I really hope we get High Rock and/or Hammerfell because they both have unique cultures and lore. I even hope that they use the technology they learned from Starfield to maybe include a ship mechanic since you have the Iliac Bay.
It’s not because of the idea of two provinces, having hammerfell or high rock without traveling within the iliac bay is just impossible. Both provinces have so much mercantile actions involved to just ignore one another.
Hammerfell is more diverse a locale than a lot of people realize. Sure you have your vast deserts like Alik'r and the Fallen Wastes, but you also have greener areas like Sunforge, the Dragontail Mountains, upper Craglorn, upper Bangkorai, Hew's Bane, and Stros M'Kai.
Yeah, I’ve always got that impression from that quest as well. And the fact that you can’t even start it til after you slay the first Dragon in the main quest makes it feel like a hint at what’s to come.
When it comes to map sizes, the Skyrim overworld size is fine, but the cities need to be 10x larger. That’s an exaggeration, but they were unnecessarily small in Skyrim
Feels like each passing day Hammerfell is closer to us! Recently on Reddit, people found out a Bethesda artist was saving many reference pics on Pinterest. The pics were mostly of desert clothing, black people, and desert landscape. Some time after that, the artist's profile was completely private and no one could see what they were saving!!
Something I noticed when Starfield came out, is that the black NPCs kinda looked more realistic/natural than the others, and that immediately made me wonder if Bethesda was putting extra consideration into the look of the black NPCs in the case of a future game being predominantly populated by them (I.E. a game set in Hammerfell).
Oh yeah, I remember seeing those pics on pinterest a while ago to. A lot of West African, North African, and middle eastern inspired pics so Tes 6 its definitely gonna be set in Hammerfell. Though I also remember seeing some medieval English and French inspired pics there to which made believe we might be getting Hammerfell and High Rock.
If its set in hamerfell then im gonna play as an orc so far each game ive played as the set race in that content like dark elf for morrowind and cyrodill for imperials and skyrim for the nords lol cant wait to play as a orc or a red gaurd either that would be dope also im a new fan to the elder scrolls and fallout series or well Bethesda games in general
There's another thing that could be a clue. Erik the Slayer, the NPC created in honor of a fan that died of cancer six months before the release of Skyrim, says that after he gains experience traveling with the dragonborn, wants to adventure to Hammerfell.
@@hillehai He was a hardcore TES fan, he would have wanted it. Boethiah's quest was about ripping you from your closest friends, and I had many a journey with Erik exterminating Forwsworn
One of the dlcs could possibly be high rock which would be a great move for Bethesda because that could possibly serve as the main dlc with the sheer scale of it, it could also take a year or so to release after the main game and any other dlcs
Considering how Bethesda likes dlcs situated on islands I'd bet on it being betony balfiera stros mkai the systers or that small one from daggerfall cybiades or something.
Morrowind to Oblivion: 15.8% of my life at the time. Oblivion to Skyrim: 20.8%. Skyrim to TES VI: If 2026 is the release date, 38.5% of my life to that point
Hopefully someone takes up the mantle because the original author of those books was an imperial man you could meet in Morrowind who has likely been dead since before oblivion happened in the timeline. If he had a descendant pick up his Great x4 grandfather’s work, that would be hilarious.
I was 12 when Skyrim came out, I remember thinking, “damn I’m going to be in college by the time I get to play Elder Scrolls VI”. Now I’m 26 just hoping I get to see a new game before I turn 30…
My dude they made 3 games between now and Skyrim, a new engine, a few story expansions for each of those games and a whole new IP. How don’t they have an excuse?
@@TheParagonIsDead those games were not TES 6 is my point. They have intentionally put it on the back burner and done other projects instead. I never said they weren't busy. I said there's no excuse why a game sequel is coming out 17 years later. They've chosen to wait 2 decades. That's ridiculous.
@@vorteco7692 but there is an excuse. They’ve spent 6 years working on it and in the 17 years they’ve released other products. Just because you don’t find that as a viable excuse doesn’t mean there isn’t one. You also got elder scrolls online. The only reason I’m even commenting tho is I feel the need to point out that if they spent 2 years in development and released an unfinished game then you would be pissed about that. Can’t have it both ways.
