Only problem with that line is it's BS. If Itachi didn't fight Naruto, who he just so happened to give the crow with Shisui's eye to, then Itachi remain just a puppet of Kabuto. It's not like he planned to be revived and fight Naruto.
Basically, his "flex" has nothing to do with himself, and more just a coincidence of good fortune. And considering he initially tried to fight Kabuto alone, it definitely would have backfired in the end.

The greatest flex is when the village refuses to tell Pain anything and actively fights it to the death. Nagato thought he could just do his casual invasion and the entire village pulled up to deny his flex.

I honestly dont think Sasuke's MS was straining to keep up, I think that just like his first fight with Lee he can SEE the attacks but he himself is too slow to react to them. You can see his eyes following each of the blades as it moves but they still hit him.
Honorabke mention to Madara, after being very nearly sealed away, busting out a full body Susano'o, declaring "don't worry, it gets MUCH better!!" and upgrading it to a Perfect Susano'o, slicing a mountain range in half with a single sword swing, and only THEN asks the Kage "what adult uses their full power on mere children?"

Itachi did walk into the leaf village fearlessly at one point, but that was before he found Naruto and it led to his fight vs the 4 named Jounin.

Kishimoto was really on one when he wrote Madara in the war. There was no reason for him to make Madara as broken as he did. He had to have the other characters go through many broken jutsus just to be on par with him. As a result, he really struggled to contain the power levels during the war.
The whole problem with the war arc is that there was basically no challenge. Sasori took up almost two whole books in his fight with Sakura and Chiyo, and gets taken out in like 2 chapters in the war.
Madara was the first person who actually felt like a real threat. And while he definitely flourished, it eventually became tiring to me. If he had gone out with the other reanimated shinobi and left undefeated and OP it would have been fine, but he just kept going and going and it got old.

Actually the Tsuchikage handidly dealt with Madara's 5 clones by fighting smart and weighing them down. He then went on to help others but loses after that. Madara did acknowledge him as the only true threat among the 5.
The most disrespectful scene for me is when obito asked himself:

Madara intentionally getting hit by Ohnoki's particle style just to spook the 5 kage by showing them Hashirama's face on his chest is up there too

Honorable mention: Pain pulling up to the strongest village in the verse, turning it into a crater killing some of the strongest people in the verse, and then no diffing naruto in not only the strongest form we had seen him in at that time (sage mode), but then fought on equal footing with every tail of the strongest jinchuriki's chakra cloak, whose tailed beast was the strongest tailed beast in the verse.

Bro took on TWO users of the hidden lotus and a Jonin possessing the Byakugan in its purest form and not only captured them but made Might Guy open the sixth gate and use Morning Peacock to stop a clone with just under a third of his actual strength. That's insanity 😭🤣

He also backed it up by winning that 2v1.
For number 2, same fight, would’ve mentioned another VICIOUS line in this fight when he says “What adult goes full force when fighting mere children?”. Might make that entry propel to number 1.
I thought Kabuto flexing on Obito by pulling up the Edo tenseid version of Madara was sick as well.
That's because he had to respond to Obito flexing on him. Obito witnessing Kabuto revive pretty much the entire Akatsuki plus extras and then saying "And what if I refuse?"
I absolutely loved the moment Madara made 25 clones with Susanoo during the fight against 5 Kage, calling 5v1 "a nice ratio for games". I like this line so much. It's just a game for him

Fun fact about Bee vs Taka: Killer Bee is shown to be far away from the battlefield after clowning Taka and killing Sasuke twice. There's no reasonable explanation for why Bee was so far away and unaffected, other than team Taka was getting bodied by a clone the entire time.
Go check it out for yourselves. He never sustained major damage until Jugo hit him with the rocket arm assault, so it makes perfect sense to me.
for me the biggest flex in Naruto history was when kcm 1 Naruto rolled up during the 4th great shinobi world war and pushed aside Temari when she said that she was the strongest wind style user. that scene always makes me laugh.
I know this is a Boruto one, but I think the biggest flex would be Hinata out eating Naruto at his favorite restaurant. That, or Kakashi actively trolling with his face mask

I would say the fight between Neji and hinata is a honorable flex from neji, since from the beggining Neji was telling hinata to give up, told exatcly what she was thinking at the start, basically showing their difference in power, he then proceeds to fight her in what it looks like an even fight, with hinata actually hitting the first hit, but only to be later revealed that neji was the whole fight hitting hinatas chakra points one after the other without her even noticing to then going to Neji almost killing her in the end, needing 4 Jonins to stop him, Kiba said Neji would destroy hinata, neji played with her emotions, to then show to everyone the difference in ability at that time, might not be one of the greatest flexes in naruto, but sure one that deserves to be mentioned
I’m sorry I could be misremembering this, but Hinata didn’t want to fight at all, again I could be wrong but I’m sure she didnt want to be a ninja to begin with, Neji wanted to prove he was better because of his mark, so ofcourse he had a reason to go all out, but that’s not me saying that neji isn’t strong

About Gengetsu being a menace, I think the most telling part about him in that regard is the fact that he and Mu killed each other in a mutual strike. Gengetsu doesn't even have a kekkei genkai, and yet he was a match for a kekkei tota wielding sensory specialist.

I really liked how Itachi was sitting on a chair watching Sasuke and then proceeded to ask him how much he could actually see. I mean Sasuke had been so proud of his sharingan. It was really a great flex.

I'm always confused on why people say Itachi turning out to be a good guy is a retcon. I understand the flashbacks that delved deeper into what happened that night only happened during Shippuden but Itachi was always a relative unknown anyways. Beyond the fact, that "he wanted to test his limits" we knew nothing about him.
The fact that Kakashi is known all over with Multiple titles is crazy that it didn’t make the list. The man is a celebrity. Also Minato’s feat also suprised me he didn’t make the list.

Wait.. speaking of Orochimaru being strong again because he got his arms back, why didn't he do that earlier??? Its not like he couldn't have gotten the Shinigami mask. He was able to fight 4 tails Naruto AND he had the help of Kabuto, one of the best spies in the Naruto universe, so he was plenty capable enough already
Well for one thing, he had to slice open his stomach, in order to free his arms, which was very likely to be fatal as he had to overtake a white zetsu to prevent dying.
Besides that, he was going to be face to face with (as far as he knew) 3 hokage spirits who at least 1 of would be immediately hostile to him. Considering the spirits weren't passed in to the Pure lands, it's debatable if his prior hold over the other 2 would break. Any life saving or transference abilities could have been interfered with, it's even possible he thought the hokage may try to take his body over, had he prepared a vessel to shift to.
@@potentianox1573 Nah, I mean way before the war. Like, immediately after getting his hands sealed away, the mask was just sitting there. He could easily have gotten it, which would have made things much easier for him.
With enough time to prepare (and he had plenty of time), he could easily have fixed his hands, and then he was free to use jutsus. Just a reminder that this Orochimaru could fight 4 tail Naruto, so I think he could easily withstand a cut to his stomach

In universe reason, he probably cared more about getting the Sharingan than restoring his arms. Or he may have wanted to do both at the same time.
It's similar to asking why Orochimaru didn't ask Danzo to give him some of his Sharingan, as he clearly knew Danzo had plenty that he was even implanting them into an arm to graft on to Danzo.
Kishimoto nerfed orochimaru and never gave him sage mode
