'm leaving in my grandmother's house and what with very few think I could have save from my house.See this video make me feel happy and relax wile you explain the Hammerfell situation. Thanks you from the bottom of my heart☺
+Xadiel Ruiz No problem man, good luck! I wish you the best!
That terrible :( best wishes to you and your family.
Plot twist the the next game is in skyrim where you play as the dragon born and hunt dragons while choosing between imperials and stormcloaks but with more glitches
i dont know why imperial knowledge thought the music was bad? i actually think the redguard soundtrack is so nostalgic just like morrowind; has that same charm music wise
+kwadwo baidoo I really really like it. The music itself. Just the audio quality due to it being so old. So like the clarity I dont like, I absolutely adore themusic, that is why I put it in a video haha
Kwadwo Stop being everywhere!
Maybe the next ES game will be in Hammerfell! Would be pretty good I reckon, some nice Dwemer ruins and different climates, also the interesting political situation internally as well as with the Empire and Dominion.
Dom Morrison Yeah I would love to ride a camel across deserts in search of lost treasure!
I agree with your argumentation, and that's why I think it it one of four possible scenarios, but not the most probable. I think the most probable scenario is Elsweyr, and here is why:
1. ESO is part of the Elder Scrolls universe, and is very much alive and well.
2. In ESO, the least playable provinces are: Elsweyr, Summerset Iles, Black Marsh, Skyrim and Hammerfell. Roughly in that order. The entirety of High Rock, Valenwood, almost the entirety of Morrowind, and the majority of Cyrodiil are playable.
3. The parts of Tamriel we've gotten to explore in the official TES series games are: The whole of Tamriel, the parts of High Rock and Hammerfell located around the Iliac Bay, Vvardenfell, Cyrodiil, and Skyrim.
4. Unless they decide to set TES6 in the whole of Tamriel again (which is one of the four possible scenarios, especially considering Todd Howard's comments about them not having the technology yet for what they envision), it will most likely not take place in a province where they have set previous TES series games, except for maybe a small DLC place like Solstheim, but not the full game.
5. This leaves Elsweyr, Black Marsh, Hammerfell, and the Summerset Iles, except that the Summerset Iles is in this time ruled by the Thalmor, and will most likely not allow any non-mer presence on the Iles, except for maybe Auridon, which is the already playable island in ESO. This takes Summerset Iles out of the running.
6. This leaves us with three possible scenarios where TES6 is set in a single province.
7. Black Marsh is possible because only the northern part of Shadofen is playable in ESO, it has not been in any TES series game since Arena, and is a somewhat alien place, which was one of the reasons behind the success of Morrowind, plus that since it annexed Deshaan, there is an interesting political conflict in the area, and they could have the nostalgic fungal fauna there. It is the least probable of the four possible scenarios though, since huge parts of Black Marsh would only be explorable for Argonians (or experienced alchemists), giving it a bit of the same restrictions as Summerset Iles, but not as much. (It should be noted that depending on the size of the poisonous area, it could be similar to the area within the Ghostfence in Morrowind, which is why it is not AS restrivtive as Summerset Iles.)
8. Hammerfell is possible mainly because most parts of it are not playable in ESO, the fact that they are currently outside both the Empire and Aldmeri Dominion, and the conflicts mentioned in the video. Is is not the most probable though, since both TES 4&5 took place in human regions making it less alien in climate, culture, and inhabitants. It has also been featured at least partly in TES2, and even though most parts are not playable in ESO, the regions of Alik'r desert, Craglorn, southern Bangkorai, Hew's Bane and Stros M'kai are playable there.
9. Enter Elsweyr, or more specifically Pelletine and Anequina. Here we have a province that is now two countries. Sure, they are puppet states of the Aldmeri Dominion, but independence from a foreign oppressor is starting to look like a common theme through most parts of Tamrielic history. They have varied climate and culture depending on which of the countries you are in, but they can both deliver that alien feeling. Plus, we have yet to see a TES series game be set in a province in southern Tamriel (obviously excluding Arena, and the miniscule part of southern Tamriel occupied by southern Cyrodiil in Oblivion).

Very interesting. I like the way it's all summed up!
Did you write all of that out? Or did you copy it? Interesting all the same though mate!
Thanks! I wrote it myself ^^
tehMorion
Nice job mate!