Starfield gets a lot of blame for that of disrupting the flows of Elderscrolls to Fallout and vice versa. Also I wonder if part of it mightn't be same as Dragon Age 4 it at some stage didn't get live serviced to hell that they had to draw back, seeing how poorly that trend is turning out.
I would just like to point out that Skyrim's map size was scaled down to the technology of the time it was developed in. Skyrim is supposed to be a continent with millions of people living in it. In the game its the size of a small county with a mere handful of barley populated villages in it. With today's technology I expect something a little more immersive, a little bit bigger. Though I pray to the gods they don't try to solve that problem the same way they did in Starfield.
Ngl I think after learning about elder scrolls lore and whatnot I’ve concluded the Redguards have definitely gotta be the most badass race. These guys seriously drove back the Aldmeri Dominion BY THEMSELVES and forced them to renegotiate their treaty, simultaneously showing the middle finger to both the Dominion and the Empire. I also believe if the Stormcloaks canonically won the Skyrim civil war then Ulfric would be smart to try making an alliance with Hammerfell, and would definitely make the storyline more interesting IF ES6 is based there.
Sure Redguards are really cool and did indeed win, there are a few reasons why. 1. ALOT of imperial “ deserters “ stayed behind to help Redguards. 2. The thalmor army wasn’t led by their good generals. 3. Didn’t have the Orb of Vaermina that the main army had ( it let’s you spy on whatever you want ) huge reason to why they won in the first place. Sorry for this I’m bored :)
@@statuz6947 Regardless, they defeated the Aldmeri Dominion independently. The Imperial deserters thing only enhances the middle finger to the Empire imo lol.
@@jesseleeshoemakerjr5461 Well, without any help, Redguards defeated as well. i mean, give me many buffs you can, i won't try to invade Dagon's realm. Don't get me wrong, i also think that Redguards are badasses too but i don't think they are the most badass race.
yeah i sincerely doubt that, judging by the last few games we'll be lucky if we even get half the content we had in skyrim, even luckier if bethsoft drops that awful random generation tech they used to create 99.98% of starfield's planets and dungeons
If we hope and pray perhaps and that is an absolutely monolithic perhaps, the great lord Toddfather may bless us with the second coming of Skyrim. 🙏🙏🙏Otherwise the fans are gonna crucify him!
Another thought about why it should definitely be Hammerfell: Swordsinging, the revival of this ancient redguard art could be a possibility for a new special power mechanic in TES 6 similar to what dragon shouting was in Skyrim. As from a game design standpoint adding a completely new feature like dragonshouts in one game and then not keep or replace it with something new in the next game but completely removing it without replacement would be kind of weird.
I'm sceptical to the idea of adding sword-singing as a mechanic because, you know, SWORD-singing. I want to play the kind of character I want. I even want the option to play a pacifist. I don't want to be railroaded into becoming a sword-wielder. Also the damage Shouting did to the magic system. Though I suppose the potentials for a Jedi inspired build are intriguing.
@@Aewon84 IIRC, Morrowind and ESO both established that the Shehai don't have to manifest solely as swords and can instead take the shape of whatever is more appropriate according the nature of the soul of the sword singer. Some Shehai reportedly manifested as magic staves, spell tomes, bows, etc.
Skyrim was the only elder scrolls game that had an attack/ability as the unique feature. Oblivion just had oblivion gates and morrowind had different outcomes throughout the story.
Bethesda needs to get off their high chair and outsource their IP, whatever mainline entries they create, third parties could create their 'New Vegas' style Elder Scrolls game, I'd love you see Black Marsh and Elswyr but they won't get their own numbered entries It's very clear from the sheer size of Hammerfell to the political landscape and biomes that it will be the next game in the series, but we could have had the entire continent covered by now or even an Akavir spinoff if Bethesda would just be willing to outsource it
I agree it's pretty dumb that they don't. Altough Todd has been asked about it but he seems to have some level of pride about the games and because of that doesn't want to. Likely also the fact that everyone likes New Vegas more than any of the Fallout games that Bethesda made probably made Todd a little salty. But at this rate the games are just coming out way to slow. If they want to keep interest on thier franchises players should get somthing new from an IP every now and then and not wait more than a decade. A spin off game every now and then between those long wait times for main line games could keep player invested in the IP. But well Bethesda isn't exactley smart these days anyway. I would be surprised if ES6 even turns out to be good.
Considering how easy it is to walk from one side of skyrim to another, I feel like it is canonically much bigger. Maybe distance is meant to be calculated by in game time and many locations in Skyrim were closer together for accessibility. That's to say I wouldn't mind if Hammerfell is just as big as Skyrim. They could do it (I hope)
It’s gotta! there’s tons of stuff in Skyrim of the Redguards mentioning what happening in there county and if lots of mention of hammer fell by NPCs more than any other country..
It was generally accepted a while ago that it would be Hammerfell and High Rock combined. Sure, it could be wrong, but that's been the consensus for many years.
13:00 The terrain from this trailer is heavily based on the crude terrain of Hammerfell that you can see if you clip outside the world border in skyrim. There's a photo of them side by side from the same spot and they both have the same in bay with the peninsulas, the hill the camera is flying over and the mountains in the distance. The announcement was made before pre production had even began so this was likely the only reference they had for the trailer as the map wouldn't be built yet.
@@jammyjammich They showed off that they scanned her face using photogrammetry, as well as how they were using photogrammetry for scanning terrain like rocks and stuff. I doubt they were actually developing much at the time though. Photogrammetry was already something they were using for starfield terrain, and they probably only scanned Shirley Currey at that point because they knew she might not still be around by the time they started full development.
Hammerfell would be fine, but was already mostly covered in Daggerfall. I hope not Valenwood, Elswyr, Black Marsh, or Summerset. I feel current-day Bethesda would just fuck it up by turning them into generic fantasy-land like they did with Cyrodiil. That said, I would trust them to at least get the geography right. Even they can't fuck up a lot of sand. I hope. If the Thalmor are the big bad for TES6, I think the game will be set in Summerset Isles, perhaps re-subjugating them to the Empire.
Not all of Hammerfell was covered in Daggerfall, same with High Rock, we only saw part of it. And it was a long time ago, both lore wise and for the engine used, so we could see some interesing things. That being said I absolutely agree with you about Black Marsh or Alinor. I would love to see these provinces, but Bethesda will probable made them way bellow what we learned about them
Sorry but the change for Cyrodil to be more classic Fantasy was much better The jungles/swamp area can be for Valenwood/Black marsh Cyrodil is probably the only place that’s classic fantasy (maybe high rock too)
@@reality_is_sin High Rock was always classic fantasy and is much more so than even Cyrodiil was in Oblvion, Cyrodiil was a „normal“ Jungle completely different from Black marsh. And Valenwood is not a Jungle but a big Forrest with walking trees.
Anything before Morrowind doesn't really count as done, given they were generically procedurally generated, and even then I'd be okay with Morrowind in modern graphics that focuses on the Mainland.
There are so many Hammerfell/Redguard references in Skyrim. It would be a huge surprise if ES6 wasn't in Hammerfell. It'd be great too, the environment is completely different to Skyrim. We've had dark and gloomy with Morrowind, classical fantasy with Oblivion and snowy and mountainous with Skyrim. Having a desert region would be completely new for Elder Scrolls.
For the date on the map, this was actually the date the map was made in universe, this date appears on all the skyrim map merch that came with the game :)
The Elder Scrolls VI: Sunforge could be a nice name for it since the view of the teaser seemed to be from around skaven overlooking the illiac bay. And Sunforge is the region skaven is located in and i just like how it sounds lol
This is why I'm excited for Beyond Skyrim. We could have gone to Valenwood, Black Marsh, some place we've never seen in an Elder Scrolls game. But we're presumedly going back to a desert country we've already been to and won't get the chance to see a new location for another twelve years after tes6 releases in five
Yeah you’ve convinced me, at first I wasn’t a believer mainly because I just really didn’t want it to be true but now I’m actually kind of excited for what they could do with region so thank you
Great video, but here's my personal argument against Hammerfell. You had many great points but they all rely on them continuing the story and world events of Skyrim. Every previous Elder Scrolls game has almost nothing to do with anything the game that came before it set up. Arena: Emperor is kidnapped and needs to be rescued -> Daggerfall: The Iliac Bay region is threatened by a ghost king and an ancient Mech has shown up and might change the coarse of history-> Morrowind: A resurrected hero needs to stop 3 gods and a false god who wants to spread a plague across the world -> Oblivion: Daedric forces have begun invading the world and are destroying and killing every race/civilization on Tamriel -> Skyrim: Dragons have returned to destroy/reset the world -> Elder Scrolls 6 ? Every game is it's own story with little to no major plot points from the previous games effecting its own story. From Oblivion to Skyrim was a 200 year time skip. For all we know Elder Scrolls 6 could take place at the end of the 4th era and the Thalmor and Empire are things of the past. I still loved the video, but I see so many people make plot based off of what Skyrim set up making the meme of it being "Skyrim 2" seem more real. The plots should always be stand alone and unpredictable. If you beat Oblivion and said "Ok, the Daedra have destroyed so much of Tamriel and killed the emperor and now the empire has no ruler. So obviously the Plot of Elder Scroills 5 will take place 200 years later in Skyrim and Dragons have returned" then you are really good a guessing.