So where do you think the next ES game will be set? If like one maybe in Akavir but that's highly unlikely for many reasons unfortunately.
I'm going towards maybe highrock or Hammerfell in maybe 20/30 years when the great war 2.0 has kicked off or about to, I know it still pretty much is on between the redguards and Dominion though so that could be cool, and I absolutely love the Dwemer, so that's be cool in Hammerfell. I doubt the Dwemer would return though in any form except maybe that one who is still alive.
I’m so fucking hype over hammerfell being the next location can’t wait to play it. Been a long long time fan of the series..dam feels like I practically grew up with it. So good.
The south of Hammerfell looks like the island of Summerset Isle.
The effects of the Great War is still being felt in Tamriel because of the Dominion exerting and exercising it's power in most of the provinces. It seems to me Hammerfell is more likely to ally with Skyrim (assuming it also secedes from the Empire) due to lingering anti-Empire sentiment and how similar Skyrims situation is to Hammerfell I thinks it's likely the Empire dissolves at least temporarily and the provinces are independent.
I actually really appreciated the real world comparisons in this video. Im a huge fan of history and geopolitics, so a video with that and TES? Brother you just earned a subscriber
😂the British had respect. You cheeky sod.
Elderscrolls IV: HAMMERFELL CONFIRMED
King Manny * Cough Cough* High Rock
* Cough Cough*
VI*
IV - 4 or VI - 6
Today we figured out u were right
But TES IV is in Cyrodiil
If the elder scrolls 6 takes place in hammerfell you become a sword singer and fight the thalmor
Been listening to you for about a month now, and I adore the series. I'm a major lore buff (especially fantasy lore) so this series really peaked my interest and now I can't stop listening. Good work!
I wish that they had nomadic tribes that control most of the land
Wish you'd make more Hammerfell videos.
I loved the WW2 comparison. Great video!
Imperial Knowledge. thank you for making this videos always a pleasure to watch, and learn more of the lore
Think when ES6 comes out well be after the war? Or during? That would be kind of cool if similar to skyrim's choice you could either bend the factions tighter, or split them up entirely, and to REALLY expand on it, choose which faction to complete either the split or bond
You should do a Highrocks situation theory video. I say theory because not much is known
When I think of the Great War at the time of Skyrim, I think it's actually fair for the population in general to still have trauma from the war. Like you said, they're in a cold war with the dominion, and many of the people alive fought in the war and realize that another one is looming overhead. I feel all that trauma coming back to the population and causing panic across the Empire is pretty fair
First, great video, keep going :) Second, can you talk about the Sinistral Elves (also known as the Left-Handed Elves) and your theories about them. Thank you
Is it posible for Skyrim(if gains Independence) to make an Alliance with Hammerfell? Because the Empire doesn,t seems to be confronting the thalmor. I think Skyrim and Hammerfell are natural allies
The Empire does plan to confront the Thalmor.
Skyrim and Hammerfall are natural allies? xD
They hate each other and fought many bloody battles at the border. Bretons and Redguards have been traditional allies and their noble houses have mixed for centuries, prominent example is High King Emeric marrying the Daughter of High King Faharajuad, to form the Daggerfall Covenant.
@@eatsthedarkness8059 high rock is under empire right now.
Idk I think comparing the crowns and the forebares' union would be closer to Austria-Hungary, rather than the USA
"30 years ago... the British still had self-respect." That took me out.
Let’s compare the Great War to ww1, the other Great War, cos both were preceded by long periods of peace and proxy war. And 20 years after ww1 there was still a ton of resentment, enough to cause ww2.
Man, I love your channel, but I'm not so good in english, could you put subtitles in your videos? I would like to translate to portuguese
8:09 - Those examples... I loved them XD
I really love the music
I would love hammerfell. With DLC for High Rock, Orsinium and maybe even the imperial city or some daedric/something else for the final one. Of course, im not set on these. I would also love to be surprised.
Lots of people complain about Skyrim but its a 10 year old game. Compare 10 years before 2011. 2001. We had Morrowind. And while i love that game there's a lot about it that is just not high quality. Its easy to look at skyrim now and act like nobody liked it but it was rare to see someone have that opinion back then. Extremely rare. Lots of the gripes against the game are also what i call 'hyper-specific scenarios."