There still is a lot of continuity between games: In Arena you reinstate the emperor and stop the empire from turning into chaos. In Daggerfall that very Emperor sends you on a special mission, there you uncover the Numidium and decide who will use it. In Morrowind you uncover the power of the Numidium with the Heart of Lorkhan, you kill the rulers of Morrowind and in Oblivion the ruler of the Empire gets killed. In Oblivion at the end the Dragon returns in Martin Septim and in Skyrim the Dragons return.
@@wul3391 Huh? DEI based games often make less money than „normal“ games, so why would a greedy company like Bethesda do it based on DEI? Also no matter where the game is set you will have a diverse population, as every province is home to all other races.
At 5:00 the year 182 probably doesnt mean anything. They just used the stanard map that came with the 360 and ps3 versions. I checked mine on my wall and it is the same
I very much do think Hammerfell will be the location. 1. Its one of the known places with Dwemer Ruins 2. Hammerfell is a really logical place to be a key battleground when the Thalmor start the second war. 3. Its location would mean they could obvious have part of High Rock as one of the main DLCs. 4. We haven't seen a desert climate in the mainline modern Elder Scrolls, while the north is more traditional biome. 5. I very much think the canon end to the Civil War will be the Dragon Born made the trice and then the Redguards and Dunmer came to the aid of the Stormcloaks so they could jointly forge a new Ebonheart Pact. It also just fits so well that in the Peace Talks Ulfric gives up the city that would be most easy for the Dunmer to attack and gains the city that would let the Redguards flank an Imperial Siege of Markarth trapping them in the valley leading to the city.
Great takes Master Neloth! The only thing I'm not in complete agreement on is the absence of High Rock. I think it may simply be covered in the tweet bc the clues are meant to point us solely to Hammerfell and Bethesda wanted to make the mystery easier. But maybe you're right 🤷♂ maybe it will just be Hammerfell in the base game. Though I think we'll definitely get part of High Rock in DLC. At the very least the Daggerfall area and perhaps Wayrest too for an Orsinium story. Thanks for the video!
4:47 The date of the map is unlikely to be related to the date of TES 6, the map is just the generic paper copy that came with every copy of Skyrim on the 360, they all hsve that date on them.
I know some people want the game to be in both Hammerfell and High Rock, but I'd rather see it just in one or the other. I'd rather see a game that's well crafted and potentially smaller than other games than something like Starfield which has vast amounts of nothing.
I also don't think the lore size of the province matters that much. Daggerfall has the smallest map lore wise but the largest map game wise. Games like GTA 5 and Cyberpunk 2077 have maps that rival Skyrim despite being set in just one city and the surrounding county. It all depends on how they scale it.
I'd rather them take the sweet time to perfect this than release hot trash like most of the crap coming out today Also i would love if it took place after the Skyrim events or and the butt end
I think it would be awesome if it took place in all of Tamriel since they are taking so long and it would be cool to return to some of the provinces from the earlier games (I know it definitely won’t)
imo Hammerfell makes sense, but given the scale of games these days, the sheer size and scope of Starfield and what modern hardware can push out, Hammerfell and Highrock could be in one game or the entirety of the Aldmeri Dominion
I kinda want to have all the areas combined in 1 game would be huge with the previous games just copy the landscape then attach it to the invisible wall of skyrim to walk to oblivion or morrowind
The same way in Fallout 3 someone was there looking for a person from the setting of Fallout 4, it seems like in TES5 there was someone looking for a person from the setting of TES6.
If it is Hammerfell (which I agree it is), I hope the game begins with Saadia being transported back to Hammerfell. The player then chooses one of 4+ characters in the cart being transported: a redguard female (then customized), redguard male (then customized), any race/gender, or Saadia herself, with each character being fully voiced. Or allow us to pick other characters. Maybe we are one of the guards transporting her. Do we try to prevent her escape or aid it? Do we play as someone who raids the transport convoy to break Saadia free, so we play as her friend/ally/family member/etc. Through dialogue with or as Shaadia, we find out if she was lying or telling the truth in Skyrim. We then either play through the story as her, or go our own way, either supporting or opposing her, or go our own way entirely. If we play as her, we open up related quests/storylines, like maybe we already have a home, allies, are in a guild, etc. If we choose to side with or against her, we may have a foot in the door to join certain faction(s) based on if Shaadia was lying or telling the truth. Or we play completely independent of her, just choosing an option like I don't know/care who you are, I'm only out for myself, and we are free to do whatever we want for the rest of the game. So from the very start of the game we can set up like one of ~15 storylines. - a prisoner who helps/opposes Saadia or takes no interest in her - a guard who helps/opposed Saadia - a raiding party who helps/opposes Saadia And dialogue choices determine if Saadia was lying or telling the truth. All the quests change based on that. Like if we choose to help her and she was telling the truth leads us to different quests/factions than if we chose to help/oppose her and she was lying. Maybe one path puts us on a course to joining the thieves guild, or mages guild, or whatever. Maybe one path gives us a lowly spot in a faction or an honored place in a guild or with another character. Whatever choice we make, there are like ~40 possible different starts for the game. If anyone thinks this is too big or bold, we've waited +10 years for this. Bethesda needs to up its roleplaying and give us more than two options, e.g. Stormcloaks or Imperials, to do or reject quests. Let players choices have significant impacts on the game. Let us decide more how to shape the world events, not just choose A or B. Let us choose A-H.
Its 100 in hammerfall u also see sentinel in distance also u missed talking about the crater in the trailer. Is this the main stroy of the game. Do the dwemers come back?drop from the sky
I think it’ll be Hammerfell for the sole reason that the Dwemer had a much smaller presence in southern Tamriel and because of how popular the Dwemer are in the fan base, they would want to try and maximize their profit, and people enjoy the Dwemer and their mysteries
If I remember right the theory the Thalmor wanted the "Towers" that are in each provinces. Think there trying to undo the world and become spirts/Fay again, but its been a while and i think the tower in summerset has be deactive by them also, not even sure if this Theory is still around
It’s been 13 years since the last mainline ES game. Surely with this amount of time, the game shouldn’t suffer from any significant amount of quality issues. I hope so, at least that would make the wait worth it! I really can’t wait for it anymore lol
What if elder scrolls 6 just ends up being DLC that adds hammer fell as a location to go to but the price is that you can't go back to Skyrim and you start over gear and coinage wise and you get extra skill trees and new perks in existing skill trees and they play a cinematic of your character aimlessly walking through the desert, maybe they pass out or get knocked out by someone and when you wake up all your stuff is gone, down to every last coin and lockpick and unused health potions
While I can certainly see why Hammerfell makes sense, and I'll be happy either way, I have this desire for it to be set in Elsweyr, or Valenwood, mostly Elsweyr, don't know why. Probably not happening, but I just really wanna go there. But if Hammerfell is the location, I'm fine with that too, cuz I love all the provines of Tamriel, so it doesn't matter where we go.
They might as well just do it in the iliac bay like daggerfall. It would be weird for it to be set in hammerfell when a major part of their culture is sailing and piracy and just not be able to sail around anywhere. Plus hammerfell and high rock are so culturally intertwined it would be jarring to leave one out. Maybe even have an orsinium dlc later on, that would be badass.
Only problem is there isn’t any sand in the teaser which is what Hammerfell is known for. I do hope they do it though because that sounds sick and maybe it’s more than one continent in the game.
Honestly I feel like the most damming point against anywhere in southern Tamriel is that all those areas are a bit too alien. Oblivion & Skyrim are both very "normal human" games and that's what the casual audience expects. I don't think a game like Morrowind would be made as part of the main series anymore
Hammerfel is really the best now, as it has all diverse ,,stuff". From land, to people, to politics. There are two factions which will serve well for the story -Crowns and forebears / (Empire-Stormcloack). On the wiki it also says there was Dwemer, Ayelid and what not there in the desert.