One of my favorite gripes is that you couldn't conquer skyrim and then ride on the imperial city with your army lmfao
specific gripes and unrealistic expectations are the hallmark of many fans that dont like Skyrim. After all these advances in gaming, im pretty confident that Bethesda has been taking notes. They know they have to come strong. Skyrim was a worldwide cultural phenomenon. To top that, and shut the naysayers up, they've got to bring their best. I know people will complain no matter what but im rooting for Elder Scrolls 6.
It should be hammerfell and highrock for free lmao
You're so soft on the Empire's decisions. You're name suits you !
Yap
Can you make a lore video on the First Nordic Empire ? There is not much about it and i would be curious to know more ^^
IK WIST DAT JE NEDERLANDS WAS. Cheers, love your videos vriend
Irrelevant TH-cam uploads: I sleep
HELL TH-cam!: REAL SHIT ?
Couldn't you easily argue the Empire is the greater threat though? The Aldmeri Dominion only wants some land. The Empire wants all of it so they can rule over them again like everyone else. I'll have to look up my lore again, but as I recall, almost nobody wanted to be in the Empire in begin with. Tiber Septim was a dictator who forced the other nations under his tyranny, except Morrowind, but even then that was only because he failed to conquer them, and he appeased them by enslaving members of his Empire and giving them to the Dunmer.
I would agree with you if it weren't for a couple good points. Firstly the Netherlands is a western European country and Hammerfell is based off of Arabian and African countries where they tend to hold on to grudges alot longer. Also the Netherlands allying with Germany is an event that occurred in the modern era unlike the Elder Scrolls which is based on Medieval times. And though I do agree with you that it has been a long time since the war the effects are still being felt, like Tholmor spies, and Saadia betraying Taneth. It would be smart for and alliance I don't see it as likely, similar as to how it would be smart for Skyrim to fight as one against the Dominion but they dont.
but at the time of skyrim the empire and the dominion ar practically the same fachshin and i heard there was a war going on in hammerfell and that's why there are a lot of redguards going the join the stormcloaks in skyrim
I'd like TES 6 To be In Hammerfell but my only Problem would be Magic. The Redguard's aren't big fans of Magic and we'd need some ways to buy spells and Train in Magic. I'd really enjoy wandering the Hammerfell Deserts looking for Dwemer Ruins and Other Stuff
Redguards only dislike conjuration magic, they are similar to the Dunmer and see reviving their ancestors as unholy act. Elinhir is very prominent for the Apex Stones and the huge Mage tower, that was built by the Nedes, who were very talented in the magical arts. Many scholars and wizards live in that city.
Restoration magic is seen a lot actually and they highly respect it.
Some of the ancient ansei were mages too actually.
Azra Shadowhielder was a brilliant enchanter and expert in shadow magic, according to Neloth Telvanni and introduced revolutionary techniques, he was a Redguard too.
Rihad is crown city
Didn't talos destroy one of the factions in hammerfell by teaming up with the other and thats how he conquered hammerfell
Anderson Dalmeus he killed the rulers of stros m’kai
When are you gonna do the forebears and the crowns
How do you think cyradill is 30 years later?
Imperial Knowledge, do you think that there is a possibility of Hammerfell rejoining the Empire?
Maybe after the thalmor have been defeated
Joining? Not some time soon.
But an alliance doesn't sound far fetched.
Imperial Knowledge Good. I would really like if the Empire were once again like it was in the time of Tiber Septim.
Imperial Knowledge Another thing, I didn't knew that you were from Nederlands.
Hell no
I love your videos, they have been very informative and very good. However I disagree with you here.I feel like you are making an assumption that the Refguards of Hammerfell don't feel any resentment towards the empire based off the 30 years from the conflict as well as the idea of "the enemy of my enemy is my friend." I dont think that is a logical conclusion to make. It being only 30 years since the war ended, there are many veterans and thier families that would keep the resentment for how the Empire seeded Hamerfell to the Dominion to save Cyrodil. I also think that just because both the Empire and Hammerfell both hate the Thalmor, does not mean they are willing to set aside thier issues to unite, proof of this is the Skyrim civil war. Both sides hare the Thalmor but that does not lead to them working together at all.
A really like this kind of rich vid! ;)
Hammerfell is like the United States? I like that!
How is hammer fell govern It’s sort of similar to how Saudi Arabia operates
Play elder scrolls online and you'll see .