Fwiw, the map featured in the post was the map that came with the physical game back in 2011 so I'm not sure how much we want to read into the date on it.
I have a feeling it has something to do with the Dwemer. I hope to goodness they don't, but they might explain why they disappeared. My theory is if the thalmor are trying to return back to their original forms before lorkhan betrayed yadayadayada, it might have something to do with how the dwemer disappeared. Which I have a feeling will be that they tried to rival the power of the gods, and so we're returned to their incorporial forms which are on a different plane of existence.
I think ES6 will be after Skyrim because the map in Skyrim is from 4E175 if I remember correctly, a map from a few years later could have widely replaced the 4E175 by 10 or so years after 4E201
They could set the game in the Aldmeri Dominion, combining Elsweyr, Valenwood, and Summerset Isles together. It could be fun to have your race actually matter beyond a few minor dialogue options and automatic access to locations that don't really matter. That being said, I'm pretty sure it's going to be set in Hammerfell. The political plot will be about Hammerfell rejoining the Empire and fighting off the Aldmeri Dominion. The existential plot will be tied to evil dudes (possibly from the Dominion) trying to destroy the Adamantine Tower and bringing about the end of Nirn. The cool mechanic will be that your hero is a sword singer, maybe a rebirth of Gaiden Shinji, or possibly an incarnation of Ebonarm.
black marsh would only be a good setting for a game if there was lore explaining the disappearance of flesh flies and possibly quests dealing with them reappearing and having to get rid of the species again
100%. as i stated in my own comment, hammerfell is the location. whether they decide to roll high rock into there as well remains to be seen and i hope they do. the real dream is to do hammerfell with high rock and orsinium. its possible, but bethesda is lazy so i wouldnt get our hopes up. all this depending on if the game is even still being worked on and hasnt been scrapped.
@@einarr7301 Another option which I would be satisfied with is a very well done Hammerfell with all its orbiting isles. As a DLC, we get to go to Yokuda which is the birthplace of Redguards. Yokuda is not that big and would be a great expansion. In sum, they need to offer us more than just a Skyrim size territory to explore while keeping the same density.
I'd imagine ES:Black Marsh is like exploring the amazon with magic. Black Marsh would be PERFECT because you can set up outposts very effectively and have it be a very meaningfully mechanic incorporated into the game, being that the natural environment is very harsh and hostile. Learning the conquer blackmarsh would help every other province thrive🎉 😮
actually I think that it will be in high rock because comparative to the map the candle representing present is on a book that is up high next to a rock /j
I'm almost certain that the game will take place in Hammerfell, but I think some small regions of High Rock will be present like Balfiera, which has the Adamantine tower that ties into a popular fan theory for the plot of TES 6. In his recent interview with MrMattyPlays Todd also said that the plan for Starfield was to have story expansions in new areas each year, and that he was similarly committed to supporting Skyrim for many years. I think it's possible that High Rock might gradually be added to TES 6 one region at a time as part of the long term support for the game. If not High Rock, I think it's quite likely we'll also see some of the islands west of Hammerfell like Thras, Caspar and Herne eventually be added similar to how Solstheim has been a dlc in the past.
I actually think that TES 6 will take place in our imagination if Bethesda keeps going so slow

I know that "games are hard to make", however there is really no excuse for a game sequel coming out 17 years later. That's an insane amount of time!
@@vorteco7692 i think they should just admit that they scrapped elder scrolls 6.

Skyrim is a province of a continent dude, not a continent. Continent is Tamriel.
The Imperial deserters thing only enhances the middle finger to the Empire imo lol.
i think the most badass race is Argonians. They defeated AND counter-invaded daedra during the oblivion crisis 😂
@mrtkhrmn by badass you mean Hist slaves? They get buffed by the Hist whenever the Hist are threatened. Otherwise the Hist abandon them.
@@jesseleeshoemakerjr5461 Well, without any help, Redguards defeated as well. i mean, give me many buffs you can, i won't try to invade Dagon's realm. Don't get me wrong, i also think that Redguards are badasses too but i don't think they are the most badass race.
After over a decade of waiting it better be in both Hammerfell and High Rock.
yeah i sincerely doubt that, judging by the last few games we'll be lucky if we even get half the content we had in skyrim, even luckier if bethsoft drops that awful random generation tech they used to create 99.98% of starfield's planets and dungeons
I just want to emulate Paul Atreides in the TES universe and wipe out the Dominion. Thats all 😅
Skyrim was the only elder scrolls game that had an attack/ability as the unique feature. Oblivion just had oblivion gates and morrowind had different outcomes throughout the story.
if it's gonna be a reskin of starfield space powers, I don't want it
Bethesda needs to get off their high chair and outsource their IP, whatever mainline entries they create, third parties could create their 'New Vegas' style Elder Scrolls game,
I'd love you see Black Marsh and Elswyr but they won't get their own numbered entries
It's very clear from the sheer size of Hammerfell to the political landscape and biomes that it will be the next game in the series, but we could have had the entire continent covered by now or even an Akavir spinoff if Bethesda would just be willing to outsource it
I agree it's pretty dumb that they don't.
Hearing you say “hello my fellow HIERLINGS OF HOUSE TELVANI” genuinely puts me in a good mood man keep up the amazing work

I just hope It continues with the Dominion's plotline. That most be the main story of the game.
It’s gotta! there’s tons of stuff in Skyrim of the Redguards mentioning what happening in there county and if lots of mention of hammer fell by NPCs more than any other country..
It was generally accepted a while ago that it would be Hammerfell and High Rock combined. Sure, it could be wrong, but that's been the consensus for many years.
Yeah no we knew this like Six years ago
I hope they do Hammerfell, but also include Orsinium. It’s not part of the province, I think. But it’s so small it would fit right in.
Orsinium would be DLC
13:00 The terrain from this trailer is heavily based on the crude terrain of Hammerfell that you can see if you clip outside the world border in skyrim. There's a photo of them side by side from the same spot and they both have the same in bay with the peninsulas, the hill the camera is flying over and the mountains in the distance. The announcement was made before pre production had even began so this was likely the only reference they had for the trailer as the map wouldn't be built yet.
i thought they already had footage of the game being developed. like Skyrim Granny getting put in the game
@@jammyjammich
They showed off that they scanned her face using photogrammetry, as well as how they were using photogrammetry for scanning terrain like rocks and stuff.
I would love to see these provinces, but Bethesda will probable made them way bellow what we learned about them
Sorry but the change for Cyrodil to be more classic Fantasy was much better
The jungles/swamp area can be for Valenwood/Black marsh
Cyrodil is probably the only place that’s classic fantasy (maybe high rock too)
@@reality_is_sin High Rock was always classic fantasy and is much more so than even Cyrodiil was in Oblvion, Cyrodiil was a „normal“ Jungle completely different from Black marsh.

The Elder Scrolls VI: Hammerfell just sounds so badass.
The Elder Scrolls VI: Sunforge could be a nice name for it since the view of the teaser seemed to be from around skaven overlooking the illiac bay. And Sunforge is the region skaven is located in and i just like how it sounds lol
I genuinely think a Hammerfell+High Rock+Orsinium is possible
Base game unlikely, but Hammerfell with High Rock and Orsinium being 2 of the main DLCs seems possible.
I think we may see some form of the stormcloaks in hammerfell as "the enemy of my enemy is my friend"
I really hope it’s set in Hammerfell. I’d love to see some sort of resolution/aftermath of the Saadia quest in Skyrim
Yeah you’ve convinced me, at first I wasn’t a believer mainly because I just really didn’t want it to be true but now I’m actually kind of excited for what they could do with region so thank you
Tbh it’s morbid, but I always think about how I could die before ES6. My soul wouldn’t be free, but I hope it’s set in high rock
There still is a lot of continuity between games:
In Arena you reinstate the emperor and stop the empire from turning into chaos.
I'm guessing elder scrolls 6 is in hammerfall and the crater in the trailer hints to something dropping from the sky
It WILL be Hammerfall, just not because of any of that, but because of DEI points...
I checked mine on my wall and it is the same
Orsinium and stros m'kai seem like great DLC options if elder scrolls 6 would be in hammerfell
I very much do think Hammerfell will be the location.
1. Its one of the known places with Dwemer Ruins
7:53 since it is on the coast of the bay I’d describe it as more of a Mediterranean climate, which aligns well with the terrain we see
Great takes Master Neloth!
It makes me feel really depressed to think that I may not live to see the next Elder Scrolls game the way they're taking their time with it.
i went from being a child, teenager, and now adult in the time skyrim has come out to now…

I’ll be staggered if Tes6 releases and has more than 3 skills: Warrior, Thief, Mage.
Kids are starting kindergarten this fall who first played Skyrim on their refrigerators
Love these videos keep them coming! ❤️
I think there’s a chance the 6th game is about a falmer invasion
Retarded
I'd rather them take the sweet time to perfect this than release hot trash like most of the crap coming out today
Also i would love if it took place after the Skyrim events or and the butt end
Tes vi will be names thug shaker simulator
I think it would be awesome if it took place in all of Tamriel since they are taking so long and it would be cool to return to some of the provinces from the earlier games (I know it definitely won’t)
imo Hammerfell makes sense, but given the scale of games these days, the sheer size and scope of Starfield and what modern hardware can push out, Hammerfell and Highrock could be in one game or the entirety of the Aldmeri Dominion
I thought we already knew this
it should be both hammerfell and high rock
I really hope it’s High Rock or Black Marsh
I kinda want to have all the areas combined in 1 game would be huge with the previous games just copy the landscape then attach it to the invisible wall of skyrim to walk to oblivion or morrowind
The same way in Fallout 3 someone was there looking for a person from the setting of Fallout 4, it seems like in TES5 there was someone looking for a person from the setting of TES6.
I don’t think the map date has any bearing on TES VI because that’s the same map used in game in Skyrim.
- a prisoner who helps/opposes Saadia or takes no interest in her
- a guard who helps/opposed Saadia
- a raiding party who helps/opposes Saadia
And dialogue choices determine if Saadia was lying or telling the truth.
Really wish they would do the bay again. Be a great way to mix up the back drop with the two provinces
Its 100 in hammerfall u also see sentinel in distance also u missed talking about the crater in the trailer. Is this the main stroy of the game. Do the dwemers come back?drop from the sky
I'm pretty positive that it's all but absolutely confirmed to encompass Hammerfell and High Rock.

I think it’ll be Hammerfell for the sole reason that the Dwemer had a much smaller presence in southern Tamriel and because of how popular the Dwemer are in the fan base, they would want to try and maximize their profit, and people enjoy the Dwemer and their mysteries
I'd LOVE for it to include High Rock and Hammerfell as well as naval combat in the Illiac Bay.
I always wanted Valenwood and Elsweyr together. Maybe with expansions in summerset and black marsh
I think a lot of us just want black Marsh would it make sense no
Only problem is there isn’t any sand in the teaser which is what Hammerfell is known for. I do hope they do it though because that sounds sick and maybe it’s more than one continent in the game.
we know it's gonna be set in hammerfell- the real question is if it'll also include high rock
If the Thalmor are indeed the main antagonists in TES VI, then that justifies me constantly attacking them on the streets of Skyrim 😂
Honestly I feel like the most damming point against anywhere in southern Tamriel is that all those areas are a bit too alien. Oblivion & Skyrim are both very "normal human" games and that's what the casual audience expects. I don't think a game like Morrowind would be made as part of the main series anymore
Personally im hoping they will do hammerfell AND high rock.
With how powerful consoles are now. I see no reason they couldnt do this.
The warm setting will be a pleasant contrast
When he said hammer fell or elsweyr did he say hammer fell or elsewhere
How about more than one province its not 2011 anymore in fact how about all of Tamriel with 16 times the detail.
Only 10 more years until we find out! Awesome!!
“Elder Scrolls VI: Bethesda goes bankrupt”
I was just thinking about this yesterday. 😅 I really hope it is.
The real debate is whether it's Hamerfell or Hammerfell+High Rock
100%. as i stated in my own comment, hammerfell is the location. whether they decide to roll high rock into there as well remains to be seen and i hope they do. the real dream is to do hammerfell with high rock and orsinium. its possible, but bethesda is lazy so i wouldnt get our hopes up.
all this depending on if the game is even still being worked on and hasnt been scrapped.

With the amount of time we’ve waited we better get all of Tamriel and fully fleshed out.
Thras mentioned?!!!
Let's gooo SLOAD!!!!
I really hope we get to see Thras!
The fact that the trailer came out six years ago and we still don't even know basic facts about the game like this...
